Shai Gilgeous-Alexander shot 12-of-26 from the field and 7-of-9 from the foul line in Monday’s Game 1 loss to the Nuggets, scoring 33 points with 10 rebounds, eight assists, two steals, one block and two three-pointers in 40 minutes.

Gilgeous-Alexander had a big night at the office, recording a complete stat line and surpassing the 30-point mark for the third straight game. Unfortunately for him and the Thunder, the MVP favorite’s performance was not good enough to get Oklahoma City the victory. While SGA has not been a prolific three-point shooter, he’s struggled during the postseason. After shooting 7-of-28 from beyond the arc in four games against the Grizzlies, he was only 2-of-6 in Monday’s series opener. Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder will attempt to even the series at one game all on Wednesday.

After being held in check during Game 1, Gilgeous-Alexander steadily found his groove as the Thunder swept the Grizzlies. Three-point shooting remains an issue, as he was 1-of-4 on Saturday, but the MVP candidate was at his best in the mid-range. Add in 13 free throw attempts, and the Grizzlies were unable to slow down Gilgeous-Alexander. Next up for Oklahoma City is the winner of the Denver/LA Clippers series.

Give the Grizzlies credit for making Gilgeous-Alexander work for his points, but he had his best game of the series on Thursday. Three-point shooting has been an issue through the first three games, with SGA being 6-of-24, but he was 9-of-9 from the foul line in Game 3 to boost the point total. Add in the other stats, and this was a good night to have Gilgeous-Alexander in your playoff DFS lineups. Game 4 is scheduled for Saturday afternoon, with the Thunder aiming to complete the sweep.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished Tuesday’s Game 2 win over the Grizzlies with 27 points (10-of-29 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and three three-pointers in 38 minutes.

As was the case in Sunday’s series opener, the Grizzlies managed to make Gilgeous-Alexander work for his looks in Game 2. The MVP candidate shot below 40 percent from the field in both games, something he did not do at all during the regular season. The good news for Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder was that he was more productive on Tuesday, and Oklahoma City’s depth once again carried the day. The Thunder have won the first two games by a combined 70 points, the second-largest margin in the first two games of a series in NBA playoff history. Oklahoma City will look to take a 3-0 lead when the series shifts to Memphis on Thursday.
