And just like that, NFL Week 4 is here. Thursday Night Football kicks off with the New York Giants hosting the Dallas Cowboys, so it’s time to finalize those picks for 2024 NFL Pick Em Confidence Pools.
Last week was beyond atrocious. There’s no other way to put it. As such, the confidence pools advice is likely to be skewed towards taking a few extra chances with our picks and confidence-point assignments so we can catch up.
If you wait too long to take some chances, you’ll linger near the bottom of your standings and continue to lose ground.
2024 NFL Pick Em Confidence Pools Strategy For Week 4
The strategy for your 2024 NFL Pick Em Confidence Pool is simple. If you are near the top of your standings, maintain your process. This has been a crazy first three weeks to the regular season and if you’ve managed to keep your head above water and are killing it, then who am I to tell you different?
Personally, I might lean towards what we believe to be the chalky/easy picks as the cream always rises to the top, but if you’re leading the pack, you’re hitting on some killer underdog picks. If you are sitting in the back half of the standing in your 2024 NFL Pick Em Confidence pools, then I’m all about taking some risk right now.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that my confidence pools advice is to take all underdogs or go against everything you believe to be true, but you might have to take the opposite sides of some games we believe could go either way. Or, if you’ve got a great read on a longshot, maybe this is the place to act on it.
NFL Pick Em Confidence Pools Advice
Again, your 2024 NFL Pick Em Confidence pools strategy is all relative to your current place in the standings. Last week, I totally crapped the bed with my picks and so now I’m looking to take a few more chances.
I’m not going to do anything crazy like taking the New England Patriots over the San Francisco 49ers, but I am ready to believe that the Colts could upset the 3-0 Steelers or that maybe the Titans can upend the Dolphins and set those as mid-to-high confidence levels. Fewer people will be on those games and that could help us jump up a few spots if the pick hits. Of course, following confidence pools advice that tells you to take some risks like this can be…well…risky.
But if you are near the bottom of your standings because underdogs dominated the early weeks, you’re going to have to change some things up because the folks at the top are going to be fairly chalky to maintain their place in the current standings. You do what you have to do to win and that’s what I’m doing here in my 2024 NFL Pick Em Confidence pools.
