The Cowboys were looking for production behind CeeDee Lamb all season, and got some with Jalen Tolbert. He caught 49-of-79 passes for 610 yards and seven touchdowns this season. With Brandin Cooks missing time, Tolbert worked both out of the slot and on the perimeter, making plays in the intermediate range for the multiple Cowboys quarterbacks. Tolbert enters the final year of his rookie deal in 2025 and profiles as a WR4 for Dynasty leagues. He has a real chance of permanently taking the Cowboys’ No. 2 wideout role, though the team could still look to add to the receiver room in the offseason.

Tolbert connected with Cooper rush for a four-yard touchdown on the Cowboys’ second drive of the game. His touchdown would be the lone score the Cowboys would muster on the afternoon, as four turnovers limited the offense all afternoon. Tolbert four targets were good for third-most on the Cowboys with CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) sidelined. Tolbert won’t be on the fantasy radar against the Commanders for those still playing in Week 18.

Tolbert is active and expected to serve as one of Dallas’ primary options in the passing game, with CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) ruled out for the season earlier this week. Dallas gets an Eagles team that will be without Kenny Pickett; however, Philly’s vaunted defense, coupled with Saquon Barkley should be more than enough to give the Cowboys trouble for much of the afternoon. While Tolbert is active the Cowboys did declare RB Deuce Vaughn, CB Kemon Hall, OG T.J. Bass, OT Matt Waletzko, TE Princeton Fant, DE Tyrus Wheat, and DT Justin Rogers inactive for Week 17 against the Eagles.
