Four of Cleveland’s five starters will sit out Sunday’s regular season finale, with Jarrett Allen being the exception. With the Cavaliers locked into the one-seed in the East, he’s unlikely to see much action after halftime against the Pacers.

Despite having secured the East’s top seed for the playoffs, the Cavaliers went all-out with their four available starters on Friday. Mobley, who did not play in Thursday’s loss to the Pacers, logged 35 minutes and recorded his 36th double-double in the comeback win over New York. He finished the 2023-24 campaign with 22 double-doubles and has benefitted from the Cavaliers making him more of an offensive focal point. Cleveland ends its regular season on Sunday against the Pacers; we’ll see how much Mobley and the other starters play.

With the top seed in the East locked up, the Cavaliers will rest three starters on Thursday, including Mobley. Isaac Okoro and Dean Wade are potential replacements in the lineup. Whichever player receives the nod will have added value in active leagues.
