2024 Player Outlook

Trey McBride started to chip away at the Cardinals starting tight end job early last year but the floodgates burst wide open when Zach Ertz was injured in Week 7. From that week on, the only tight end that got more targets than McBride was Evan Engram. In fact, he received double the targets of any player on his own team. We have to keep in mind that the Cardinals were without Marquise Brown for most of that stretch and they did add Marvin Harrison Jr. with the fourth pick of the 2024 NFL Draft. But McBride could still be a top two target on this team and a full off-season with starting QB Kyler Murray should only help that.
