You did it. You made it. If your league is set up like we typically suggest, you only have two more games left to claim the throne. Hopefully you won’t need these fantasy football streamers this week.

But they’re more important than ever for the folks that do. We hit on the players under 50% rostered but we’ll include some deeper options as well for the sickos out there.

Fantasy Football Streamers For 2024 NFL Week 16

This article works in conjunction with our Waiver Wire Adds and Stashes articles.

The Week 16 waiver wire article includes the best players to pick up in general - they have both short-term and long-term upside. But they might not be available, or you might get outbid. In our Week 16 stashes article, we look at longer term options. But those aren’t guys you can necessarily start this week.

The fantasy football streamers article is this one - guys that you can reasonably acquire off the wire AND potentially start this week.

We know that folks play in varying league depths so we’ll include any players that MIGHT be available (especially for really good matchups). And we’ll throw some honorable mentions in there for the really deep leagues. So, let’s dig into the Week 16 Fantasy Football Streamers!

Fantasy Football QB Streamers

Aaron Rodgers - New York JetsYahoo: 35% | ESPN: 15% | Sleeper: 37%

The Rams have been a shootout factory lately. And Aaron Rodgers seems to have just recently realized that he’s fighting for not only his job but his spot in this league. Outside of the Cardinals game, Rodgers has been fairly reliable. And his connection with Davante Adams looked as strong as ever this week.

Drake Maye - New England PatriotsYahoo: 13% | ESPN: 16% | Sleeper: 24%

Mobile quarterbacks not only offer a decent floor, but they have the upside for crazy games as well. Look at Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson the last couple weeks. Drake Maye is still a rookie and he doesn’t have the team around them that they have but it wouldn’t be crazy for him to put together a three touchdown game if he can score one or two on the ground. It was obviously against tougher offenses, but the Bills have allowed 40 points in back-to-back weeks. It’s not crazy for the Patriots to score 20.

Fantasy Football RB Streamers

Jerome Ford, CLE, RB or Kendre Miller, NO, RB

Check the main write up for these guys. They are going to be the top waiver adds and top streaming options if you can get them.

Alexander Mattison - Las Vegas RaidersYahoo: 37% | ESPN: 38% | Sleeper: 44%

Sincere McCormick was named the starter by head coach Antonio Pierce. And then he promptly rolled his ankle and left their Monday Night Game. If he’s out, Alexander Mattison will start and he’s the best bet for production. If McCormick is cleared to play, he remains the best bet.

Tyler Allegeier - Atlanta FalconsYahoo: 33% | ESPN: 38% | Sleeper: 40%

Allgeier is the kind of guy that is always there if you need him. The upside isn’t high unless Bijan Robinson gets hurt mid game. And he doesn’t really catch passes. But he always gets some carries and he’s a threat to punch one in any given week. In his last three games he’s gotten 8, 9, and 12 carries.

Kimani Vidal - Los Angeles Chargers Yahoo: 12% | ESPN: 15% | Sleeper: 21%

Despite not getting a ton of touches, Vidal actually out snapped Gus Edwards as he had a 67% snap share this week. Gamescript was certainly a part of it but Gus was been brutally inefficient as of late. They have another tough matchup with Denver so Vidal could see a decent amount of work once again.

Fantasy Football WR Streamers

Brandin Cooks - Dallas CowboysYahoo: 16% | ESPN: 15% | Sleeper: 24%

Check the main article for our top waiver adds. Those guys, like Romeo Doubs, are going to be the better bet if they are out there. Brandin Cooks however is available in a lot more leagues and you could do worse than that in the deeper formats. He’s back to being the fulltime guy opposite CeeDee Lamb and he gets the Buccaneers this week.

Wan’Dale Robinson - New York Giants: 33% | ESPN: 39% | Sleeper: 44%

In full PPR format, Wan’Dale Robinson is probably the best streaming option right now. He’s fairly low aDot and doesn’t offer much in terms of YAC either. But he’s gotten 10 targets over the last few games and, with the team rotating Darius Slayton and Jalin Hatty now, Robinson and Malik Nabers are the clear top two. Theo Johnson is also on IR so that is one less mouth to feed.

Dyami Brown - Washington Commanders: 0% | ESPN: 0% | Sleeper: 2%

If you are looking for a little more high risk, high reward, Dyami Brown might be a play. Noah Brown was put on IR and Dyami Brown played nearly 80% of the snaps in his absence. The floor is low but Brown has hit big plays in the past. And anything is possible with Jayden Daniels at quarterback.

Fantasy Football TE Streamers

Brenton Strange - Jacksonville Jaguars: Yahoo: 2% | ESPN: 2% | Sleeper: 7%

It’s close between Strange and Smartt but, as we laid out in the main article, Strange has a far better matchup. We are talking a top 5 worst defense vs. TE for Strange while Smartt plays arguably the toughest.

Stone Smartt - Los Angeles ChargersYahoo: 5% | ESPN: 2% | Sleeper: 6%

We love the role for Smartt. And we love the quarterback too. But the matchup leaves something to be desired. Still, if Strange is off the table, this is an option.

Fantasy Football K Streamers

Greg Joseph - Washington Commanders, Yahoo: 1% | ESPN: 3% | Sleeper: 1%

Whoever the Washington Commanders kicker is, whether it’s Joseph or Zane Gonzales, is going to be on the radar for us. It’s not the greatest matchup but it’s a good offense and the injury confusion has led both to be on waivers in most leagues.

Brandon McManus - Green Bay Packers, Yahoo: 20% | ESPN: 10% | Sleeper: 15%

It’s a simple equation here. Good team vs. bad team plus widely available kicker = streaming option.

Fantasy Football DST Streamers

Atlanta Falcons DST, Yahoo: 38% | ESPN: 15% | Sleeper: 34%

There are a few teams that are just a complete mess right now. And the Giants are one. The Raiders are another and we recommended you use the Falcons against them last week. They scored over 20 fantasy points. So why not keep the good times rolling?

Indianapolis Colts DST, Yahoo: 22% | ESPN: 12% | Sleeper: 15%

Now is the time of year where eliminated teams experiment with the backup quarterbacks. And usually that’s a bad idea. The Titans are going to wheel out Mason Rudolph this week which makes the Colts a viable streaming option all of a sudden.

  • Honorable Mentions: Bengals vs. CLE, Raiders vs. JAX
