Sunday's NFL DFS main slate for Week 4 of the NFL season features a 12-game main slate on DraftKings and 13-games over on FanDuel as they continue to feature the Sunday Night Football matchup. The featured matchup for DFS this week consists of the Washington Commanders taking on the Arizona Cardinals in a game with a slate high 50.5 total in the 4:25 ET window.

This week, we once again look to take advantage of some top matchups for our NFL DFS Week 4 QB coach as I bring you my NFL DFS Week 4 QB coach top targets, values and fades to build your lineups around this weekend.

Brock Purdy26.786QB4.5Fade3
Matthew Stafford12.845.7QB2.3Fade17

Another week of mixed results. The offense around the NFL is something else right now. Scoring is largely down and so is the QB production. That said, we did have the QB2 overall in our top tiers section with Lamar Jackson coming up big against the Dallas Cowboys.

We also nailed the value tier with Sam Darnold and Andy Dalton finishing as QB5 and QB6 on the week.

Fading Matthew Stafford was the right play, but I certainly did not see the Jauan Jennings game coming like it did so fading Brock Purdy who finished QB3 was less that the correct call.

We also got torched by two of the more highly rostered plays with Baker Mayfield and Derek Carr failing to reach double-digits in their respective matchups.

Our “Play of the Week” fell flat as the Lions and Cardinals game which had a 52.5 game total finished with just 33 total points.

C.J. Stroud looks a bit lost. He has the weapons but can't string together consistent drives and the turnovers are a killer.

NFL DFS Week 4 QB Coach For FanDuel & DraftKings Fantasy

The Week 4 DFS slate is a bit interesting as the player pool is without top tier plays like Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson and Dak Prescott. Week 4 also features four primetime games as we once again will have a Monday Night Football doubleheader with the Titans taking on the Dolphins and the Seahawks facing the Lions.

With the lack overall star power on the slate and struggles we've seen that the QB position this season we also do not see many QBs priced too highly, instead, on DraftKings specifically, we have a very large group in the $6K range which may result in some pretty widespread rostership for this main slate.

NFL DFS QB Top Tier Picks For Week 4

Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals - DraftKings: $6,800 | FanDuel: $8,700

I hate being redundant, especially since Murray let us down last week but this matchup truly is the best matchup on the board for opposing QB's as the Commanders defense is atrocious.

Now, yes there are a ton of narratives in play here with Commanders OC Kliff Kingsbury having been the Cardinals previous head coach and therefore may have some secrets on the tendencies Murray plays with but none of that matters if you can't defend and even in Commanders upset win over the Bengals in Week 3 we still saw them give up a ton of points to Joe Burrow and company.

C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans - DraftKings: $7,000 | FanDuel: $7,800

Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice, strike three. Stroud has found himself in good spots all season long and he has found himself in this QB coach because of it yet but he has yet to really payoff the price tag and these past two weeks have just been ugly for us DFS players.

In Week 4 he gets a home matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars who just allowed Josh Allen to throw four first half touchdowns on Monday night.

Stroud has all the weapons at his disposal to do the same with Stefon Diggs, Nico Collins and Tank Dell capable of making big plays.

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills - FanDuel: $9,200

Allen has one of the highest ceiling in DFS with two weeks of 30+ fantasy points already this season and in Week 4 he faces off against a Ravens defense that hasn't been as stout as expected. Allen's ability to run the football will always give him that upside but in Week 3 we saw him throw four first half touchdown passes against a very bad Jaguars defense.

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens - FanDuel: $8,900

Jackson has been the most consistent of the top tier QB's this season and in Week 3 we saw him complete just 12 of his 15 passes against the Cowboys but he threw for 182 yards and a touchdown while adding 87 rushing yards and another score.

This is going to be a fun battle between two of the games' best running QBs in Week 4 with the Ravens at home against the Buffalo Bills.

NFL DFS QB Mid-Tier Picks For NFL Week 4

Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders - DraftKings: $6,500 | FanDuel: $8,200

I mean, hello good sir! Daniels completed 21-of-23 passes for 254 yards and two scores while rushing for 39 yards and a touchdown in the Commanders Week 3 upset win over the Bengals.

The final touchdown from Daniels was a thing of beauty as he hit Terry McClaurin on a deep pass in the corner of the end zone for the go ahead touchdown.

Now, in Week 4 he goes on the road to face a Cardinals defense that isn't exactly a top tier unit and his ability to make THOSE kind of throws should open some eyes and hopefully now the playbook as well as we know Kliff Kingsbury wants to push the ball down the field.

Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals - DraftKings: $6,600 | FanDuel: $8,000

Yes, the Bengals lost to the Commanders in Week 3 but it wasn't due to Burrow as the Bengals QB threw for 324 yards and three touchdowns.

This performance followed up his 258 yards and two touchdowns that he had against the Chiefs the week before.

Tee Higgins returned in Week 3 and Ja'Marr Chase is looking like a man who wants to show why he believes he is worth being the highest paid receiver in football.

Now, the Bengals go on the road to face a Panthers team that got a nice win against the Raiders, but this is a defense that is really going to be put to the test against a top tier passing offense.

NFL Week 4 DFS QB Value Picks

Justin Fields, Pittsburgh Steelers - DraftKings: $5,500 | FanDuel: $6,800

Sometimes its all about the environment and not necessarily the player.  No doubt that last year was a disaster for Justin Fields but he is the starting QB for the Steelers, a team that is 3-0 on the season, and he is coming off his best fantasy performance of the season where he threw for 245 yards with one passing touchdown, one rushing touchdown and one interception.

In Week 4 the Steelers go on the road to face a Colts team that has really struggled with Anthony Richardson and the Steelers defense has been ELITE. If they can continue to get turnovers and Richardson continues to turn the football over, then Fields will have plenty of opportunities to put up points against this Colts defense.

Sam Darnold, Minnesota Vikings - DraftKings: $5,700 | FanDuel: $7,300

Speaking of players that are thriving in a good system, Darnold threw four touchdown passes in Week 3 and now has eight touchdowns and just two interceptions over the first three weeks of the season.

Having Justin Jefferson makes everything easier but Aaron Jones is making plays and making defenses respect his presence and Jalen Nailor has popped up to fill in for the injured Jordan Addison and has done so by catching a touchdown pass in all three games.

A road matchup against the Packers doesn't sound like the easiest of matchups but this offense is rolling and Kevin O'Connell knows how to formulate a game plan worth trusting.

Andy Dalton, Carolina Panthers - DraftKings: $5,200 | FanDuel: $7,000

I mean, he did make the QB coach and the Playbook last week. I even referenced the fact that he absolutely went off in his lone start last season but no, no I did not expect to see Andy Dalton go out there and complete 70% of his passes for 319 yards and three touchdowns against the Raiders.

Now, back in Carolina the Panthers welcome in the reeling Cincinnati Bengals who are 0-3 and just let Jayden Daniels complete over 90% of his passes in their Week 3 loss.

Dalton could be in for another good week with Diontae Johnson, Adam Thielen and Xavier Leggette making plays.

NFL DFS QB Fades For Week 4

Anthony Richardson, Indianapolis Colts - DraftKings: $6,300 | FanDuel: $7,500

This one doesn't take much to explain. The Steelers have the best defense in the NFL right now having not allowed more than 10 points to their opponents in any game this season while totaling four interceptions, nine sacks and fumble recovery over the first three games.

Richardson has been horrible this season throwing the football, completing less than 50% of his passes with three touchdowns and six interceptions. He has also fumbled twice and and sacked four times.

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles - DraftKings: $7,200 | FanDuel: $8,600

It's not often that fading the top priced QB on the slate is a good idea and honestly, this may not be but the Eagles are not expected to have A.J. Brown this week and Devonta Smith was knocked out of Sunday's game against the Saints.

Yes, Hurts still went off for a massive game but in Week 4 they are on road against the Buccaneers and Hurts may be forced to lean solely on the running game if he is missing his top two pass catchers.

NFL Week 4 QB Play Of The Week

Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears - DraftKings: $5,600 | FanDuel $7,100

I really went back and forth here. I love Kyler Murray this week but Caleb Williams feels like he is in a bingo spot with his price tag and home matchup agaisnt the Los Angeles Rams.

This is a Rams defense that is giving it up to everyone right now after Brock Purdy threw for 292 yards and three touchdowns last week and Kyler Murray touched them up for 266 and three touchdowns the week before.

Williams threw his first two career NFL touchdowns in Week 3 and while it still wasn't a perfect game, he did come out of it with 23 fantasy points.

Rome Odunze and DJ Moore had big time performances as did tight end Cole Kmet. I'm loving the spot for the top QB taken in the NFL Draft and I won't lie, I have to wonder if he watched what Jayden Daniels did on Monday Night Football and looks to show what he can do as well
