O.G. Anunoby (sprained left ankle) is available for Tuesday's game against the Hornets.
Anunoby is good to go after having to leave Sunday's win over Charlotte during the fourth quarter. He'll occupy his usual place in the starting lineup, playing at least 35 minutes as long as the ankle issue doesn't flare up.
Raptors head coach Nick Nurse told reporters Monday that O.G. Anunoby (ankle sprain) will be listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Hornets.
Anunoby left Sunday's game early with what Nick Nurse called a "mild, mild sprain". O.G.'s injury designation being questionable according to his head coach is a positive sign for the Raptors who are also hoping to get back Gary Trent Jr as well. Anunoby has had a good stretch of games averaging 19.6 points and just under 5 rebounds per game over his last seven.
O.G. Anunoby tallied 23 points (9-of-13 FGs), seven rebounds, one assist, and five 3-pointers in Sunday's 128-108 win over the Hornets.
Anunoby had to leave Sunday's game during the fourth quarter with what Raptors coach Nick Nurse described as a "mild, mild sprain" of his ankle. He played 34 minutes, and it's likely that Anunoby would have been subbed off with Toronto's other key players with about four minutes remaining had he still been on the court. Toronto plays four games in Week 24, beginning with a rematch with the Hornets north of the border. That's the first game of a back-to-back, with the Raptors visiting Boston on Wednesday.
O.G. Anunoby led Toronto with 29 points (11-for-21 FGs), eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, three blocks and four 3-pointers in a 114-104 win over Washington on Sunday.
Anunoby had one of his highest-scoring games of the season that helped them secure an important win against Washington, which helped them narrow the gap for eighth place in the East. They're now tied with Atlanta heading into a home matchup with the Heat on Tuesday. Anunoby came up with a big performance for both the team and the fantasy managers that needed him to shine in order to win a championship. With the Raptors fighting for play-in positioning, Anunoby should continue to shine the rest of the way.
