2024 Player Outlook
Questions answered. Can Matthew Stafford still be a high-end fantasy QB after suffering a season ending injury at 34 years old in 2022? He certainly can and did just that in 2023 as he threw for 3,965 yards with 24 touchdowns and 11 interceptions over 15 games. Yes, Stafford was injured again and it cost him a few games but overall he was strong, especially down the stretch when it mattered the most for fantasy managers, finishing as QB8 in points per game following the Rams bye week. In 2024, Stafford is now 36 years old and he has a checkered injury history but we can't predict the future and if Stafford is healthy now we have to draft him as such. With Puka Nacua emerging as one of the top receivers in football last season, Stafford has a clear top option but Cooper Kupp still showed capable of making plays when healthy as did running back Kyren Williams. Stafford is a great QB to target in the later rounds of your draft if you are looking to pair with another higher upside QB.
