NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Saturday Playbook

Embiid is out yet again and George is listed questionable. I have interest in Maxey regardless of the status of George, as he gets a great matchup with Indiana. The Pacers play at the 7th fastest pace in the league and rank 21st in DRtg. 

Steph gets the best matchup on the board against a Washington team that ranks 4th in pace and dead last in DRtg. The Wizards also allow the 2nd-most three-pointers made in the league. Curry is coming off seven 3PM in Minnesota and has a great chance to match or exceed that total in this spot. 

Finding a Haliburton ceiling game has been one of the tougher things to predict in the NBA for over a year now, but the ceiling remains enormous when it hits. Decent spot against Philly with Embiid still out. 

Tough matchup in Minnesota, but Garland is posting his highest usage rate (27%) since Donovan Mitchell joined the Cavs. Large-field GPP option if the questionable Evan Mobley plays. Garland becomes more of a priority if Mobley sits, as he has seen a 3.8% bump in usage rate with Mobley off the floor this season. 

Potentially a core play depending on Celtics injury news (Tatum, Porzingis, Horford all questionable). A large-field GPP salary saver if they all play given the Celtics top team total. 

DiVincenzo is out again and Conley did not receive a price bump after drawing the start last night. Buyer beware, as this is a difficult matchup for a grizzled vet on a back-to-back. 

Edwards went off in a difficult matchup against the Knicks last night. He gets another tough spot against the Cavs and is on a back-to-back. I don't love the context, but it is a smaller slate and Ant has one of the highest ceilings. 

The heater continues for Green, as he is now up to five straight games with at least 42 FP. He's been shooting lights out and gets a great matchup with Portland. 

Poole heads back to the Bay Area tonight, where his career began. He has yet to top 30 minutes since returning from an injury, so he is a large-field GPP option only. 

Jerami Grant (questionable) has a chance to return and the matchup is a tough one in Houston, so Sharpe is a large-field only play. He could still find a ceiling performance at his mid-range price tag despite those factors working against him, and I am much more interested if Grant sits again. 

Salary saver in an elite matchup. Schroder has been shooting better lately after big-time struggles when he initially arrived in Golden State. 

Salary saver in an elite matchup. Minutes have been trending in the right direction for Buddy, but it remains to be seen if that will continue with Draymond Green set to return. I'm willing to roll the dice given the matchup. 

George has been fantastic over his last three games without Embiid, but he comes with a questionable tag. He gets an excellent matchup against the Pacers and is a great option if he suits up. 

Thompson has been a rebounding machine playing big minutes since the injury to Jabari Smith. The price tag is sky rocketing, but he is still in play given the great matchup against the Blazers. 

Elite pace-up spot against the 2nd-fastest team in the league. Brown becomes a core play if Tatum sits, and he gets a bump if Porzingis sits as well. Brown is a strong play if Boston is full strength, and an elite one if either of his 'mates sit. 

Kuminga remains out, which clears the path for Wiggins to find more minutes. The matchup is as elite as it gets. 

McDaniels has been finding ceiling with more regularity of late, as he has three games with 32+ DK points this month. He has a good chance to play 30 minutes, so he is in play despite the difficult matchup. 

One of the top options on the slate given the elite pace-up spot with the Hawks. He becomes the no doubt top option if Porzingis sits. 

Siakam exploded for his first 50 FP performance in a long while last time out against the Pistons. This is another good spot for him, especially if Paul George joins Embiid in street clothes on the other bench. 

Draymond is set to return tonight after a two game absence, and he comes back to the best matchup on the board. It is TBD if he will see his full allotment of minutes, but he should see at least 25 in his first game back. That's good enough at his price in this matchup. 

Not a good spot for Randle, but I'm still interested with the price tag hovering just above $7K. We have seen 50 FP upside when he is able to access his ceiling. The spot does get a little better if Mobley (questionable) is unable to play. 

Naz could push for 30 minutes in this spot if both of the Cavs bigs are active (Mobley is questionable). He is a strong FP per minute producer, so I am not concerned with the matchup. The DK price is particularly intriguing. 

He has scored at least 50 FP points in three of his last four games. The matchup is excellent against a bad Portland defense. 

Tough matchup against Rudy Gobert and the Wolves. The ceiling is intriguing on a rare slate that isn't that strong at the Center position. He gets a big bump if the questionable Evan Mobley cannot play. 

Draymond Green is expected to return, which impacts the floor and ceiling of TJD, but I think he has played well enough to maintain his recent role. TJD should see mid-20s minutes in the best matchup on the board. 

Great spot for Turner to find a ceiling performance with Joel Embiid still out. Drummond is expected back, but Yabusele is also questionable. Philly may not have a match for Turner on the perimeter if Yabu can't go. He has attempted at least four threes in each of his last eight games, including 11 three-point attempts last game. 

Brutal matchup, but a cheap price tag and a weaker Center position means I still have interest.
