How about that Week 10, eh? It was certainly an interesting one as it seemed like almost every game before the 4 PM ET window was a good one.
Then we saw a few blowouts, followed up with a crazy Lions vs. Texans SNF game. The Dolphins were able to defeat the Rams on Monday Night Football to then cap off the slate.
We’re getting to the point where every week matters more, with playoff position important for some and draft pick position important for others. That can make NFL Week 11 picks tough to gauge, but are we scared? Absolutely not!

NFL Week 11 Early Spread Picks & Predictions
Rams vs. Patriots Spread Pick: Sunday, November 17th
I like the Patriots to cover the +5 spread facing the Rams in Week 11 at home, and there are a few reasons to feel optimistic. Playing in Foxborough gives New England a clear edge, especially with rookie quarterback Drake Maye already flashing his potential.
Maye has been effective in keeping New England competitive, and his gamer-mentality could make a difference against a Rams defense that has not been very strong this season, allowing an average of 24.1 points per game. The Rams, after a lackluster performance in Week 10, might find it hard to generate the energy needed for a bounce back win.
Offensively, Los Angeles is ranked 20th in points per game and has struggled with their running game, averaging just 3.8 yards per carry. On the other hand, the Patriots' defense is among the top half of the league for yards allowed per play and points allowed per game, indicating they can handle even more effective offenses.
If New England's defense can limit the Rams' average passing attack, which is only at 7 yards per attempt, Maye and the Patriots have a good chance to cover the spread or even pull off an upset.
Chiefs vs. Bills Spread Pick: Sunday, November 17th
The Bills should have a good chance to cover the -2.5 spread at home against the undefeated Chiefs in Week 11. Betting against Kansas City is tough, but Josh Allen is playing at an MVP level, and the Bills’ offense ranks third in points per game, showing they can score big even against strong defenses.
Allen’s ability to run and pass gives Buffalo an advantage, especially at home where the crowd boosts their energy. Although the Chiefs have been perfect so far, this might be the game where they finally lose.
Kansas City’s defense is strong, allowing only 17.9 points per game, but Buffalo’s offense has shown it can adapt and be explosive, particularly with Allen’s effective passing. Plus, the Chiefs have trouble running the ball, averaging just 3.8 yards per carry, which could hinder their clock control in this game.
Buffalo’s defense, despite some ups and downs, typically performs well at home. With a lively crowd and Allen at the helm, the Bills seem ready to cover the spread and possibly give Kansas City its first defeat.

Player News
Commanders signed EDGE Von Miller, formerly of the Bills.
Miller was a cap casualty of the Bills this offseason as his production did not meet his $17.5 million salary for 2025. The 36-year-old tallied six sacks last season as a rotational pass rusher after an uncharacteristic zero sacks in 2023. He is a Super Bowl winner with the Broncos and Rams and will give it another shot on a one-year deal with a rising Commanders team. An 83.0 PFF grade (No. 11 among edge rushers) last season indicates Miller can still rush the passer in bursts. He will join fellow late-career veteran Bobby Wagner on the front seven of the Commanders defense.
49ers signed No. 43 overall pick DT Alfred Collins to a four-year contract.
Collins signing is notable as the 2025 second-round picks have been in a stand-off from signing due to disputes over contract guarantees. ESPN’s Adam Schefter notes that the 49ers signing their No. 43 overall pick “is expected to trigger multiple second-round signings.” Collins gets a four-year, $10.3 million deal that includes over $9 million guaranteed; 88 percent of his deal is guaranteed, a jump from last year’s No. 43 pick. Houston’s Jayden Higgins and Cleveland’s Carson Schwesinger signed for fully guaranteed deals heading into the second-round stand-off. Now, 29 second-rounders remain unsigned, though Collins’ deal indicates the dominos will fall soon with high contract guarantee numbers.
Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer believes Patriots WR Stefon Diggs is “trending” to play in Week 1.
Breer believes Diggs is slated to play in Week 1 of the 2025 season as he recovers from a torn ACL suffered in Week 8 last season. Signing a three-year, $69 million deal with the Patriots this offseason, Diggs is slated to be Drake Maye’s No. 1 target, though he will come along more slowly working back from the ACL injury. If he is indeed playing Week 1, the 31-year-old should be viewed as a WR4 early in the season with WR3 upside as he gets healthier later in the year.
Steelers DE Cam Heyward said newly acquired CB Jalen Ramsey’s “versatility makes him very, very great” in the Steelers’ defense.
Heyward discussed the Steelers’ defense and swapping Minkah Fitzpatrick out for Ramsey. Though losing a playmaking defensive back in Fitzpatrick hurts, Heyward is confident in Ramsey’s versatility. He said, “Jalen is a ball-hawking DB that can play corner. He can play slot. He can play safety.” It is still unclear where on the field Ramsey will start, but Heyward believes Ramsey can offer value at any spot on the field. The versatility may come in handy for a secondary turning over from an important piece in Fitzpatrick.
Amon-Ra St. Brown told the Detroit Free Press’ Dave Birkett that new OC John Morton is installing new plays and new formations this season.
While this development was expected, St. Brown’s comments confirm that Lions training camp will be worth following closely this summer. Prior reports indicated Morton could increase the Lions’ downfield passing rate this season, potentially leading to a larger role for Jameson Williams. Jahmyr Gibbs finished as the overall PPR RB1 last year despite totaling just the eighth-most touches (302). Could Morton shift more of the backfield’s workload toward him this year? Stay tuned.
Ravens placed OT Emery Jones Jr. on the non-football injury list with a shoulder injury.
Jones’ labrum injury was reported in May, and the team initially hoped he could return in time for training camp. Jones was drafted with the No. 91 overall pick and is viewed as a potential long-term option for RT Roger Rosengarten.
