Fantasy Baseball 2024 Two-Start Pitchers & Streaming Starters - Week 26
We now find ourselves at the end of the regular MLB season. No more Fantasy Baseball 2024 Two-Start Pitchers to categorize into tiers. No more Fantasy Baseball 2024 Two-Start Pitchers to profile and suggest as potential additions to your rotations, either for a single start or as that hidden waiver wire gem to use to pursue your league championship. No, the playoffs are soon upon us, but rest assured, when 2025 rolls around (and before the first pitch on opening day), Fantasy Alarm will be discussing the starting pitching options for your fantasy baseball endeavors in depth. Without further ado, here are this week’s Fantasy Baseball 2024 Two-Start Pitchers…

Falter nearly collected his second consecutive quality start against the host Cardinals, coming an out short of that feat. He also took the loss due to his team’s offensive shortage, but he did collect victories in his prior two appearances. He has a home start to open Week 26, where he has been more successful this season. The road contest to wind up the week is not necessarily a must start time in the rotation for one of this scoring period’s Fantasy Baseball 2024 Two-Start Pitchers.
Knack managed a nice comeback to form in his last outing, holding the host Marlins to just two hits over 5.0 IP, shutting them out while notching seven Ks in the victory. He has been better at home this season, so the first outing against the visiting Padre squad projects as the better start to employ his services this week. Pitching on the road at Coors Field, while not necessarily a strongly negative these days, is still not ideal.
Feltner is the final Fantasy Baseball 2024 Two-Start Pitchers being profiled as a middle tier option, and he gets to take on the hurler profiled a paragraph above in the Sunday contest. Both his starts are at home, so given that the Cardinals are below .500 on the road this season, it is his first trip to toe the rubber that projects as his best chance to provide fantasy value. He offers average K production, but his peripheral metrics hint that with a bit of better luck, he could be a useful SP as the season winds to a finish.

Not so many bottom-tier Fantasy Baseball 2024 Two-Start Pitchers this week to avoid when setting your rotations in the final week of the fantasy season. If you are considering using one of these SPs, it is strongly suggested that you take a peek below at some more desirable options to snag off the late-season waiver heap.
Fantasy Baseball 2024 Streaming Starters for Week 26
There is no promise that each game day will provide a streaming option. First of all, the pitcher must be available in at least 50% of leagues to be a viable candidate to snag off the wire. Then, the pitchers discussed above are not included as they have a different sort of value, even though some might be available as free agents in your league. Plus, some days the matchups and/or venues just do not figure as positive enough factors to favor plugging the arm into your rotation, even for one start. That all being said, here are this week’s best Fantasy Baseball 2024 Streaming Starters…
Jakob Junis, Cincinnati Reds vs. Cleveland Guardians
The Cincy right-hander over his last five outings has put up superior numbers: 1.14 ERA, 0.38 WHIP, 18:1 K/BB ratio over 23.2 IP. His last outing was a quality start (QS), to boot. Despite being one of the best Fantasy Baseball 2024 Streaming Starters currently, he has exactly zero decisions to show for his efforts. Perhaps his road start here will change that tendency and add to his four-victory total.
Zack Littell, Tampa Bay Rays at Detroit Tigers
The veteran righthander also collected a QS in his latest time atop the bump, which was also his second consecutive victory. Here he faces a tough opponent on the road, but he has put up superior ratio numbers over his last seven outings: 1.67 ERA, 0.98 WHIP. The downside is the below-average K rate of 6.5 K/9 over those 37.2 IP.
Edward Cabrera, Miami Marlins at Minnesota Twins
Another Fantasy Baseball 2024 Streaming Starters that has been on a nice run, racking up a superb 2.12 ERA and 0.98 WHIP over his last 29.2 IP, with a tantalizing 8.8 K/9 rate during those five starts. He has also been credited with three QS during that stretch. Pitching against the Twins on the road is not ideal, but it is difficult not to like his recent efforts on the hill.
Brady Basso Oakland Athletics vs. Texas Rangers
The rookie southpaw has been spectacular during his short stint on the mound for the A’s, sporting a 2.33 ERA and 1.09 WHIP during his limited 19.1 IP to date (three starts). He aids himself by limiting the free passes (1.9 BB/9) and inducing a fair number of grounders from opposing batters (44.6% GB rate). He is unscored upon at home this year, although to be fair that consists of just a single start.
Joey Cantillo, Cleveland Guardians vs. Cincinnati Reds
The rookie left-hander has been working hard to bring his ERA into a more reasonable level, which now sits at a palatable 4.63, a far cry from the inflated 8.47 ERA he possessed after the Yankees pounded him for seven runs on August 21st at Yankee Stadium. Although he was not able to pitch deep into his last start, getting pulled after 4.1 IP, his ratios over his last three outings were excellent: 1.10 ERA and 0.73 WHIP. The 22:4 K/BB ratio is quite appealing over those 16.1 IP. A home start to complete his trips to the bump in the regular season is a positive factor, too.
Nick Martinez, Cincinnati Reds at Chicago Cubs
The veteran righthander has rolled up three consecutive victories and will be looking for number four when he takes the mound in the Windy City in this contest. He has been touched for just two earned tallies over those three starts and racked up 18 Ks over the 18.2 IP tossed in those contests. His home/road splits scream road warrior so this trip to Wrigley Field plays into his wheelhouse.
Yariel Rodriguez, Toronto Blue Jays vs. Miami Marlins
The Blue Jay rookie righty over the course of September’s three starts to date has allowed just two earned runs and has whiffed 11 opposing hitters over those 12.1 IP. Facing a team that struggles mightily on the road should see him continue his dominance as an emerging Fantasy Baseball 2024 Streaming Starters.
Landen Roupp, San Francisco Giants vs St. Louis Cardinals
The rookie righty has only started a pair of game for the Giants thus far, but has looked solid, allowing just two earned runs over his most recent 10.0 IP. The Cards, his opponent in this contest, are a sub-.500 team on the away from Busch Stadium, a positive for the youngster. Another emerging Fantasy Baseball 2024 Streaming Starters that may be making a pitch to join the Giant rotation when next year rolls around.
Tylor Megill, New York Mets at Milwaukee Brewers
The 29-year-old righty has twirled a pair of consecutive quality starts, and over his most recent 29.1 IP, has racked up a useful 2.76 ERA and 1.02 WHIP. Couple that with 28/9 K:BB ratio over those six appearances and there is plenty of utility for the four-year veteran, whose peripheral metrics hint that better results could be in store for someone you could certainly use as one of your Fantasy Baseball 2024 Streaming Starters in the final week of the season.
Rhett Lowder, Cincinnati Reds at Chicago Cubs
He has but a small sample size to examine, but the 1.74 ERA he has accumulated over his limited 20.2 IP to date is certainly attractive. His strikeout rate is just so-so at 7.4 K/9, and his lack of control in his first two starts hurts his WHIP, but he has been more accurate with his pitches lately, so there is reason to believe he provides value as a streaming option in Week 26.
Andrew Heaney, Texas Rangers at Los Angeles Angels
If you are seeking a final day of the season SP to plug in for some final counting stats, then the veteran southpaw may be just what you are seeking to wind up your selections of Fantasy Baseball 2024 Streaming Starters. He offers better than a K per frame strikeout potential and exhibits better than average control while toiling on the hill (2.4 BB/9 through his 150.1 IP to date this season). Facing the Angels is not exactly a daunting task, either.
