2024 Player Outlook

2023 Recap: Littell began the season as a reliever for the Boston Red Sox who eventually released him. The Rays took a chance, worked their magic on him and Littell eventually joined their starting rotation. As a starter, which included some outings as an opener, Littell had a 3.41 ERA and a 1.051 WHIP, but just a 7.1 K/9. He walked just five batters in 71.1 IP as a starter. As a reliever Littell pitched to a 6.75 ERA, a 1.661 WHIP and posted an 8.7 K/9. 

2024 Outlook: Littell is coming off a career year in which he pitched a career high 90 innings. We need to question whether he can replicate last season's success while throwing upwards of 140 innings. With five good pitches, but without a true out pitch we should expect to see some regression.
