Naz Reid and Donte DiVincenzo were ejected from Sunday’s game against the Pistons with 8:36 remaining in the second quarter.
A wild fight broke out with 8:36 remaining in the second quarter, resulting in five players and multiple coaches being ejected. Reid finished two points, two rebounds and one assist in 10 minutes, while DiVincenzo tallied six points, three rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks and two three-pointers in 10 minutes. Jaylen Clark’s minutes will likely increase for the remainder of Sunday’s game, and the question for Week 22 is whether Reid or DiVincenzo will be suspended.
Naz Reid provided a boost off the bench with 20 points (8-of-13 FGs), three rebounds, two assists and three three-pointers against the Pacers on Monday.
Reid’s production has been inconsistent since he was pushed back to the bench. However, when he’s at his best, he can have scoring nights like this in limited minutes. He has scored at least 15 points in three of his last four games and at least 20 points in two of those. Unfortunately, after a three-game week last week, Minnesota only has two more games this week. The schedule has limited Reid’s production more than his on-court play. They have three days off before playing the Suns on Friday.
Naz Reid shot 9-of-16 from the field in Monday’s loss to the Pacers, finishing with 21 points, four rebounds, one steal, one block and three three-pointers in 30 minutes.
Naz Reid amassed 15 points (6-of-13 FGs), four rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 34 minutes in Friday’s win over the Heat.
