Pascal Siakam led the Pacers with 24 points (8-of-16 FGs), 11 rebounds, three assists, three steals and two three-pointers in Game 2 against the Bucks on Tuesday.
After a fantastic performance in Game 1, Siakam had another big night on Tuesday. He is averaging 24.5 points, nine rebounds, 2.5 assists, two steals and 2.5 triples per game through the first two games of this series, with the Pacers having won both. Siakam also added a late three-pointer to seal the win for Indiana and make him the team’s leading scorer for the second game in a row. He’ll look to keep that going in Game 3 in Milwaukee on Friday.
Pascal Siakam had 25 points (10-of-15 FGs), seven rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and three three-pointers in the Pacers’ 117-98 victory over the Bucks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Pascal Siakam led the Pacers with 24 points (11-of-19 FGs), 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals and one three-pointer in a 104-98 win over the Wizards on Tuesday.
Following a one-game absence, Siakam came up big in his return to the lineup. If the elbow injury gave him any trouble, it certainly didn’t show in the box score. This was his second-straight game with at least 20 points, which comes after six consecutive games with 15 or fewer points. Indiana is trying to lock up a top-four seed in the East and could still overtake the Knicks as the No. 3 seed, so Siakam will continue to play a significant role over their final three games of the regular season.
Pascal Siakam (elbow) has been upgraded to available to play against the Wizards on Tuesday.
Siakam will be back after missing Sunday’s win over Denver, which means that Obi Toppin will be heading back to the bench. Toppin had 22 points as a starter against the Nuggets, but his upside will be limited in a return to a reserve role. He is still more than capable of putting up big numbers, but he has done it less consistently when coming off the bench.
