NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Monday Playbook

It's a 100 minute sample without LeBron James, so it's not much, but Doncic has a staggering 11.6% USG bump up to 46% and is averaging 2.05 FP/min. I mean, that's just insane. Doncic is battling a back injury too, by the way.

SGA was fantastic on Sunday, much like he's been all year long likely on his way to his first MVP award. With everyone in, just base line numbers, SGA has a 35% USG and 1.6 FP/min.

Since telling us he's not sure he should be playing through a shoulder ailment that's sidelined himself a bunch this year, he's looked great offensively. He's now played 35+ minutes in back-to-back games, taken 23+ shots, and 49+ DKP. No surprise to see Morant take the reigns with JJJ out. He has a 33.6% USG and 1.4 FP/min without JJJ.

I like Giddey here and he's been great, but it's definitely worth noting Nikola Vucevic is back, and Vuc is a really solid offensive player and rebounder, so will he take a little away from Giddey? It's possible. Without LaVine and Ball this year, Giddey has a 23% USG and 1.3 FP/min.

This last six game stretch for Stephon Castle has been fantastic and now catches Dallas with basically nobody available. Without Wemby this year, Castle has a 26% USG and averages 1.04 FP/min. He's now played 26+ minutes and 32+ DKP in six straight. Castle's role is great right now.

Dallas is going to be incredibly short-handed, possibly to the point where eight bodies are dressed but they only have seven playing. Dinwiddie is playing horribly right now, but he should play a LOT here, especially if Brandon Williams is out.

I fully expect Aaron Gordon to sit here and we should see Westbrook starting again. Without Gordon this year, Westbrook has a 23.6% USG and averages 1.17 FP/min. He's really cheap on DK.

Another price play at PG that I REALLY like. Will the minutes be there? I'm not entirely sure, but with everyone that's out isn't out there, DLo has a 28.6% USG and averages 1.26 FP/min.

Booker's solid here. He has a ceiling. It's a massive pace up spot for PHX. Booker on the year has a 29.5% USG and averages 1.18 FP/min. Best suited for GPPs.

Bane's one of the better plays of the slate, especially if Memphis is short-handed again. Without JJJ and Marcus Smart this year, Bane has a 24.6% USG and averages 1.3 FP/min. Santi Aldama, Luke Kennard and Vince Williams are all questionable to play too.

Per dollar, you could make a case that Austin Reaves is one of the best plays on the board based on the numbers without LeBron, AD, and DLo. He gets an 11.4% USG bump up to 35% USG and averages 1.5 FP/min.

Christie is likely going to be 1 of 8 active players, and possibly 1 of 7 players that actually play. Simply because of that, he's in play because we could possibly see him play 40 minutes.

Walker IV is going to be super chalk and he's really solid now that Tyrese Maxey has been ruled out. Walker's played 28 minutes or more in 3 of 4 and had 24+ DKP in each of those games. He's 3.6K on DK and if that's the production he puts up, he's a must own at his ownership + production.

I'm not fading a chalk Naji Marshall today. I'm just not. Marshall has been the best player on the floor for the Mavericks the last two games while topping 40 minutes last time out. He's notched a 25% USG or better in three straight, has back-to-back double-doubles and had 34-10-9 last time out.

Klay Thompson has really flashed a high ceiling with everyone out. He has a massive 29% USG (+6.5% USG bump) and is averaging 1.02 FP/min. Dallas is going to be really short-handed here and Thompson's forced into 30 minutes or so.

Brooklyn faces a pretty short-handed Lakers team here and Johnson's cheap. He sees a 2.6% USG bump without Thomas and Watford up to 25.8% and averages .96 FP/min to boot.

Without Bradley Beal this year, Durant has a 31% USG and averages 1.29 FP/min this year, both lead the team. It's a massive pace up spot for Phoenix and the 244.5 implied points leads the slate.

Without Aaron Gordon, MPJ has a 20.5% USG and averages .98 FP/min and has 40 minute upside. Not to mention Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray are now questionable.

Without Amen Thompson this year, Tari Eason has been a DOG. He's averaging 1.2 FP/min without him, which is second on the team for anyone that's played legitimate minutes. The spot isn't great, but this isn't the same Magic defense we've grown to know it to be.

George is a solid option at 5.3K on DK. Washington is down a LOT of pieces and George sits at a .9 FP/min.

If Clarke suits up, I'm interested, he just needs to stay out of foul trouble. That's what happened on Sunday so it's hard to say that'll happen here again, but we know Santi Aldama, JJJ, and Kennard are out again.

Nikola Jokic hurt his elbow early in that game on Sunday and played through it. The guy is a 1.9 FP/min player this year and if he plays, OKC will have a hard time containing him for a second straight game.

You'll never have to talk me into play Okongwu. I love playing this guy. He's a ball of FP magic, well over 1.1 this season, especially without Jalen Johnson this season.

I absolutely love Alex Sarr in this spot today. We could potentially see a ceiling minutes game out of Sarr and we've seen him over 1 FP/min. He's just 5.6K and Richaun Holmes, who's the backup to Sarr, is out as well.

Washington bleeds fantasy points to opposing centers and with Jakob Poeltl out, we should see Orlando Robinson start. He'll split time with Collin Castleton, but I like Robinson's price as a starter here.

Philly has punted, finally. I like Bona and his role yesterday could be a preview for tonight and beyond. Andre Drummond is questionable, so that's obviously big news, but if he doesn't play, Bona could even start. Even if he doesn't, Nick Nurse told us he's going to scale Guerschon Yabusele and Kelly Oubre Jr.'s minutes.
