Agbaji got off to a scorching hot start to Friday’s game and scored 17 points in the first quarter alone while shooting a perfect 6-of-6 from the floor, which included five three-pointers. Unfortunately, he didn’t do much over the final three quarters to add to his spectacular start. This tied his season-high for both points and three-pointers, both of which were set in a late-November win over the Pelicans. Agbaji has been in and out of the lineup recently, so his status for Sunday’s finale in San Antonio is unclear.

Agbaji and Shead were held out of Wednesday’s win over the Hornets for reasons of rest. With Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett among the players who will not play in Dallas, minutes will not be an issue for Agbaji or Shead. They’re both worth slotting into lineups in active fantasy leagues.

Agbaji has been part of this resting cycle for a while, but this will be Shead’s first rest day. Apparently resting your second-round pick is acceptable now. Toronto’s rotation will continue to be messy, which means AJ Lawson and Jared Rhoden should see extra minutes with Agbaji and Shead out.
