2024 Player Outlook

The rookie QB I was most excited for last season with the dynamic Anthony Richardson. I'm a big believer in the mobile QB concept and Richardson had the mobility and rushing upside in a QB I was looking for in the mid-to-late rounds and he really didn't disappoint but sadly his season ended after just four games. We saw him play two full games and in those full games he scored 21 and 29 fantasy points. He also had 17.7 fantasy points before getting injured in his second game of the season. What we can gather from his rookie season is that he will be a factor running the football and the jury is out on him throwing the football. What to expect in 2024? I still think the rushing upside will play and Jonathan Taylor is healthy and not holding out to be an asset for him out of the backfield and in the passing attack. The Colts used a second round pick on receiver Adonai Mitchell to pair with Michael Pittman and last years rookie receiver Josh Downs. I think there is risk here and I'd suggest drafting a high floor QB2 as your backup if you take Richardson as your QB1.
