Without further ado, let’s jump into the NFL DFS Week 11 WR Coach, here exclusively at Fantasy Alarm!
NFL DFS Week 11 WR Coach For FanDuel & DraftKings Fantasy
This slate is a rather interesting one to say the least. I actually like a lot of receivers that I have put in the mid-tier more than in the upper tier of the NFL DFS Week 11 WR Coach.
I don’t know what that says about the slate in totality, but it seems very feasible this week to take three mid-tier receivers and save your money to be able to spend up at quarterback, running back, or tight end. As we progress into the season, we continue to have a strong grasp on defensive tendencies, allowing us to find the best plays and values at the wide receiver spot.
Be sure to keep on reading to find out my favorite wide receivers for your Week 11 NFL DFS lineups, and of course, check out who my top wide receiver play of the week is. Your eyes will light up when you see what he’s done to this defense over the years!
NFL Week 11 Wide Receivers
Teams on bye: Cardinals, Panthers, Giants, Buccaneers
Teams not playing on the main slate: Commanders, Eagles, Chargers, Bengals, Texans, and Cowboys
Quick Notes on the slate:
- 4 games with a total of at least 46 points
- Only 2 games with a total of 42 or fewer points
NFL DFS WR Coach Week 10 Results
From the top tier picks last week, Darnell Mooney and Deebo Samuel put up respectable numbers, while DeVonta Smith and Garrett Wilson underwhelmed.
The mid-tier was highlighted by Courtland Sutton and Josh Downs, but brought down a bit by Jordan Addison and Brian Thomas
The value tier had a few misses, but Calvin Ridley was the WR2 on the main slate!
Fading CeeDee Lamb was the right call, and Sam Darnold’s struggles against Jacksonville brought down Justin Jefferson.
NFL DFS WR Top Tier Picks For Week 11
Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions - DraftKings: $8,000 | FanDuel: $9,200
I know the ceiling doesn’t seem as high for St. Brown as it was in 2023, but it’s hard to ignore the fact that he’s scored a touchdown in seven straight games, has 6+ catches in three of his last four, and draws a great matchup against a Jacksonville defense that has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season.
Coming off a Sunday Night Football game where Jared Goff threw five interceptions, expect Detroit to let the passing attack regain some confidence, and who better to do so against than Jacksonville? St. Brown is a rock-solid, safe option for cash games in Week 11.
Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams - DraftKings: $7,300 | FanDuel: $8,300
In the two games where Nacua played at least 50 percent of the snaps, he has been the WR1 when facing man coverage. In Week 11, the Rams will play a man-heavy New England defense, and in Weeks 8 and 10 (the two games where Nacua played in at least 50% of the snaps), Nacua has a 38.5 percent target share, 5.25 yards per route run run (Y/RR), and 40 percent first read rate, per Fantasy Points’ Data Suite.
Overall, Nacua has 23 targets in those two games, and he’s coming off a massive 14 target game against the Dolphins in Week 10! Cooper Kupp moves the chains, but Nacua gets downfield more, and in theory, he’s only getting healthier.
Garrett Wilson, New York Jets - DraftKings: $7,100 | FanDuel: $8,100
While this Jets offense appears to be broken, outside of the second half against Houston a couple of weeks ago, the offense is clearly funneled through three players, and we can reliably bank on that. Perimeter wide receivers have given the Colts fits all year, and since Davante Adams has joined the Jets, he’s handled more of the slot work, but been outperformed by Wilson.
Indy loves to play man coverage, and in the three games Wilson and Adams have played together, guess who has produced more on the perimeter? Wilson. Guess who Aaron Rodgers has a higher passer rating when targeting on the perimeter? Wilson (107.7 when targeting Wilson, 55.6 when targeting Adams), per Pro Football Focus (PFF).
The Colts have allowed the 10th-most yards to wide receivers over the last four weeks, and the 12th-most fantasy points per game to the position for the entire season. Wilson > Adams.
George Pickens, Pittsburgh Steelers - DraftKings: $7,000 | FanDuel: $7,500
Pickens has put up 20+ DK points in two of his last three games, and with Russell Wilson under center, he has at least four receptions, five targets, and 74 yards in each game. Pickens will continue to operate as the lead pass catcher for this Pittsburgh offense, and this week, he draws the Baltimore Ravens, the team that has allowed the most fantasy points per game to wide receivers over the last four weeks.
Per Fantasy Points’ Data Suite, with Wilson under center, Pickens has handled a sizable 24.4 percent target share, 41.3 percent of the team’s air yards, and a 34.5 percent first read rate. Alpha usage. Great matchup. What isn’t there to like?
NFL DFS WR Mid-Tier Picks For NFL Week 11
Calvin Ridley, Tennessee Titans - DraftKings: $6,200 | FanDuel: $6,400
Minnesota’s secondary has been better in recent weeks, allowing the 12th-most fantasy points per game to receivers over the last four weeks, but for the entire 2024 season, they’ve allowed the third-most. It’s tough to run on Minnesota’s defense, forcing opponents to throw more, and that should be the case this week yet again.
Will Levis returned under center in Week 10, and Ridley caught five passes for 84 yards and two touchdowns. He’s the clear-cut WR1 for this offense, and he’s seen elite usage, regardless of which volatile quarterback Tennessee trots out there. It’s a decent matchup for Ridley, and like last week, he remains too cheap for a guy that has a 33.3 percent target share over the last four weeks with 8+ targets in five straight games.
Jameson Williams, Detroit Lions - DraftKings: $5,800 | FanDuel: $6,300
I said it with St. Brown, and I’ll say it here with Williams. Expect Detroit to let Jared Goff cook a little bit after throwing five interceptions on Sunday Night Football. Williams stands to benefit, especially if Sam LaPorta is out or limited. In his first game back from suspension, Williams caught three of five targets for 53 yards, but handled 47.1 percent of the team’s air yards, per Fantasy Points’ Data Suite.
Jacksonville has handed out fantasy points like candy to opposing receivers all year long, and if the Jaguars stay with a man-heavy approach, Williams will wreak havoc on them (4.34 Y/RR and 158.3 passer rating when targeted vs. man coverage, per PFF) for a long touchdown, or two.
Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos - DraftKings: $5,900 | FanDuel: $6,800
The Falcons are just outside the bottom five in terms of receptions allowed to perimeter receivers, and Sutton has at least six catches, nine targets, and 70 receiving yards in three straight games.
He’s clearly Bo Nix’s top target, and against zone coverage, Sutton continues to reign supreme, posting 13.6 yards per reception and leading the team overall across the board in the primary receiving categories, per PFF. Over the last four weeks, the Falcons have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers, and rank in the bottom 10 in receptions and receiving yards to the position.
Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens - DraftKings: $6,900 | FanDuel: $7,600
Flowers won’t completely avoid Joey Porter, but he’ll avoid him enough, and that’s good enough for me. Beanie Bishop has been playing well of late, but I’ll still take my chances with Flowers. If the Pittsburgh offense can put up points, Baltimore will be forced to throw, and Flowers is averaging eight targets per game over the last three weeks.
Pittsburgh also likes to play zone defense more than two-thirds of the time, and guess who leads Baltimore in targets, catches, and receiving yards against zone coverage, per PFF? You guessed it, Mr. Flowers! Yes, the Steelers haven’t allowed a receiving touchdown to a wide receiver over the last four weeks, but during that run, they’ve faced Aidan O’Connell, Aaron Rodgers and the broken Jets offense, Daniel Jones, and Jayden Daniels. Do with that what you will.
Darnell Mooney, Atlanta Falcons - DraftKings: $6,600 | FanDuel: $7,000
11/15 UPDATE: Mooney popped up on the injury report with an Achilles issue, but for now, I don't expect it to be a major issue for Sunday's game against Denver.
We’ve had success in recent weeks looking at slot receivers against Denver, because Patrick Surtain doesn’t travel much into the slot. Well, while Mooney does play on the perimeter, he logged a season-high 39 snaps out of the slot last week upon Drake London’s return, per PFF.
Over the last four weeks, Ja’Quan McMillian, Denver’s slot corner, has allowed an 88.2 percent reception percentage and 117.4 passer rating when targeted, per PFF. Mooney has terrorized man coverage this season, to the tune of 18.3 yards per reception and 2.62 Y/RR, per PFF, and he’s set to terrorize Denver’s man-heavy defense, especially when a good chunk of his snaps will come away from the clamps of Surtain.
NFL Week 11 DFS WR Value Picks
Jauan Jennings, San Francisco 49ers - DraftKings: $5,300 | FanDuel: $6,200
11/15 UPDATE: Jennings showed up on the injury report with his ankle injury, but I'm not overly concerned.
While Jennings isn’t my favorite San Francisco receiver this week, he does warrant consideration in this juicy matchup against the Seahawks. The Seahawks have allowed the second-most fantasy points per game over the last four weeks, and in Jennings’ return to action, he led the team in Week 10 in targets (11), receptions (7), and receiving yards (93).
Per Fantasy Points’ Data Suite, he led the way with a dominant 38.5 percent first read rate, not to mention a healthy 2.58 Y/RR. I expect San Fran to put up some points in this contest, and Jennings is going to be heavily involved.
Cedric Tillman, Cleveland Browns - DraftKings: $5,300 | FanDuel: $6,500
The Saints are about league average in terms of fantasy points per game allowed to wide receivers, but they no longer have Marshon Lattimore, and I like Cleveland to put some points on the board in this one. Jameis Winston has 40+ pass attempts in each of his two starts this season, and in those two starts, Tillman has caught 13 of 20 targets for 174 yards and three touchdowns!
Also, the Saints love to play man coverage, and with Winston under center, he has a 157.4 passer rating when targeting Tillman in man coverage, per PFF, and Tillman has a 3.74 Y/RR against man coverage the past two games. Tillman’s magical fantasy run should continue, and his success against man coverage this year should loom large for the Cleveland pass attack against New Orleans.
Devaughn Vele, Denver Broncos - DraftKings: $3,900 | FanDuel: $5,200
Bo Nix is getting the job done, and Atlanta’s zone-heavy defense stands to benefit Vele. In the six games Vele has appeared in this year, he leads the Broncos in receptions against zone coverage, and trails only Courtland Sutton in targets, per PFF. Furthermore, he’s caught 88.9 percent of his targets against zone coverage, with 1.91 yards per route run.
Oh, he also draws Dee Alford, who has allowed the most receptions in slot coverage this year, the fourth-most yards overall, and he’s been the most targeted slot corner over the last four weeks, per PFF. Vele’s ceiling isn’t very high, but as a dart throw receiver at a low cost, I like his outlook to give us a quality return on investment.
NFL DFS WR Fades For Week 11
Xavier Worthy, Kansas City Chiefs - DraftKings: $5,600 | FanDuel: $6,000
I know this game is going to be exciting, but don’t look to Worthy this week. The connection isn’t there with Patrick Mahomes, and when all else fails, Mahomes defaults to Travis Kelce and DeAndre Hopkins. Worthy has just six targets for one total yard over the last two weeks. Buffalo plays a lot of zone, and in his rookie campaign, Worthy has 0.88 Y/RR against zone coverage, per PFF.
Oh, when facing zone coverage the last two weeks, the targets have been highly concentrated to Kelce (18), and Hopkins (8). We can’t trust Worthy, and this game may not be as much of a shootout as many hope, as Kansas City has played in just two games this year where the game surpassed 50 points (Week 2 vs. Cincinnati & Week 9 vs. Tampa Bay).
NFL Week 11 WR Play Of The Week
Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers - DraftKings: $6,800 | FanDuel: $8,200
Samuel was productive in Week 10, totaling 76 yards on eight touches (5 receptions, 3 carries), but it wasn’t a very big fantasy day. However, expect something a little different in Week 11 against the Seahawks in a divisional showdown. Samuel’s biggest fantasy output this season came against Seattle earlier this year, and to be frank, he owns Seattle.
In eight career games (incl. playoffs) against the NFC west foe, Samuel has at least 90 total yards in all eight games, 100+ receiving yards in six of eight, and a total of eight touchdowns. He owns this defense, and over the last four weeks, only the Ravens have allowed more fantasy points per game to wideouts than the Seahawks.
