What are NBA Best Bets & Player Props?
NBA best bets represent our most assured predictions for the day's games, encompassing various betting options such as game spreads, moneylines, or totals. Player props elevate the analysis by concentrating on specific individual stats, including points, rebounds, or assists. When a prominent player is expected to excel or a supporting player is likely to exceed projections, we will emphasize that advantage. These selections can be viewed as optimal points where statistics, matchups, and opportunities converge.
How to Use Betting Insights for Fantasy and DFS
Our insights into NBA betting extend well beyond traditional sportsbooks; they serve as a valuable resource for fantasy basketball enthusiasts and NBA DFS participants. When we endorse a player to exceed their points or rebounds, it indicates that they are positioned favorably for fantasy performance as well. You can synchronize your DFS lineups with our premier prop bets or avoid high-risk scenarios informed by our evaluations. Savvy bettors and fantasy managers understand that everything is interrelated.

Player News
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports G/F Isaiah Livers has agreed to a two-way contract with the Suns.
Livers has dealt with a variety of injuries since his college days at the University of Michigan. The 26-year-old small forward missed all of last season with a hip injury that required surgery. Provided health, he’ll have the opportunity to work his way into the Suns’ rotation next year.
Brad Stevens told reporters Al Horford’s return is “unlikely.”
Stevens appears to be pointing out the obvious. While Stevens confirmed the Celtics have made an offer to the 39-year-old power forward, it’s no secret that Horford is said to have a robust free agent market and the Celtics remain clouded by uncertainty given Jayson Tatum’s injury. At his age, Horford is more likely to ring-chase somewhere with a better chance of winning the title next year.
Mets activated OF Jesse Winker from the 60-day injured list.
This was hinted at by Mets manager Carlos Mendoza over the weekend and has now come to fruition. With Starling Marte dealing with a knee injury, the Mets could choose to use Winker (oblique) right away as a designated hitter against right-handed pitching. While we don’t yet know what the corresponding move is, we do know that Ronny Mauricio will not be sent down to Triple-A, so that gives him more chances to carve out playing time in 2025.
Dak Prescott (hamstring) said he’s “fully healthy” going into Cowboys training camp.
Prescott, who underwent hamstring surgery after a season-ending injury last fall, said he has one more checkup with the team doctor before getting the green light for a full training camp. It’ll be an important camp for Prescott in his first year under new head coach Brian Schottenheimer, who said last month that Dak is “in the developmental stage” in learning the new offense. Before his Week 9 injury in 2024, Prescott ranked 23rd out of 31 qualifying QBs in accuracy. This year Prescott will finally have a viable No. 2 wideout in George Pickens, who the Cowboys acquired in June. Prescott has been effusive in his praise of Pickens as a deep ball threat who can make the Dallas offense more explosive in 2025.
Mets recalled RHP Alex Carrillo from Triple-A Syracuse.
Carrillo has yet to allow a hit or walk in 5 2/3 innings at Triple-A Syracuse while striking out 10 and flashing a 100 mph fastball. He also had a 4.19 ERA with 30 strikeouts in 19 1/3 innings for Double-A Binghamton before being promoted. The 28-year-old revitalized his career in the independent leagues and was signed out of the Venezuelan Winter League by the Mets after not being in professional baseball since 2019. He will be making his MLB debut if he gets into a game with the Mets.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy confirmed on his radio show that Joey Ortiz will return to the starting lineup on Tuesday.
Murphy had previously said he was “pissed” and wanted Ortiz to “give me his best approach at the plate every day... we’re playing him every day, and he just can’t have lapses at the plate like that.” Since June 1, Ortiz is hitting .263/.311/.424 with four home runs, 20 RBI, and four steals in 31 games. He also has a 16/6 K/BB ratio over that stretch, so the swing decisions don’t seem to be too egregious. Hopefully this doesn’t interrupt the rhythm he was creating at the plate.
