After a crazy lead up to the NFL trade deadline that saw DeAndre Hopkins, Davante Adams, Amari Cooper, and Diontae Johnson all trade teams, it was a little quieter on Monday and Tuesday from a fantasy standpoint. The biggest move in terms of target totem poles was probably the Mike Williams trade to the Pittsburgh Steelers. But that doesn’t move the needle much.

That doesn’t mean there wasn’t a lot of movement in our Fantasy Football Week 10 Target Report from last week to this! We had guys getting hurt, players returning from injury, and possible breakouts down the stretch. So, let’s dig in and see where everything stands while we gear up for fantasy playoffs!

2024 Fantasy Football NFL Week 10 Target Report Preview

Why do we do this? Well, historically incredibly rare for a team to have three players all get 100+ targets. It’s happened only once over the last three years and less than 3% of the time over the last five years.

More teams will have ZERO players get 100+ targets than have three. And, last year, every top 24 WR except one got 100+ targets (and that was Deebo Samuel who scored 5 rushing touchdowns). That’s why the NFL Fantasy Football Week 10 Target Report is so important.

In the chart below you will see our PROJECTION for what we believe will happen. That projection is a mix of what we are seeing on the field, who is actually healthy, and what we predict for the rest of the season.

Naturally, that is going to change from week to week and it’s important to check the notes section at the bottom as to why. Our 2024 NFL Fantasy Football Week 10 Target Report has a note for every single team. So, let’s take a look!

Fantasy Football Week 10 Target Report Advice & Takeaways

NOTE: If a team moved from where they were in the Week 9 NFL target report, they will be denoted with ***

Clear Top Two

Arizona Cardinals

Atlanta Falcons

  • Drake London
  • Darnell Mooney
    • London is dealing with a hip pointer but, assuming he doesn’t miss time, he’s on a 125-target pace. Mooney has been a pleasant surprise and is currently on pace for ~120 himself. Kyle Pitts has been ripping off big chunk plays but he, Ray-Ray McCloud, and Bijan Robinson are sitting on pace for about ~80.

Cincinnati Bengals

Indianapolis Colts***

  • Michael Pittman
  • Josh Downs
    • We moved Josh Down up in the past. And we got burned when they went back to Anthony Richardson. So, we moved him back. Now it seems that Joe Flacco has been permanently installed as the Colts quarterback for the rest of this season - and Downs immediately saw 9 targets once again. So, we are comfortable elevating downs with Flacco being back-o.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Kansas City Chiefs***

Las Vegas Raiders***

  • Brock Bowers
  • Jakobi Meyers
    • Jakobi Meyers isn’t exactly a “star”. He’s certainly not Brock Bowers. But he’s quietly averaging 7.7 targets per game. Which, over 17 games, would be over 130 targets. He has 54 in 7 games despite missing a couple so he could still clear 100 this season over the second half. He’s a reliable play in PPR leagues.

Los Angeles Rams

  • Puka Nacua
  • Cooper Kupp
    • Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. We’ve struggled to have them on the field at the same time this year. But we all know what happens when they are. These are All Pro caliber pass-catchers. DeMarcus Robinson is the third fiddle, and a potential deeper dart throw when everyone is healthy, the rest of the guys go back to the bench.

New Orleans Saints

New York Giants***

  • Malik Nabers
  • Wan’Dale Robinson
    • Tyrone Tracy is emerging as a receiving threat. And we can’t ignore what Darius Slayton has done, especially when Malik Nabers was out. But both Nabers and Wan’dale are on pace for over 125 targets. So, they belong in this section.

New York Jets

  • Davante Adams
  • Garrett Wilson
    • The Jets might not be winning. But, as of late, they are targeting the guys we want them to target. Wilson and Adams are heavily involved. And Breece Hall has 48 targets through 9 games which is just shy of that 53-target number that represents a 100+ target pace.

Philadelphia Eagles

  • AJ Brown
  • DeVonta Smith
    • Dallas Goedert is the clear third fiddle while DeVonta Smith can be inconsistent at times. AJ Brown has been great but he’s dealing with an injury so we may get a temporary elevation for Smith and Goedert. Keep an eye on that situation as it develops.

San Francisco 49ers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers***

  • Mike Evans
  • Cade Otton
    • We simply cannot ignore what Cade Otton is doing right now. He has been a target machine following the injuries and I don’t think he falls out of the top two when Evans gets back. He could be locked in for you the rest of the way.

High Consolidation

Houston Texans

Miami Dolphins

One Stud, Then Uncertainty

Baltimore Ravens

  • Zay Flowers
    • This one might end up staying right where it is if Diontae Johnson never really gets ramped up in time to matter for fantasy football. No one else on this team even has 40 targets. Mark Andrews will benefit for however long Isaiah Likely is out, but this team always has the threat of Derrick Henry just taking over games.

Chicago Bears

  • DJ Moore
    • DJ Moore has reportedly not been happy with the play calling of Shane Waldron, but he did not get moved at the deadline. After him, the targets have been fairly thin. Rome Odunze has the second most with 42 but technically Keenan Allen is getting more per game, he just missed two games. Cole Kmet has been invisible.

Dallas Cowboys

Denver Broncos

Detroit Lions

  • Amon Ra St. Brown
    • ARSB is technically on pace for exactly 125 targets this year. The next closest player is Jameson Williams with 29 targets. He returns this week from a two-game suspension. Sam LaPorta only has 24 targets through 8 games - this team simply does not need to throw at the level they may have in past years because of how much more balanced the team is.

Los Angeles Chargers

Minnesota Vikings

Pittsburgh Steelers

Tennessee Titans

Washington Commanders

  • Terry McLaurin
    • Terry McLaurin is the clear top dog. Noah Brown has now emerged as the WR2 but still not a guy we can trust. He’s worth a roster spot though to see if his role can keep growing as they didn’t add a WR via trade. Zach Ertz is a boring but reliable PPR option.

Too Many Mouths To Feed?

Buffalo Bills

Green Bay Packers

Seattle Seahawks

Wide Open

Carolina Panthers

  • Right now, the target leaders for this team are Xavier Leggette (39), Ja’Tavion Sanders (30), and Chuba Hubbard (28). That puts the top guy on pace for 74 targets. Adam Thielen is set to return which will hurt the upside of Jalen Coker. We at least wish that Tommy Tremble would go away so that JT Sanders could play a full-time role. He’s clearly the best pass-catching tight end on the team. They activated running back Jonathon Brooks, so we’ll have to see where he factors in if/when he plays.

Cleveland Browns

  • The volume has been high here which has been good for everyone. But it’s not entirely clear which guys are the true top options or whether it will revolve from week to week. David Njoku has consistently been within the top two and he has the TE eligibility making him the best fantasy asset. Cedric Tillman clearly has a connection with Jameis Winston, so he’s been a great option. But any given week would we be surprised if Jerry Jeudy or Elijah Moore led this team in targets? I wouldn’t.

New England Patriots

  • Hunter Henry has 50 targets through 9 games - 53 would be a 100-target pace. SO not quite there but not far off. Henry and Demario Douglas are the best options for fantasy here. Kayshon Boutte has played a fairly high snap share as of late whereas Ja’Lynn Polk has fallen on the backburner. One more good game with 6+ targets for Henry and or Demario and we might be willing to elevate them. DeMario oddly has either gotten 3 targets or 9 targets in all the games he’s been targeted in - no more, no less.
