Matthew Boyd, Cleveland Guardians vs. Los Angeles Dodgers 

Coming back from Tommy John surgery (TJS), he has been pitching well for his new team, racking up a useful 2.70 ERA and 0.90 WHIP following his first win and QS against the visiting Texas team. His depressed K rate should rebound as he continues to recover from his surgical procedure, although his peripheral metrics are not indicative that his limited excellent results over the first three games pitched this season will continue to look ace-like.
