Krejci made the move back into the starting unit in place of Mouhamed Gueye, who wasn’t in the rotation at all on Thursday. Krejci hasn’t been a great fantasy option as a reserve, but when he has started this year, he has been productive. His 14 points were the most that he has had in a game since January, and he was able to provide some value in other categories with the increased opportunity. Atlanta only has one more game with week, but with a four-game week coming up, Krejci could hold some value.

Krejci will replace Mouhamed Gueye in the starting unit, and while Gueye has been a fixture of Atlanta’s starting lineup since before the All-Star break, he hasn’t seen the workload that an NBA starter usually does. Krejci should be closer to typical starters minutes, and he did have an effective stretch as a starter in January, which gives him some upside if he remains in this role.

After missing a month due to a lumbar fracture, Krejci was able to suit up against Philadelphia. It wasn’t a spectacular return to the rotation, but it was encouraging to see him back on the floor. He had been playing well prior to his injury, but with Atlanta’s trade deadline additions all shining, it’s difficult to imagine a scenario where Krejci contributes standard league value consistently, especially when Trae Young and Caris LeVert return to the rotation.
