Best Odds For A Win

- Shota Imanaga vs Pittsburgh Pirates

- Sonny Gray vs Milwaukee Brewers

MLB DFS Lineups: Core MLB DFS Pitchers
Shota Imanaga, Chicago Cubs
This is my top pitcher for the slate as Imanaga draws a Pirates team that over the last 30 days has the highest strikeout rate in baseball against left-handed pitching at 33.6%. The Pirates also rank 23rd in wOBA and 25th in ISO during that same 30-day stretch.
Charlie Morton, Atlanta Braves
Morton draws the Rockies matchup here today and while the veteran right-hander has shown that he is slowing down a bit, he has pitched pretty well of late and the Rockies are almost always a spot where a pitcher can have a ceiling performance.
Against right-handed pitching away from Coors Field the Rockies rank 28th in wOBA, 20th in ISO and 28th in batting average with a league worst 27.3% strikeout rate.
JP Sears, Oakland Athletics
Sears is rolling right now, posting a 3.07 ERA over his last 10 starts with 55 strikeouts over 61.2 innings pitched.
The Mariners offense has been one that we've picked on a lot this season due to their high strikeout rate and over the last 30 days that hasn't changed all too much as Seattle has the third-highest strikeout rate against left-handed pitching at 28.8% while also ranking 26th in wOBA, 19th in ISO and 29th in batting average.
MLB DFS Lineup Picks: Hitters
Highest Expected Run Totals
- Los Angeles Dodgers vs Griffin Canning
- New York Yankees vs Nathan Eovaldi
- Atlanta Braves vs Bradley Blalock
- Kansas City Royals vs Ben Lively
MLB DFS Lineups: Core MLB DFS Hitters
Willy Adames, SS Milwaukee Brewers
We were all in on Adames on the preview show given his prowess against right-handed pitching when in his home ballpark and today he is not only home against a right-handed pitcher but he is facing a right-handed pitcher in Sonny Gray who has been giving up a lot of home runs, especially when pitching on the road this season.
He is my core plug for my DFS lineups here tonight.
Freddie Freeman, 1B Los Angeles Dodgers
We talked through this one pretty extensively on the preview show this morning. It's not that we don't love Ohtani here tonight but his cost vs what we need from him to pay off that cost can be the difference between a winning lineup and a losing lineup on such a large slate.
With Freeman we have a hot hitter at a discount that is still in an elite matchup.
Lawrence Butler, OF Oakland Athletics
This man just will not hitting after leading off yesterday's game with a home run off of Luis Castillo. Butler is hitting .419 with seven homers over the last 10 games and now gets to face a really struggling George Kirby who has had his troubles this season on the road.
Cubs Catchers
We are 100% on board with punting catcher today and doing so by rostering one of the two Cubs catchers regardless of who is starting as both Miguel Amaya and Christian Bethancourt are both very cheap and both very hot at the plate. Rostering the Cubs catcher here today will go a long way towards spending up at other positions.
