Best Fantasy Football Stashes Ahead Of Week 11: Backups, Waiver Wire, More
Sometimes your team is LOADED. And the only way to crack your lineup is ultimately upside down the stretch. We get that. So, this article covers those players.
The guys that might be super risky or even completely unstartable right now. But have big upside if things break just right. And guys come out of the woodwork every year, so we know they are out there.
Best Fantasy Football Stashes For Week 11
We are ideally going to look at players that are rostered in less than 50% of leagues on Yahoo, ESPN or Sleeper Fantasy as those are the guys that are generally actually available.
We know there are leagues of varying sizes and depths, so we’ll try to cover our bases. And we’ll obviously let you know what it is that makes these players the best fantasy football stashes in Week 11. So, let’s dive in!
NFL Week 11 Quarterback Stashes
Will Levis - Tennessee Titans, Yahoo: 7% | ESPN: 3% | Sleeper: 11%
We are prioritizing mobile QBs like Bo Nix and Drake Maye first. But there are a couple deeper guys with great schedules that you might want to use for a spot start here or there if you don’t trust your current QB. The Titans get Jacksonville, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and Jacksonville again down the stretch.
Drew Lock, QB, New York Giants, Yahoo: 0% | ESPN: 0% | Sleeper: 2%
Daniel Jones could be benched as soon as this week. Which not only opens the door up for Drew Lock but sets him up for arguably the best schedule possible.
The Giants have their bye week now so it would be the perfect time to install Lock and give him time to work. Then he gets TB, DAL, NO, BAL, ATL, IND for the rest of the season.
Trey Lance, QB, Dallas Cowboys, Yahoo: 0% | ESPN: 0% | Sleeper: 2%
Some of the analysis doesn’t need to be super deep. Trey Lance is willing to run. He’s run the ball almost 13% of the snaps in his short sample size as QB. And they would certainly draw up some designed runs for him.
If he gets the job, he’ll have mobile upside. Daniel Jones has been a terrible passer and a decent fantasy QB while not being half the athlete that Lance is.
- Honorable Mention: Bryce Young, Anthony Richardson, Justin Fields
NFL Week 11 Running Back Stashes
Audric Estime - Denver Broncos, Yahoo: 3% | ESPN: 1% | Sleeper: 7%
Estime is our new top waiver add but we really prefer him as a stash. We’d like to see if he can keep that “hot hand” energy going last week before we trust him.
If he leads the team in snaps and touches again, we might have something here. And there is not much left out there without injury.
Khalil Herbert - Cincinnati Bengals, Yahoo: 7% | ESPN: 4% | Sleeper: 8%
The rest of this list is mostly handcuffs. Hebert and Estime are the two guys that really have a chance to carve out a meaningful role moving forward without injury.
Estime could potentially be the lead back though while Herbert is likely destined to be the second fiddle. That said, a second fiddle getting 35-45% of the snaps for the Bengals could make some noise.
Blake Corum, RB, Los Angeles Rams, Yahoo: 16%| ESPN: 17% | Sleeper: 23%
No change for our top stash. Sean McVay has shown a willingness every step of the way to use his stars for virtually the whole game.
And he’s also gone with a “next man up” philosophy that has seen guys like Tutu Atwell and Demarcus Robinson pop. Kyren Williams is playing the biggest snap share of any running back and it’s not close.
Trey Benson - Arizona Cardinals Yahoo: 16% | ESPN: 17% | Sleeper: 24%
This one could end up being a split with Emari Demercado but the upside is too tantalizing. James Conner has gotten hurt every year and the schedule for Arizona is too good. They face the Patriots, Panthers, and Rams down the stretch. If this hits, it could hit big.
- Honorable Mentions: Keaton Mitchell, Ray Davis, Braelon Allen, Jaylen Wright, Marshawn Lloyd, Ameer Abdullah
NFL Week 11 Wide Receiver Stashes
Kayshon Boutte - New England Patriots, Yahoo: 1% | ESPN: 25% | Sleeper: 5%
Kayshon Boutte has been the clear top wide receiver for the Patriots in terms of snaps since Drake Maye took over as the starter. And he’s actually starting to pick up on some targets, especially on third down.
Let’s see how high this guy can take things. Keep an eye on Ja'Lynn Polk too who scored this week. This offense is still unsettled where many already are.
Mike Williams - Pittsburgh Steelers, Yahoo: 18% | ESPN: 1% | Sleeper: 20%
It might be getting kind of late for fantasy football stashes like this. But the Pittsburgh Steelers traded for Williams for a reason. And he did manage to catch a touchdown pass this week despite only playing 9 snaps.
The only direction for him to go from here is up. There’s a chance he ends up a full-time player by the time fantasy playoffs roll around.
Ricky Pearsall - San Francisco 49ers, Yahoo: 38%| ESPN: 25% | Sleeper:55%
Here’s what we wrote in the main article on Pearsall:
You might need to start Pearsall if it’s a deep enough league. And that’s fine, he does have some standalone value. It’s actually the combination of his standalone value AND his handcuff upside that makes him the best bench play right now.
You can use him if you need to in your lineup. And he has big upside if one of Deebo Samuel or Jauan Jennings goes down.
- Honorable Mentions: Jalen Coker, Dontayvion Wicks, Jalen Brooks, Kavontae Turpin, DeVaughn Vele
NFL Week 11 Tight End Stashes
*For those looking for it, our updated Tight End Rankings chart is in our Week 11 Waiver Wire Article
Hunter Henry - New England Patriots, Yahoo: 45% | ESPN: 54% | Sleeper: 52%
Even if you are not using him in your lineup, he’s the best stash option out there that’s rostered in 50% or so of the leagues. He could be dropped this week or during his bye Week 14. Scoop him up.
Ja'Tavion Sanders - Carolina Panthers, Yahoo: 3% | ESPN: 1% | Sleeper: 10%
Sanders has proven that he’s the best pass catching tight end on this team by far. The only remaining hurdle is their insistence on using Tommy Tremble whenever he is healthy. Big test of JT coming up out of the bye here.
- Honorable Mentions: Theo Johnson, Ben Sinnott, Elijah Higgins, Brenton Strange
What's The Reasoning Behind Fantasy Football Stashes?
Obviously, it would be nice if our entire roster was just chock full of stars. Maybe your lineup is (some of my dynasty leagues certainly are). But, for most of us, there will be holes. That’s why we highlight the Top Waiver Wire Adds each week as well as the Best Streamers to get you by.
The best fantasy football stashes though? These are the guys that win you the title. That came out of the woodworks down the stretch like rookie Odell Beckham. or Amon-Ra St. Brown. And it’s our job to find them BEFORE they break out!
