NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Saturday Playbook

The MVP favorite is coming off a monster 52-point performance against the Warriors and now Jalen Williams is out. SGA has posted a usage rate above 40% with J-Dub and Chet Holmgren off the floor this season. 

Brunson could go overlooked today due to an absolutely loaded high end of the salary range. He is coming off a 30-point, 15-assist performance and gets a great matchup with the Lakers. 

Herro has led the Heat in usage all season long and won't have to deal with the distraction of Jimmy Butler, at least on the court. Herro has posted a 30.7% usage rate in the four games since Butler's most recent suspension. 

Murray has been playing huge minutes lately and has scored 30+ points in back-to-back games. He gets a strong matchup against a shorthanded Charlotte team. 

LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller remain out, as well as a host of other rotation members. The mounting injuries for Charlotte have opened an opportunity for Simpson to join the rotation. He has been around 25 minutes in each of the last two games and should be in for a similar workload tonight. 

Edwards has been on a tear lately, scoring 30+ points in five of his last eight games. Unfortunately, he got the midday downgrade to questionable with an illness. If he plays he is among the top options on the slate. 

Castle has played at least 30 minutes in three straight games and has flashed plenty of upside lately. He is a solid GPP pivot off the more popular OKC value pieces.

Coach Daigneault always runs a deep rotation, which makes predicting minutes difficult in these situations. The good news is they are all cheap and most have SG/SF eligibility, which are the weaker positions on the slate.

Thompson has flashed incredible ceiling since Jabari Smith went down with an injury, and he has scored at least 45 FP in seven of his last 11 games. There is certainly some blowout risk, but that is the case for most of the games on the slate. 

MPJ has seen some inconsistent minutes recently, but Denver will be a bit shorthanded with Russell Westbrook and Peyton Watson ruled out. If the Hornets can keep up in this game, MPJ has a good chance to reach 30 minutes.

LeBron did not play the 4th quarter last game in a blowout of Washington and finished with just 26 minutes played. He gets a tougher matchup today, but his ceiling remains enormous with Anthony Davis still sidelined. 

FD only option that dhould be low-owned despite the great matchup in Portland. 

Naz started the second half last game after Julius Randle left with an injury. He finished with 28 minutes played despite not playing the final four minutes due to the blowout. Naz should start for the injured Randle again and is too cheap for his role. 

Gordon comes at a discounted price on DK due to his recent minutes restriction after his return from injury. He has has started and played at least 30 minutes in each of the last two games, so it would appear he is now free from that restriction. 

Bridges has posted a usage rate above 30% in three straight games without LaMelo Ball. He should push for upper-30s minutes if the Hornets can keep the game close. 

There are plenty of value options to spend all the way up for Joker in a good matchup against the shorthanded Hornets. Blowout risk is not a reason to fade the highest ceiling on the slate, especially when there are four other games with double digit spreads. 

Wemby has elite upside in any matchup since he can find a ceiling performance in multiple ways. He should come with a decent ownership discount compared to other spend-ups like Jokic and SGA. 

Tough matchup for Domas and the Kings, but this should be an up-tempo game. OKC plays at the 7th-fastest pace and Sacramento has played much faster since the coaching change. 

The Lakers have allowed the 4th-most points in the paint this season and will be without Anthony Davis. KAT should come with attractive ownership given the strength of the high-priced plays this evening. 

Tough matchup for Bam with Wemby on the other side, but he is under $8,000 on both sites with no Jimmy Butler. 

With Jalen Williams' 27.6% usage rate out of the lineup there should be some additional shots to go around. The Thunder big man also brings elite rebounding to the table. 

No Julius Randle and an elite matchup against the Wizards. Anthony Edwards was also downgraded to questionable midday.
