NFL DFS Week 10 QB Coach: Jalen Hurts, Josh Allen, Sam Darnold

Week 10 of the NFL season has arrived and we are back to the 10 game main slate on DraftKings and 11 game main slate on FanDuel.

With byes this week we see Jameis Winston, Jordan Love, Geno Smith and whoever is playing QB for the Raiders off this week.

Week 9 was a pretty interesting week in fantasy football and Week 10 is shaping up to be even better as we have some top tier QB's in some really great spots to take advantage of, notably, the cover player Josh Allen who draws a great matchup against the Indianapolis Colts this weekend.

As with every week, this week, we once again look to take advantage of some top matchups for our NFL DFS Week 10 QB coach as I bring you my NFL DFS Week 10 QB coach top targets, values and fades to build your lineups around this weekend.

NFL DFS Week 9 QB Coach Recap

Lotta green in the top tier section last week which is exactly what you want to see when you are paying up for the QB position. Joe Burrow was the #1 QB in DFS last week after torching the Las Vegas Raiders for five touchdown passes.

Jalen Hurts was only a few points behind him as he threw for 230 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 67 yards and a score against the Jaguars.

For the low, we saw Dak Prescott struggle and then get injured as one of the higher rostered players on the slate.

Jameis Winston also struggled mightily, throwing three interceptions.

We nailed our fade with Derek Carr, despite his cheap price and elite matchup against the Panthers, as he finished as QB17 overall.

NFL DFS Week 10 QB Coach For FanDuel & DraftKings Fantasy

Week 10 of the fantasy football season has some key QB matchups to target, especially in the matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts where Buffalo is favored by four-points on the road with a 47.5 game total.

The highest game total on the slate belongs to the matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the 49ers sitting as six-point road favorites with a game total of 50.5. 

NFL DFS QB Top Tier Picks For Week 10

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles - DraftKings: $7,800 | FanDuel: $9,400

The Dallas defense has been in shambles all season long and now their offense is taking a big hit with Dak Prescott likely landing on IR and Ceedee Lamb uncertain to play as well. What this means is the Eagles defense likely setting the Eagles offense up for some short fields and more opportunities to score. Hurts always has the ceiling to be the highest scoring QB on the slate thanks to his rushing touchdown upside.

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills - DraftKings: $7,700 | FanDuel: $9,200

Cover of the QB coach this week. Sure, Amari Cooper was a surprising absence from the lineup last week but that did little to actually stop Allen from scoring fantasy points as he threw for three touchdowns against the Dolphins. This weekend he gets to face off against a Colts defense in a dome with hopes that Amari Cooper will be good enough to take the field. Though the running game hasn't been as big of a part of Allen's upside this season, we do know that he's a threat to take it himself when in the red zone.

NFL DFS QB Mid-Tier Picks For NFL Week 10

Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers - DraftKings: $6,500 | FanDuel: $8,100

Fresh off of a bye week and could be getting Christian McCaffrey back this week. The Buccaneers defense has really struggled against the pass this season and Purdy has been solid throwing the football while even adding a little value of his own in the running game.  With the offense around him getting healthier this feels like a great spot.

Kirk Cousins, Atlanta Falcons - DraftKings: $6,700 | FanDuel: $7,400

The Saints traded away Marshon Lattimore at the trade deadline which weakens an already weak secondary. Sure, we don't know if Drake London is going to play this week with the hip injury that forced him from the Falcons Week 9 contest but Cousins still made due with touchdowns to Darnell Mooney and Ray-Ray McCloud.  This matchup agaisnt the Saints is setting up to be another game with multiple touchdown passes from Cousins.

NFL Week 10 DFS QB Value Picks

Aaron Rodgers, New York Jets - DraftKings: $5,700 | FanDuel: $7,100

Rodgers has finished with at least 17 fantasy points in three of the last four weeks and at his price point, specifically on DraftKings that is a pretty damn good return. In Week 9 he completed nearly 69% of his passes for 211 yards and three touchdowns. He finally connected with Davante Adams and Garrett Wilson has continued to be a stud. The Cardinals defense is nothing special and getting to play in a dome could be beneficial for this offense as well as it allows for their skill position players to play without the potential elemental interference. 

Drake Maye, New England Patriots - DraftKings: $5,800 | FanDuel: $6,800

This one is purely based off of the rushing upside as Maye nearly ran for 100-yards last week against a really tough Titans defense.

Yes, the Bears defense is really good as well but if Maye can limit turnovers, rush for 50+ yards and throw for a touchdown he will pay off the price tag.

NFL DFS QB Fades For Week 10

Derek Carr, New Orleans Saints - DraftKings: $5,600 | FanDuel: $6,700

No reason to change anything here. The price got cheaper, the matchup against the Falcons is decent but Carr didn't look good last week and now will not have Chris Olave available to him either. No thanks.

NFL Week 10 QB Play Of The Week

Sam Darnold, Minnesota Vikings - DraftKings: $6,200 | FanDuel: $7,800

Any time we can pick on the Jacksonville Jaguars we should do so and that is the matchup the Vikings have in Week 10. Things are getting worse for Jacksonville as well as it is looking like Trevor Lawrence will be out of the lineup due to injury and Mac Jones will be stepping in. The Vikings defense could be putting the Vikings offense in position to score some points this week with favorable field position.
