2024 Player Outlook
It didn't really feel like Young ever had a chance during his rookie season. From the get go there were reports that Young was not the first choice of the coaching staff during the draft as they were more interested in CJ Stroud but that Young was the owners pick. From their, the offense never clicked, with injuries and inconsistent play on the offensive line, running back and receiver positions. The one consistent producer on offense was receiver Adam Thielen who was a safety net, finishing with 103 receptions for 1,014 yards. We turn focus to 2024 and the Panthers have a new coach and offensive coordinator along with some new offensive weapons with Diontae Johnson signing in free agency and Xavier Legette being drafted in the first round. With better leadership and coaching there is certainly a chance last years number one overall pick can have a bounce back season but you are not touching him in single QB formats unless you plan on drafting him as a backup.
