With six teams on bye this week, it’s a stashers paradise. Few folks have a good enough record to stash in the first place and a lot of panicky managers will be dropping guys they’ve been holding onto.

This might be the best opportunity for us to sneak some good names onto the back end of our roster and set ourselves up for glory. So, let’s dive into the best fantasy football stash options out there! And make sure you circle back AFTER waivers to see who might have been dropped!

Best Fantasy Football Stashes For Week 13

We are ideally going to look at players that are rostered in less than 50% of leagues on Yahoo, ESPN or Sleeper Fantasy as those are the guys that are generally actually available.

We know there are leagues of varying sizes and depths, so we’ll try to cover our bases. And we’ll obviously let you know what it is that makes these players the best fantasy football stashes in Week 13. So, let’s dive in!

NFL Week 13 Quarterback Stashes

Will Levis - Tennessee TitansYahoo: 12% | ESPN: 4% | Sleeper: 18%

We’ve mentioned this player a few times now because of his schedule. And that hasn’t changed. Washington isn’t an easy matchup this week but the Jaguars, Bengals, Colts, Jaguars to wrap things up is. Levis has actually been pretty decent the last few weeks in fantasy and he could surprise some people down the stretch here.

Drew Lock, QB, New York GiantsYahoo: 0% | ESPN: 0% | Sleeper: 2%

We wrote about Lock last week. And, whether you think them going with Tommy DeVito is contract related, it’s them tanking, or it’s them trying to appease the fans, we saw definitively this week that it’s not about who is the better quarterback.

We saw Lock a couple of times last year for Seattle and it looked better than that, he even won a game. The schedule for the Giants is arguably better than the one for the Titans so we’re hoping they do the right thing.

Trey Lance, QB, Dallas CowboysYahoo: 0% | ESPN: 0% | Sleeper: 2%

This one doesn’t really require much explanation. Trey Lance offers mobile upside. That’s it. And, honestly, it’s worth it in most formats, especially superflex or two QB leagues. Cooper Rush is not getting it done and he’s clearly not the future so it’s time for them to at least see what Trey Lance can do. In the small sample size of games, he’s been willing to take off and run on over 15% of his snaps.

NFL Week 13 Running Back Stashes

Blake Corum, RB, Los Angeles RamsYahoo: 14%| ESPN: 14% | Sleeper: 20%

Corum was dropped in a few leagues during Byepocalypse and he continues to be the top handcuff stash due to the insane usage of the starter Kyren Williams. He could inherit a massive workload if anything were to happen. But that usage also means that Corum has virtually no standalone value. So he’s a stash only.

Trey Benson - Arizona Cardinals Yahoo: 27% | ESPN: 28% | Sleeper: 35%

The situations for Trey Benson and Blake Corum aren’t identical. With Emari Demercado there, there’s no guarantee Benson takes over a huge workload. But we do know he’d see an increased role. And there are a couple positives for Benson as well.

One is that the schedule is incredible. The other is that James Conner has been one of the most injury prone backs in the league throughout his career. If Conner plays every game this year, it will be his first time ever doing so.

Tank Bigsby - Jacksonville Jaguars Yahoo: 39% | ESPN: 33% | Sleeper: 43%

We talked about this one in the streaming article. He might not be back this week, but we did like his role before he got hurt. And their schedule isn’t too bad here down the stretch, especially if Trevor Lawrence returns. There just aren’t many “lead backs” that hit the waiver wire at this stage in fantasy but that’s the role Tank Bigsby had for awhile there.

NFL Week 13 Wide Receiver Stashes

Xavier Leggette - Carolina PanthersYahoo: 27%| ESPN: 36% | Sleeper: 47%

No one is going to accuse the Carolina Panthers of being good. But, as of late, they have certainly been better. They won two games and then just lost to the Kansas City Chiefs 30-27.

Xavier Legette has been the one consistent player in terms of snaps in this offense and perhaps Adam Thielen returning opens things up a bit. He’s a first round pick playing with a former first overall pick so maybe they can get on the same page down the stretch.

Kayshon Boutte - New England PatriotsYahoo: 4% | ESPN: 3% | Sleeper: 7%

We are playing a similar game here though at a steeper discount. We are hoping that Drake Maye continues to improve the way Bo Nix has improved. Maye obviously got his chance to start later than Nix, after all. And Kayshon Boutte has consistently been his top wide receiver in terms of snaps every week. He has a bye in Week 14 so he’s definitely more of a deep stash.

Marquez Valdez-Scantling - New Orleans SaintsYahoo: 17%| ESPN: 13% | Sleeper: 22%

His snaps have now increased each of the last three weeks. He’s gone from 41% to 55% to 65%. And, operating in the Rashid Shaheed role, he could break off a big play at any time. We prefer to stash him on the bench to see how high this snap share can really go but, if it gets up to 75-80%, now we are talking a full time WR for a team desperate for pass-catchers.

Jalen McMillan - Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Yahoo: 10% | ESPN: 14% | Sleeper: 20%

In the first game back off the bye, both Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan returned to action as the top two outside wide receivers for this team. And though McMillan didn’t get the target we would hope, the role was there. He’s worth stashing to see what his usage and production is like against the Panthers.

If he does well, the Buccaneers actually get the Panthers again during fantasy championship week. They also have matchups vs. the Raiders and Cowboys that could be solid for McMillan - if he’s involved.

NFL Week 13 Tight End Stashes

*For those looking for it, our updated Yin & Yang Tight End chart is in our Week 13 Waiver Wire Article

Ja'Tavion Sanders - Carolina PanthersYahoo: 2% | ESPN: 1% | Sleeper: 8%

All reports so far are that Ja’Tavion Sanders is okay after a scary neck injury. You never want to see that, and I would not be surprised to see him miss some time. It’s a real shame too because he came out and caught three of three passes early in this game.

And that was even with Tommy Tremble back, who had been cutting into his snaps. He’s a good dynasty or deep keeper stash but you might have to let him go if you don’t have an IR spot.

Greg Dulcich - Free Agent, Yahoo: 0% | ESPN: 0% | Sleeper: 0%

Sean Payton has a certain way that he operates. If you are not in, you are out. Brandon McManus was cut after he didn’t go to a “voluntary” practice. He traded away Russell Wilson and Jerry Jeudy. Greg Dulcich ended up as a healthy inactive for multiple weeks on a team devoid of pass-catchers before finally being released.

I would not be shocked to see a team recognize this pattern and give Dulcich a second chance. I mean, Russell Wilson, Jerry Jeudy, and Brandon McManus are all actually doing pretty well as of late.

Why Do We Stash?

Obviously, it would be nice if our entire roster was just chock full of stars. Maybe your lineup is (some of my dynasty leagues certainly are). But, for most of us, there will be holes. That’s why we highlight the Top Waiver Wire Adds each week as well as the Best Streamers to get you by.

The best fantasy football stashes though? These are the guys that win you the title. That came out of the woodworks down the stretch like rookie Odell Beckham. or Amon-Ra St. Brown. And it’s our job to find them BEFORE they break out!
