The Hawks announced Wednesday that Nance continues progressing in his recovery from a right medial femoral condyle fracture. However, the next update will not be provided until the regular season concludes on April 13. Nance’s absence has freed up minutes for Mouhamed Gueye and Georges Niang. While the former has been in the starting lineup, the latter offers a higher fantasy floor and ceiling.

Nance injured his right knee during Monday’s win over Orlando. On Wednesday, the Hawks announced that he had been diagnosed with a non-displaced right medial femoral condyle fracture. With Clint Capela available, he’ll help absorb many of the minutes that would have gone to Nance. Mouhamed Gueye and Georges Niang may also pick up additional minutes moving forward.

Nance injured his right knee after a foul from Franz Wagner and immediately asked for a sub to come out of the game. He was helped to the locker room by teammates, which isn’t a good sign. He’ll be out for the rest of Monday’s game, but it’s unclear how much time he may or may not miss after this. Mouhamed Gueye should fill out the backup center minutes with Clint Capela still inactive.

Nance did not play in Monday’s loss to Minnesota, which affected multiple players in the Hawks’ rotation. David Roddy started but only played 18 minutes, while Mouhamed Gueye logged 19 off the bench. Neither player is worth keeping for the few adventurous souls who may have streamed them.
