Bengals OC Dan Pitcher said he really likes the “trajectory” of Andrei Iosivas’ career.
Iosivas appears locked in to the third receiver role for the Bengals heading into the offseason, and with Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins hardly in settled contract situations, there’s probably a little upside left to tap here. “I thought he made a lot of big plays this year. I thought he really filled that role well,” Pitcher told the team’s website. “His skill set afforded us the flexibility to really move Ja’Marr as much as we moved him.” With Jermaine Burton needing a bounceback year after a rough first season where he was made inactive multiple times right before kickoff for disciplinary reasons, Iosivas seems like the best bet to hold value in deeper leagues as Cincy’s third wideout at the moment.
Andrei Iosivas caught 2-of-3 passes for 12 yards in the Bengals’ Week 18 win over the Steelers.
Andrei Iosivas caught 3-of-4 targets for 59 yards in the Bengals’ Week 17 win over the Broncos.
Iosivas appeared to give the Bengals a late lead with a long touchdown on third down with under five minutes to play but the play was called back for illegal motion. He otherwise had a quiet evening as Tee Higgins (three touchdowns), Ja’Marr Chase (103 yards on 15 targets), and Mike Gesicki (10-of-12 for 86 yards) handled the bulk of the passing load against a solid Broncos defense.
Andrei Iosivas caught 1-of-4 targets for 5 yards in the Bengals’ Week 15 win over the Titans.
The Bengals’ passing offense primarily runs through Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, leaving just a few opportunities for Iosivas. He caught one of his four targets for five yards and should only be on the fantasy radar in deep leagues. Iosivas’ path to opportunity opens up if Chase or Higgins were to miss time.
