With 10 games on the MLB DFS main slate for Friday, June 7th, there are a LOT of different directions you can look to go. We don't have Coors Field, elite starting pitching or many bad weather spots, so being different on this slate is fairly easy. Names like Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani, Jose Ramirez, and Julio Rodriguez are hitting the diamond and are all in good spots.

MLB Weather Today, 6/7

Seattle Mariners vs. Kansas City Royals

There could be a little issue here with a storm on the radar, but it’s expected to come later in the evening. Pitchers should be fine here.

MLB DFS Lineup Construction Thoughts

There's not a lot going on today, which is nice. Just your standard Friday slate. We don't have many elite pitching options, but we are awaiting some news on top names such as Juan Soto and Corey Seager about the severity of their injuries. There aren't many spots, if any, with much weather to worry about either.

Top Options For Strikeouts

Best Odds For A Win

Core MLB DFS Pitchers

Garrett Crochet, Chicago White Sox

Crochet has a 12 K/9 and a 3.49 ERA with an xERA of 2.19. He faces the Boston Red Sox today and they strike out 28.3% of the time against left-handed pitching, which is 2.5% higher than anyone else in baseball. He’s been dominant lately allowing just four earned runs over his last six starts.

Chris Bassitt, Toronto Blue Jays

We avoid Chris Bassitt when a team has a lefty-dominant lineup and that’s not the case today. They have three projected lefties tonight and they’re Abraham Toro, JJ Bleday, and Seth Brown. Bassitt’s been better lately putting up 16+ DKP in four of five starts and gets a massive park upgrade pitching in Oakland.

Michael King, San Diego Padres

It’s been a nice stretch for King after a rough outing against the Rockies, but he’s pitched well since the start of May. In the six starts since the beginning of May, he has a 2.68 ERA, 26.2% K-rate, and has held his opponents to a .205 AVG. He faces the Arizona Diamondbacks who rank bottom-10 in OPS, wOBA, and wRC+.

Lance Lynn, St. Louis Cardinals

As one of the biggest favorites on the board, Lance Lynn is in a great spot today. He faces the Rockies, who rank in the bottom 10 in OPS, ISO, wOBA, and wRC+ against right-handed pitching. Away from Coors Field, the Rockies are bottom five in all of those categories. They’ve struck out a lot this season posting a 25% K-rate vs. RHP.

Logan Allen, Cleveland Guardians

I really, really like Logan Allen today. He faces a Marlins offense that has been the league’s worst against left-handed pitching posting a sub .600 OPS, sub .100 ISO, and sub-70 wRC+. Outside of one game in Coors lately, he put up 18+ DKP in three straight games and you’re not going to find that type of upside at this price often.

Recommended MLB DFS Hitters

Highest Expected Run Totals

Core MLB DFS Hitters

Jose Ramirez, Cleveland Guardians

Ramirez has been incredible from the start of the season but has been especially good lately. He’s been especially good against left-handed pitching slashing .333/.395/.611 with a .278 ISO and a .422 wOBA. Ramirez is one of the best spends of the day.

Yordan Alvarez, Houston Astros

Lefties have mauled Griffin Canning and unfortunately for the Astros, they don’t have many of them. That said, Yordan Alvarez does exist in the world. He hasn’t been the same old Alvarez this year, but he still has a .844 OPS, .230 ISO, and .362 wOBA against right-handed pitching.

Julio Rodriguez, Seattle Mariners

*looks at how lucky Daniel Lynch has been* Yeah, I like the Mariners today and Rodriguez is at the top of the list. Rodriguez has hit .328 with a .829 OPS and .365 wOBA against left-handed pitching on the year.

Luis Rengifo, Los Angeles Angels

I mean, the guy is hitting .486 against left-handed pitching and has a 1.228 OPS, and .530 wOBA. Insanity. He’s such a threat on the basepaths, too, so I'm very interested at 4.4K on DK.

Paul Goldschmidt & Masyn Winn, St. Louis Cardinals

The Cards leader in OPS against left-handed pitching this season is Mason Winn and he’s really cheap and is likely going to lead off here. Paul Goldschmidt has shown some signs off life over the last 30 days, posting a .784 OPS, .208 ISO, and .342 wOBA. Austin Gomber is due for some regression.

Justin Turner, Toronto Blue Jays

It’s been a pretty up-and-down season for Justin Turner, more down than up lately, but one thing he’s continually done is hit lefties. He’s posted a .558 SLG%, .941 OPS, .209 ISO, and .402 wOBA against them this year.

ADDED - Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, Jason Heyward – I really like the lefty bats against Cody Poteet here.
