Fantasy Football Streamers & Rankings For Week 13: Drake Maye & More
This week there are no teams on bye for Thanksgiving and then we get hit with another six-team bye week in Week 14.
Luckily, we are built for this exact situation with our Week 13 fantasy football streamers article! It’s weeks like these that separate the contenders from the pretenders so buckle up and let’s earn that playoff spot!
Fantasy Football Streamers For 2024 NFL Week 13
This article works in conjunction with our Waiver Wire Adds and Stashes articles.
The Week 13 waiver wire article includes the best players to pick up in general - they have both short-term and long-term upside. But they might not be available, or you might get outbid. In our Week 13 waiver wire stashes article, we look at longer term options. But those aren’t guys you can necessarily start this week.
The fantasy football streamers article is this one - guys that you can reasonably acquire off the wire AND potentially start this week.
We know that folks play in varying league depths so we’ll include any players that MIGHT be available (especially for really good matchups). And we’ll throw some honorable mentions in there for the really deep leagues. So, let’s dig into the Fantasy Football Streamers for Week 13!
Fantasy Football QB Streamers
Drake Maye - New England Patriots, Yahoo: 19% | ESPN: 22% | Sleeper: 30%
Maye goes on bye in Week 14 so he’s not a guy you can just add and lock in. But he’s got a good matchup against the Colts and another decent one against the Cardinals coming out of the bye. After that you might need to look elsewhere unless he really picks things up. But, for a one week streamer, guys who run the football are always on the table.
Russell Wilson - Denver Broncos, Yahoo: 36% | ESPN: 50% | Sleeper: 44%
With no teams on bye, you hopefully are already rostering someone with a decent matchup. Of the guys out there, Wilson vs. the Bengals is probably the best matchup we are going to get. We’d rather not use guys like Caleb Williams against the Lions or Jameis Winston against Denver if we can avoid it.
The Bengals have been a pretty easy team to throw on so the only real concern here for Russ is this new trend of mixing in Justin Fields in certain situations. If it’s a really deep league where you need someone rostered in like 5-10% of leagues, Bryce Young vs. Tampa Bay is probably your best bet. The team has looked better as of late even if he’s not putting up big fantasy numbers.
- Honorable Mentions: Bryce Young vs. TB, Aaron Rodgers vs. SEA, Will Levis vs. WAS
Fantasy Football RB Streamers
Gus Edwards - Los Angeles Chargers, Yahoo: 26% | ESPN: 24% | Sleeper: 29%
We talked about this one in the main article already, but this one is pretty obvious right? Edwards was already on our radar as a streamer but, with JK Dobbins banged up, now he’s right in the forefront.
Ameer Abdullah - Las Vegas Raiders Yahoo: 25% | ESPN: 19% | Sleeper: 33%
Abdullah could land himself on the streaming radar again with a short week of practice. The Raiders play the Chiefs on Black Friday which could mean another game without Alexander Mattison and Zamir White. Even if one of them is active, Abdullah would presumably retain his pass-catching role which might be the more active role against Kansas City.
Tank Bigsby - Jacksonville Jaguars Yahoo: 39% | ESPN: 33% | Sleeper: 43%
Much like Bucky Irving in Tampa Bay, Tank Bigsby had quietly carved out a role as the more efficient run down asset than Travis Etienne. Unlike Bucky Irving, who is not rostered in north of 75% of leagues on most platforms, an injury stint has made Bigsby available in a lot of leagues.
There is no full confirmation that he will return this week but he did have the bye week to get healthy we are hoping he does. You can even potentially throw him in an IR spot while we wait if his status holds.
- Honorable Mentions: Tyler Allgeier vs. LAC, Jerome Ford vs. DEN, Antonio Gibson vs. IND, Devin Singletary vs. DAL
Fantasy Football WR Streamers
DeMario Douglas - New England Patriots, Yahoo: 31% | ESPN: 29% | Sleeper: 50%
DeMario Douglas has been a valuable streamer for us in PPR leagues and not much has changed there. He doesn’t typically play a full snap share but he has enough first read plays (and only read plays like screens and handoffs) schemed up for him each week to offer a nice floor. His rostership has been creeping up though so folks are catching on.
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine-Ikhine - Tennessee Titans, Yahoo: 12%| ESPN: 8% | Sleeper: 21%
If you play in standard or half PPR, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine-Ikhine might be the option. If Demario Douglas is your part-time, low aDot slot guy, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine-Ikhine is your full-time outside deeper threat. He’s scored touchdowns in six of the last seven making him especially valuable in standard leagues.
Adam Thielen - Carolina Panthers, Yahoo: 25% | ESPN: 28% | Sleeper: 45%
Old reliable. Even in a limited snap share in his first game back, he garnered 4 targets. At this stage in his career, he’s not going to offer much in the YAC department but he’s a reliable possession receiver that will get some looks each week and possibly find the endzone. Which is all we really need. And he has a good matchup this week. He or Xavier Legette are both on the table.
- Honorable Mentions: Devaugn Vele vs. CLE, Xavier Legette vs. TB, Noah Brown vs. TEN, Kayshon Boutte vs. IND
Fantasy Football TE Streamers
Theo Johnson - New England Patriots, Yahoo: 2% | ESPN: 7% | Sleeper: 6%
Again, if you can get one of Jonnu Smith, Hunter Henry, Zach Ertz, or Will Dissly then go there. But they are crossing that 50% margin where they are not available in most leagues. Despite dealing with a back issue, Theo Johnson has managed to play a full workload each week. And he’s caught at least three passes in six of his last seven games. You could do a lot worse than Johnson vs. Dallas.
Noah Gray - Kansas City Chiefs, Yahoo: 4% | ESPN: 2% | Sleeper: 6%
Noah Gray has been a 60% snap share guy going back to last season. They like using him as the inline tight end with Travis Kelce in the slot. As of late he’s been getting a lot more involved in the pass game though and he’s caught for passes and two TD passes in each of his last two games. We were chasing touchdowns but Gray has become more than that and he’s available in fairly deep leagues.
Tommy Tremble - Carolina Panthers, Yahoo: 0% | ESPN: 0% | Sleeper: 0%
Tommy Tremble is not the best pass-catching tight end on this team. But he’s essentially the only healthy tight end on the team. Ian Thomas is already on IR. And Ja’Tavion Sanders was taken to the hospital with a neck injury. We don’t yet know the severity but, barring them signing Greg Dulcich and getting him up to speed incredibly quickly, Tremble is looking at a huge workload.
- Honorable Mentions: Noah Fant vs. NYJ, Tyler Conklin vs. DEN, Juwan Johnson vs. LAR, Mike Gesicki vs. PIT
Fantasy Football K Streamers
Evan McPherson - Cincinnati Bengals, Yahoo: 7% | ESPN: 40% | Sleeper: 45%
A tale as old as time. A kicker on a good team has his bye week. He gets dropped to waivers because folks don’t have a roster spot for him. We add him and start him for the rest of the season - because he has already had his bye week. The same thing can be said for Younghoe Koo who was also dropped in a lot of weeks while his team was on bye. And Tyler Bass too, while we’re at it. This is probably the easiest week to stream kicker.
Anders Carlson - New York Jets, Yahoo: 1% | ESPN: 0% | Sleeper: 2%
Greg Zuerlein has straight up lost his team games this year. And Anders Carlson could not have had a better first game, converting 5 of 5 field goals including one from 58. He should be the guy for the rest of the season and their schedule is actually pretty decent.
As long as they can keep the wheels from falling off. If you are in some sort of strange league like the Scott Fish Bowl where a lot of kickers are rostered, this one is out there in virtually every league.
- Honorable Mentions: Spencer Shrader vs. LV, Chase McLaughlin vs. CAR
Fantasy Football DST Streamers
Dallas Cowboys DST, Yahoo: 30% | ESPN: 16% | Sleeper: 19%
Micah Parsons was flying around this weekend with 8 combined tackle and 2 sacks. DaRon Bland is back. Hopefully Trevon Diggs will be a go as well. But it’s not so much about the Cowboys defense themselves but who they are playing. The New York Giants released their starting quarterback completely from the roster. That is a team we want to target.
Indianapolis Colts DST, Yahoo: 11% | ESPN: 8% | Sleeper: 5%
We have to separate the hopefulness of Drake Maye as a fantasy football quarterback or even a franchise quarterback from the reality of the current Patriots team. This is not a good team. And Drake Maye is still a rookie who is getting sacked and turning the ball over a lot. Maye has 11 turnovers (seven interceptions, five fumbles, four lost) and he hasn’t even started the whole season.
- Honorable Mentions: SEA vs. NYJ, NYG vs. DAL, LAR vs. NO
Make Use Of These Week 13 Fantasy Football Streamers & Good Luck!
In a perfect scenario, your starting team is packed with all-star talent. Your bench would ideally feature a solid mix of high-potential players from our Waiver Wire Article or some deeper stash options. But let’s be real, fantasy football isn’t always perfect.
Sometimes, you just have to grit your teeth and play the guy who gives you the most reliable performance, even if he’s not the most exciting choice. That’s where these fantasy football streamers come into play.
Sure, the breakout players later in the season might be the ones that clinch the championship, but you’ve got to make it to the playoffs first to have a shot at winning it all.
