The Sunday night game between the Bengals and Chargers was a real classic, especially with its crazy fourth quarter, while Monday Night Football didn’t quite keep us on the edge of our seats as the Texans easily defeated the Cowboys.
Now, as we head into our NFL Week 12 picks, every game feels crucial, with some teams battling to stay in the playoff hunt and others hoping to improve their draft positions.

NFL Week 12 Early Spread Picks & Predictions
Cowboys vs. Commanders Spread Pick: Sunday, November 24th
I know it’s a lot of points, but the Washington Commanders are in prime position to cover the -10.5 spread against the Cowboys in Week 12, and the stats back up this claim. Washington’s offense has been dynamic with Jayden Daniels at the helm, scoring an average of 28 points per game, which ranks 4th in the NFL.
They also rank 6th in total yards per game, showing a well-rounded attack. Their rushing game in particular is impressive, averaging 148 yards per game, which poses a challenge for a Dallas defense that allows 151 rushing yards per game, the second worst in the league. Meanwhile, the Cowboys are the epitome of the word “struggling”.
They score only 18.7 points per game, placing them 24th, and their offense has been ineffective, especially without Dak Prescott. Dallas' run game is weak, sitting at 31st in both yards per game (81.7) and yards per attempt (3.8). Against a Washington defense that is strong against the pass and ranks 14th in points allowed, it’s hard to envision the Cowboys being able to keep up with the scoring in this one.
Additionally, Washington has the advantage of extra rest and is playing at home, where their playoff hopes are fueling their motivation. With a chance to still win the NFC East title, look for the Commanders to dominate this game and cover the spread.
49ers vs. Packers Spread Pick: Sunday, November 24th
In what should be a fun matchup, the Green Bay Packers should be able to cover the -2.5 spread against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12. My basis on this is mainly due to their home-field advantage and the recent struggles of the 49ers.
The Packers have been strong at Lambeau Field this season per usual, showing a well-balanced offense. They rank 4th in total yards per game at 387.6 and are tied for 8th in scoring, averaging 25 points per game. Their running game stands out, averaging 149.9 yards per game, placing them 4th in the league.
On the other side, the 49ers' defense has been solid but not dominant, and the Packers should be able to sustain drives and capitalize on scoring opportunities. The 49ers haven’t been playing well lately, especially with Brock Purdy now battling an injury, which could impact their passing game.
Although the 49ers have decent offensive stats, their effectiveness relies on maintaining a good rhythm, which has been lacking recently. The Packers need this win to stay competitive in the NFC North against the Lions and Vikings, making this matchup crucial not just for San Fran. The raucous Lambeau crowd will propel the Packers to secure a victory and cover the tight spread.
