Trayce Jackson-Davis was selected by the Wizards with the 57th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, and he was sent to Golden State as part of the Chris Paul-Jordan Poole deal.
He doesnâ??t have superstar upside, but TJD projects as a player that can be a role player for 10-15 years. Jackson-Davis may have spent four seasons in college, but he wasnâ??t a slow-developing prospect. Heâ??s slightly undersized for a big, but he averaged 20.9 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks per game as a senior. Heâ??s a win-now draft prospect that should make an impact as a rookie, especially on a Warriors team severely lacking talent and depth at the center position. Following the draft, Warriors G Mike Dunleavy Jr. said that Jackson-Davis will be on the team's 15-man roster.
