Week 6 of the NFL season has arrived and we are back to a 10 game main slate on DraftKings and 11 games over on FanDuel as we have the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings on their bye weeks. We also have the Jaguars and Bears playing in London on Sunday morning to go along with our usual primetime games on Thursday, Sunday and Monday nights.

This week, we once again look to take advantage of some top matchups for our NFL DFS Week 6 QB coach as I bring you my NFL DFS Week 6 QB coach top targets, values and fades to build your lineups around this weekend.

Week 5 had some winners and had some losers in the QB coach. Our play of the day, Geno Smith, was good, not great but still finished among the top 10 scoring QBs for the week.

Our top play of Lamar Jackson was the QB2 and two of our value plays in Trevor Lawrence and Joe Flacco also finished inside the top 5.

Our fade of Kyler Murray was a bust as he was QB6 while C.J. Stroud, Jayden Daniels and Jordan Love were average at best when compared to the rest of the position.

Deshaun Watson is officially on the no fly list for me moving forward.

NFL DFS Week 6 QB Coach For FanDuel & DraftKings Fantasy

Our Week 6 DFS slate features four QB's over $7,000 on DraftKings and just seven QB's priced over $8,000 on FanDuel.

With bye weeks and primetime games this week we are without Patrick Mahomes, Matthew Stafford, Sam Darnold, Trevor Lawrence, Caleb Williams, Geno Smith, Brock Purdy, Joe Burrow, Daniel Jones, Josh Allen and Aaron Rodgers on the main slate for DraftKings and everyone but Burrow and Jones on FanDuel.

When it comes to game totals this week we are looking at the Detroit Lions vs Dallas Cowboys who have a slate high 52.5 game total. We also see the Washington Commanders vs Baltimore Ravens in a game with a 51.5 total as both of those games figure to command some high rostership.

NFL DFS QB Top Tier Picks For Week 6

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens - DraftKings: $7,800 | FanDuel: $9,500

He isn't cheap but boy is he going to be worth it this week. The matchup between the Ravens and Commanders is set with a 51.5 game total and has the extra aura surrounding it do to the Lamar Jackson vs Jayden Daniels matchup.

We love Lamar last week because we thought he may be forced to throw the football in it ended up being a shootout against the Bengals and boy was it as the two teams combined to score 79 points.

Jackson threw for 348 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for another 55 yards.

On paper the Commanders defense is pretty brutal and though they have turned in back-to-back good efforts against the Cardinals and Browns, they now have to deal with Jackson who has this Ravens offense averaging over 30 points against over the last three weeks.

Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys - DraftKings: $6,700 | FanDuel: $8,000

Highest total on the board this week is the Lions vs Cowboys matchup. Last week against the Steelers Dak completed 69% of his passes for 352 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.

With Brandin Cooks out we saw receiver Jalen Tolbert step up in a big way to help compliment the passing offense which is anchored by Ceedee Lamb and tight end Jake Ferguson.

The matchup against the Lions is an interesting one because teams really struggle to run the football against Detroit but you can throw against them.

If we are going to get a volume passing game from Prescott this week then he will pay off the price tag.

Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals - FanDuel: $8,200

FanDuel only play here as FanDuel includes the Sunday Night Football game on their main slate.

Burrow has been everything fantasy managers could ask for and more since the Bengals  stunning Week 1 loss to the Patriots.

Since that game Burrow has thrown 12 touchdown passes which includes five touchdown passes last week against the Ravens.

In Week 6 the Bengals are on the road against a Giants team coming off of a shocking win over the Seattle Seahawks.

NFL DFS QB Mid-Tier Picks For NFL Week 6

Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers - DraftKings: $6,600 | FanDuel: $8,500

It wasn't a great performance by Love in Week 5 despite the favorable matchup as he completed just 57.7% of his passes for 224 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.

The hope for Week 6 is that as the team gets Romeo Doubs back after last week's one week suspension that there will be enough playmakers on the field for Love to have himself a strong outing.

His Week 6 opponent in the Arizona Cardinals were torched by Brock Purdy last week and Jayden Daniels the week prior so why not Jordan Love this week?

Jared Goff, Detroit Lions - DraftKings: $6,400 | FanDuel: $7,700

The other side of that 52.5 game total matchup between the Lions and Cowboys is Jared Goff.

The Lions are fresh off of a bye week and now get to face a Cowboys defense that is banged up and giving up points.

Yes, the Lions still like to run the football a ton but before the bye week we saw Goff throw for 292 yards and two touchdowns as he completed all 18 of his throws.

Yes, it's impossible to suggest that Goff will once again complete every one of his throws, but this offense is loaded with Amon-Ra St.Brown, Sam LaPorta and Jameson Williams making plays.

NFL Week 6 DFS QB Value Picks

Justin Fields, Pittsburgh Steelers - DraftKings: $5,800 | FanDuel: $7,600

Narrative play here for me this week. The Steelers have lost two straight weeks and now Russell Wilson is deemed fully healthy.

An 0-3 run for Fields likely sends him back to the bench in favor of Russell Wilson who was supposed to be the team's starter before the training camp injury put him on the shelf.

The losses by the Steelers haven't really been the fault of Fields who has five total touchdowns over the last two weeks.

In Week 6, with his job possibly on the line, we see Fields on the road against a seemingly dysfunctional Raiders team and this feels like a spot where Fields can put up a big number and he may have to in order to keep his job from Wilson.

Joe Flacco, Indianapolis Colts - DraftKings: $5,500 | FanDuel: $7,200

Anthony Richardson was a limited participant in practice so we will need to see whether or not the Colts decide he is healthy enough to play and if he isn't then we go right back to Joe Flacco.

Last week was looking like a bust for Flacco but then all of a sudden Alec Pierce stepped on the field and we got some immediate production as they connected on three deep passes which included two for touchdowns late in the game.

The Colts are expected to be without star receiver Michael Pittman for the next handful of weeks but that wouldn't put me off the Colts this week as long as Joe Flacco is starting.

NFL DFS QB Fades For Week 6

Drake Maye, New England Patriots - DraftKings: $5,000 | FanDuel: $6,000

The Jacoby Brissett experiment in New England is over as head coach Jerrod Mayo announced, officially, on Wednesday that Drake Maye will be the starter for the team's Week 6 matchup against the Houston Texans.

As fun of a player as Maye looks like he can be with his big arm and mobility. I'm going to be fading the rookie QB here in this matchup against a Texans defense that just got after Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills just last week.

NFL Week 6 QB Play Of The Week

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles - DraftKings: $7,200 | FanDuel: $7,400

Fresh off of a bye week after an embarrassing loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This is a must win game for the Eagles and as a bonus for Jalen Hurts, both AJ Brown and Devonta Smith are expected to take the field this weekend against the Cleveland Browns.

Yes, the Browns have a strong defense, but having a healthy receiving group will force defenses to be honest with their defensive coverage and that can lead to Hurts not only making plays with his arm but opening up lanes for him to make plays with his legs as well.
