NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Saturday Playbook

SGA played just 29 minutes last night as the Thunder easily handled their business against the visiting Raptors. The MVP favorite finds himself in on of the better game environments of the evening as they welcome the fast-paced Grizzlies to town, and Chet Holmgren is expected to rest on the back-to-back. SGA should see his typical 35+ minutes in this one with just a 2-point spread. 

Trae Young gets an elite matchup against the Wizards and should have a deeper supporting cast tonight. Clint Capela is expected to return from injury, and newcomers Caris LeVert, Georges Niang, and Terance Mann (questionable) all could make their Hawks debut. 

A healthy total and tight spread make this rivalry game an exciting target for DFS purposes. We could see big minutes from the stars in this battle of Eastern Conference contenders. Brunson has 65+ FP upside if he can find a ceiling performance. 

Steph has attempted an incredible 66 shots over his last two games. Jimmy Butler is expected to make his Warriors debut, which could lighten the load for a Curry a bit. It is an amazing matchup against the Bulls, and Curry should remain the unquestionable top option in the offense despite the presence of Butler. 

Poole is coming off an incredible 45-point performance last night against Cleveland despite shooting just 4-of-17 from long range. The veterans acquired at the trade deadline are not yet expected to make their debuts, so we could have another Poole party on tap tonight. 

Brogdon is expected to return but Carrington should retain his starting role. Carrington has played 35 minutes in consecutive games, and Brogdon was active for one of those. The Wizards have a healthy 115 implied team total despite being 7-point 'dogs in this one. 

Ant is questionable for this one, but he has been an absolute tear of late. He has posted at least 59 FP in four of his last five games. Portland has been playing great basketball and comes in as winners of six in a row. Ant is one of the top options on the slate if he plays. 

Booker dropped 47 points on the Jazz last night with Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal out of the lineup. This is the latest game of the night on the DK main slate, so we will definitely need to monitor the Suns injury report. Booker is an elite option if Durant/Beal are out again. 

Another big questionable tag in the last game of the night on the DK main slate. Teammate MPJ and Booker on the other side are also listed questionable. Flexibility to react to injury news from this game is an important consideration tonight. 

Don't let the sticker shock stop you. Daniels has been playing excellent basketball all season, and has taken another step forward since the injury to Jalen Johnson. The Hawks are likely to get some reinforcements tonight, but Daniels has earned his role and should remain a major part of the offense.  

It has been an inconsistent season for Coby White, but I am fine chasing his upside with LaVine now in Sacramento. Golden State is an interesting matchup, as they saw a ton of roster turnover at the trade deadline. It may take them a few games to find their chemistry. 

Newcomers Middleton and Smart are not expected to play tonight, so there should be no concerns around Coulibaly's role. He should be locked in for mid-30s minutes in one of the best game environments of the night. 

Jamal Murray and MPJ are questionable, but I have interest in Braun even if both play. If either sits, Braun is one of the top value options on the board. Phoenix has been a bottom-6 defense this season and is dealing with injury concerns of their own. 

Blowouts (one in each direction) have impacted the minutes for Franz in the last two games. He is one of my favorite options on the board in this matchup with San Antonio. Over their last 10 games, the Spurs have played at the 2nd-fastest pace and rank 3rd-worst in DRtg. The addition of De'Aaron Fox should only continue to push them towards that style of play.

Jrue Holiday is out again for the Celtics, who are coming off a disappointing loss to a thin Mavericks team last night. All of Tatum, Brown, Porzingis and White have seen usage bumps with Jrue off the floor this season. 

A healthy total and tight spread make this rivalry game an exciting target for DFS purposes. We could see big minutes from the stars in this battle of Eastern Conference contenders. Hart is always live to play 40 minutes, and that is especially true now that he is off the injury report. 

Only available on FD. LaVine saw 36 minutes in his second game with the Kings. He gets an elite matchup against the Pelicans, who have been among the worst defenses in the league all season. 

MPJ carries a questionable tag (along with Jamal Murray), so we will need to monitor the injury news. He has tremendous upside against a leaky Suns defense if he plays. 

Only available on FD. The Clippers are in an excellent spot against one of the worst defenses in the league. Norm has continued to play big minutes and flash upside, even with Kawhi Leonard working his way to nearly full strength.

Jrue Holiday is out again for the Celtics, who are coming off a disappointing loss to a thin Mavericks team last night. All of Tatum, Brown, Porzingis and White have seen usage bumps with Jrue off the floor this season. 

This should be an up-tempo matchup against Western Conference contenders, as both teams play with incredible pace. Chet Holmgren will rest on the back-to-back, which means J-Dub has an enormous ceiling tonight. 

Franz has been the more consistent producer since the Magic's two stars have returned from injury, but Paolo still has incredible upside. Over their last 10 games, the Spurs have played at the 2nd-fastest pace and rank 3rd-worst in DRtg. The addition of De'Aaron Fox should only continue to push them towards that style of play. 

Only available on FD. Kawhi played a season-high 33 minutes last game and continues to work closer to full health. We have seen just one ceiling game from him, but he gets an excellent matchup tonight against the Jazz. 

Draymond has played over 30 minutes in two straight games and gets an excellent matchup against the Bulls. Jimmy Butler's debut shouldn't have an impact on Draymond's role. 

Naz has been outstanding in the absence of Julius Randle, with an average of 48 FP per game over his last three games. He is still underpriced for his mid-30s minutes and starting role. 

The production his increased in the last two games for AG. He is still dirt cheap and should only see his role grow as he gets further from the injury. Murray and MPJ are questionable, and AG becomes a bigger priority if either sits out. 

George is questionable tonight, but he has played 30 minutes in two straight games. New additions Khris Middleton and Marcus Smart are not yet available, so George should keep his role for now if he is able to play. 

Jokic has the highest ceiling on the slate regardless of the status of Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr., who are both listed questionable. Phoenix has been a below-average defense this season. 

Only available on FD. The Kings have a new look roster after adding Zach LaVine and trading away De'Aaron Fox. Sabonis should still be a focal point of the offense and gets an elite matchup against one of the worst defenses in the league. 

Vucevic has surprisingly not benefited much with Zach LaVine off the floor this season. LaVine takes a 26.6% usage rate with him to Sacramento, so there is opportunity available if Vuc wants it.

Hartenstein has a chance to play 30 minutes with Chet Holmgren out of the lineup again. Memphis plays at the fastest pace in the league, so there should be a few extra possessions and rebound chances available in this game. 

Clint Capela is expected to return to the lineup, but I don't think that impacts Okongwu. He has secured the starting Center role and should continue to play upper-20s minutes. The matchup is elite against the Wizards, who have allowed the most points and rebounds in the league. 

Holmes should draw the start at Center again for the Wizards. He played 31 minutes last game and it was announced Alex Len will not be staying with the team.
