Fantasy Football NFL Week 15 Target Report: Who To Trust In The Playoffs
No more time for messing around. It’s fantasy football playoffs. The goal of the NFL target report all season long was to figure out who we can start, who we can stream, who we can stash. Now, in fantasy playoffs, there is one question that matters. Who can we trust?
We’re going to go through the recent trends to get everything updated. And you are going to see a lot more red on this sheet than ever before. This report, along with the weekly rankings which are now updated, will help you figure out who you can trust. And the rest is up to you. Good luck out there!
2024 Fantasy Football NFL Week 15 Target Report Preview
Why do we do this? Well, historically incredibly rare for a team to have three players all get 100+ targets. It’s happened only once over the last three years and less than 3% of the time over the last five years.
More teams will have ZERO players get 100+ targets than have three. And, last year, every top 24 WR except one got 100+ targets (and that was Deebo Samuel who scored 5 rushing touchdowns). That’s why the NFL Fantasy Football Week 15 Target Report is so important.
In the chart below you will see our PROJECTION for what we believe will happen. That projection is a mix of what we are seeing on the field, who is actually healthy, and what we predict for the rest of the season.
Naturally, that is going to change from week to week and it’s important to check the notes section at the bottom as to why. Our 2024 NFL Fantasy Football Week 15 Target Report has a note for every single team. So, let’s take a look!

Fantasy Football Week 15 Target Report Advice & Takeaways
NOTE: If a team moved from where they were in the Week 14 NFL target report, they will be denoted with ***
Clear Top Two
Arizona Cardinals
- Trey McBride
- Marvin Harrison Jr
- These are your two guys. Michael Wilson is a dart throw for DFS or crazy deep leagues now that he is playing more slot snaps. But he’s not dependable - Marvin Harrison barely is.
Atlanta Falcons
- Drake London
- Darnell Mooney
- Kyle Pitts has two catches over the last three games. You are taking your life in your hands starting that player. Ray-Ray McCloud might be in the deep PPR desperation tier that Demarious Douglas is but it’s London and Mooney in regular leagues.
Cincinnati Bengals
- Ja'Marr Chase
- Tee Higgins
- Tee Higgins had a down week this past week. But everyone has a down week from time to time. You aren’t going to rank Tee Higgins outside of your top 24 so, unless your team is an absolute WAGON, you are starting Tee Higgins. His usage was no different than usual. Guys like Andrei Iosivas and Mike Gesicki are not to be trusted if you can avoid it.
Jacksonville Jaguars
- Brian Thomas Jr
- Evan Engram
- The quarterback downgrade here hurts, no doubt about it. But Christian Kirk and Gabe Davis are also done for the year. The scheme has not changed so these guys will get their looks. You just have to hope Mac Jones has a good day.
Las Vegas Raiders
- Brock Bowers
- Jakobi Meyers
- With the QB change here we have to proceed with caution where possibly with Jakobi Meyers. But they have both been target hogs. And you’re not going to bench Brock Bowers.
Los Angeles Rams
- Puka Nacua
- Cooper Kupp
- These two guys are locked into your lineup for the rest of the season. And the others are for deep leagues only unless one of them goes down. It’s simply too consolidated at the top.
Philadelphia Eagles
- AJ Brown
- DeVonta Smith
- Technically DeVonta Smith (60) and AJ Brown (65) have a similar number of targets in their 10 games. But Brown has been far more effective. We are willing to utilize Smith where we need to, especially with Dallas Goedert out, but he’s not a must-start guy like Brown.
San Francisco 49ers***
- George Kittle
- Jauan Jennings
- Jauan Jennings has been incredible in the games without Deebo Samuel or Brandon Aiyuk and Aiyuk is done for the year. He and George Kittle are must-starts. Deebo Samuel has had trouble separating and has not cracked 22 yards in four straight games. I simply cannot trust this player in my lineups so I’d rather not start him if I can avoid it.
Seattle Seahawks
- DK Metcalf
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba leapfrogged Tyler Lockett this year and he’s not going back in the bottle. As disappointing as DK Metcalf has been, he’s still catching four balls each week. We want big games out of him, but he could be worse. And he has 90 targets in 11 games.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Mike Evans
- Cade Otton
- Cade Otton is scaring us as of late. But are there really 12 tight ends that we can rank ahead of him at this stage? If he has another dud this week he’ll be completely out of the circle of trust but he’s technically a top two target on his team.
Washington Commanders***
High Consolidation
Cleveland Browns
- David Njoku
- Jerry Jeudy
- Cedric Tillman
- Elijah Moore
- At this stage, Jerry Jeudy and David Njoku are locked in starts (assuming Njoku’s hamstring issue isn’t a problem). But all these guys are reasonable spot starts if you need them. That would especially be true for Elijah Moore if Cedric Tillman doesn’t clear concussion protocol. But Tillman replaces Michael Woods in the lineup, so the roles don’t change.
Miami Dolphins
- Tyreek Hill
- Jaylen Waddle
- De’Vone Achane
- Jonnu Smith
- Tyreek Hill and Jonnu Smith are guys you are very likely starting unless you have an incredible team. Jaylen Waddle is towards the fringe, but he has been better as of late so he’s in consideration in a decent matchup as well.
Minnesota Vikings
- Justin Jefferson
- Jordan Addison
- T.J. Hockenson
- Justin Jefferson or Jordan Addison have been white hot as of late. T.J. Hockenson hasn’t played a huge snap share but he did run 81% of the routes this past week which is all you can really ask for. So you could do worse there.
New York Jets
- Davante Adams
- Garrett Wilson
- Breece Hall
- When they are healthy, I have no problem starting any of these three players. The team might not be good, but the touches and targets are consolidated. Breece Hall might once again be out this week, however.
One Stud, Then Uncertainty
Baltimore Ravens***
- Zay Flowers
- Mark Andrews
- This one takes a bit of a leap of faith. The leap here is that the 74% snap share we saw from Mark Andrews last week is something that we can potentially depend upon. As they ramp up for playoffs. He’s put up TE1 numbers in fantasy three of the last four weeks with improved usage. Don’t rug-pull us now Mark.
Chicago Bears
- DJ Moore
- DJ Moore already has 100 targets on the season. The quality hasn’t always been great, but he clearly leads the team in targets, receptions, yards, and touchdowns. After him it gets dicey. Keenan Allen would be the pick over Rome Odunze, but the targets can be spread out from week to week. And we warned you all year not to trust Cole Kmet.
Dallas Cowboys
- CeeDee Lamb
- Jake Ferguson just had one of the best possible matchups against the Cincinnati Bengals. And he did nothing.
Denver Broncos
- Courtland Sutton
- This one is easy now that it’s playoff time. No one ever emerged as the true second target. Barring a drastic change, it’s Courtland Sutton, and then no one.
Detroit Lions
- Amon Ra St. Brown
- We want to trust Jameson Williams and Sam LaPorta. We really do. And in deeper leagues you might not have a choice. But both are boom/bust players to a certain degree. If Jameson Williams doesn’t break off a long one, his numbers can be ugly. And Sam LaPorta has been fairly touchdown dependent. It doesn’t help that Tim Patrick showed up and decided to score two touchdowns.
Houston Texans
- Nico Collins
- Tank Dell and Dalton Schultz simply are not in the circle of trust, even with Stefon Diggs out. Against the Jaguars, with a brutal secondary and terrible safeties, Tank Dell just had one catch. He’s in the “start if you must” category along with Schultz.
Indianapolis Colts
- Michael Pittman
- Michael Pittman is not an easy guy to trust, and I would strongly advise you to attempt to avoid starting him against the Broncos and Patrick Surtain this week if you can. But he has at least looked better the last few weeks with at least five catches in three straight games. Josh Downs is in that PPR category with guys like Demario Douglas and Wan’Dale Robinson where you only start them if you don’t have other options.
Kansas City Chiefs
- Travis Kelce
- Unfortunately, Travis Kelce is the only one who has consistently gotten the snaps and targets here. DeAndre Hopkins has not crossed the 60% snap threshold in four straight games for this team though he remains a flex level play if you need him. In very deep leagues, Noah Gray is a thought. But he also rarely plays more than 60% of the snaps.
Los Angeles Chargers
- Ladd McConkey
- Will Dissly is set to miss multiple weeks. But he was a fringe player anyway. If you are on dire straits you can consider Stone Smartt, Quentin Johnston, or Joshua Palmer. But Ladd McConkey is the one player who has been consistent when healthy.
New England Patriots
- Hunter Henry
- Hunter Henry leads this team in routes run, targets, receptions, and yards. Trust is a strong word but the tight end position is not an easy one. I’m willing to start him in my leagues against the Cardinals this week and I think you should consider it given your situation. Hopefully he doesn’t make us regret it.
New Orlean Saints
- Alvin Kamara
- Outside of Alvin Kamara there is really no one that is locked into your lineup here, especially with Derek Carr out. Juwan Johnson and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are on the fringe for consideration. Chris Olave remains out with no clear timetable for return.
New York Giants
- Malik Nabers
- As we’ve mentioned, you might be able to use a guy like Wan’Dale Robinson in full PPR formats, just like guys like Josh Downs or Demario Douglas might be in play. But with the quarterback position in flux, it’s really just Malik Nabers.
Pittsburgh Steelers
- George Pickens
- George Pickens is the guy when healthy but we don’t know if/when he will be back. Van Jefferson picked up his snaps last week and had one catch so we can’t trust him. Pat Freiermuth is on the backend TE1 radar, but he only got three targets last week even without Pickens.
Tennessee Titans
- Calvin Ridley
- Nick Westbrook-Ikhine-Ikhine did exactly what we feared he might - he didn’t catch a touchdown. You take away the touchdowns and he’s not even close to fantasy relevant. That’s why we don’t chase touchdowns. It’s Ridley then no one here.
Too Many Mouths To Feed?
Buffalo Bills
- Khalil Shakir
- Amari Cooper
- Dalton Kincaid
- Keon Coleman
- James Cook
- We just never quite got a look at this team with everyone healthy after the Amari Cooper trade. When Dalton Kincaid returns, that could throw a wrench into this target totem pole. I do like Khalil Shakir in PPR. And Amari Cooper has upside in any given week. But it’s hard to sit here and say this team has a locked in stud.
Green Bay Packers
- Jayden Reed
- Romeo Doubs
- Christian Watson
- Tucker Kraft
- Josh Jacobs
- Dontayvion Wicks
- Luke Musgrave (OUT)
- It’s kind of crazy that this 9 win team does not have a single player who is on pace for even 80 targets. We thought Jayden Reed was a guy we could trust but he went out and dropped zero points last week. Romeo Doubs is set to return which is going to further dilute these target waters. I’d try not to rely on these guys if you can avoid it so check the rankings to see if you have to.
Wide Open
Carolina Panthers
- If you need them, Adam Theilen and Xavier Legette are the clear top two guys. And there are certainly leagues where I need players like this. But, with the bye weeks gone, it’s also kind of hard to rank these guys in the top 36 or so moving forward after only a couple games of solid production. If Thielen does it again here, I’ll be willing to move him up.
