Today's MLB DFS Lineup Optimizer & Generator

The MLB DFS projections love a bunch of hitters today. However, you'll want to make sure you can include Chris Sale as one of your top MLB DFS Projections.

Using my MLB DFS projections, here's a lineup I came up with for DraftKings:

This is an early slate, so make sure to get all your MLB DFS picks in as soon as possible.

MLB DFS Lineups: Core MLB DFS Pitchers

Chris Sale, Atlanta Braves

While Chris Sale will be expensive, he will still be worth it.

Sale's MLB DFS projections look elite today. The left-hander's on an NL Cy Young quest and has struck out 31.8% of batters over the last month.

He's also held his last 129 batters to a .064 ISO and wOBA of .252 and has allowed just 3.1% of walks during the previous 30 days. Beyond that, Sale has added 14.1% of strikeouts and has limited teams to 22.6% of fly balls.

Meanwhile, he'll take on a Blue Jays projected lineup that has hit just a .157 ISO and wOBA of .289 against lefties. This projected lineup has also struck out more than 31% of the time against lefties in the last month.

Sale is easily one of the best MLB DFS picks despite his massive salary. Try to fit him in your lineup. He'll have an enormous day, especially after the Braves were just knocked out of the third Wild Card spot.

Michael Wacha, Kansas City Royals

Michael Wacha has put up some interesting stats over the last month. The veteran righty has held his previous 122 batters to a .123 ISO and wOBA of .294.

While his strikeouts are down against lefties, he's still struck out 31.2% of righties. That said, he'll more likely face a Twins lineup with six lefties in it.

Still, Wacha has held his last 74 lefties to a .085 ISO and wOBA of .267. He's also walked just 1.4% of lefties in that time and has allowed just a 5.3% barrel percentage.

On the other hand, the Twins have hit just a .154 ISO and wOBA of .320 against righties over the last month using the projected lineup. Beyond that, the Twins have struck out more than 22% of the time in the previous month against righties and have walked just 6.6%.

Wacha has a good enough matchup to be considered as one of your MLB DFS picks at the pitcher slot.

Andrew Heaney, Texas Rangers

In the last 30 days, the Texas Rangers' lefty has held his last 103 batters to a .129 ISO and a .300 wOBA.

In addition, he's struck out 29.1% of batters and has walked just 4.9%. Heaney has also added 14.5% of swinging strikes in the last month.

He'll battle an Angels lineup that has contributed a .068 ISO and wOBA of .258 against lefties in the last 30 days. The lineup only has two batters hitting an ISO better than 0.000 against lefties in the previous month.

That's Zach Neto and Taylor Ward. But the rest of the lineup has literally no power against lefties.

Heaney is a massive value play as a low-tier target. His MLB DFS projections are way better than his price.

MLB DFS Lineup Picks: Hitters

MLB DFS Lineups: Core MLB DFS Hitters

Braves Stack

The top of the lineup for the Braves should have a field day.

Yariel Rodriguez will take the hill for the Blue Jays. He's a right-handed pitcher who has allowed a .234 ISO and wOBA of .374 to his last 105 batters. He's also allowed 38.9% of fly balls and nearly 42% of hard contact, with only 10.9% of swinging strikes and an 8.3% barrel percentage allowed.

His MLB DFS projections don't look very good. However, the MLB DFS picks you should target are Jorge Soler, Marcell Ozuna, and Matt Olson.

Check out these numbers against righties over the last 30 days:

Jorge Soler: .310 ISO, .399 wOBA
Marcell Ozuna: .227 ISO, .459 wOBA
Matt Olson: .299 ISO, .362 wOBA

Ultimately, Rodriguez has struggled against both sides of the plate. Those three sluggers should do damage, and all hit next to each other in the lineup.

Francisco Lindor, SS, Mark Vientos, 3B, Jesse Winker, OF, New York Mets

You can ultimately ride any of the top six Mets hitters today. But I'll stick with these three.

The Mets are facing Julian Aguiar of the Reds, who has allowed a .290 ISO and wOBA of .387 to his first 75 batters faced this season. Aguiar has struggled more against lefties, allowing a .389 ISO and wOBA of .441.

However, righties have only struck out 5.4% of the time against Aguiar and have also hit a .182 ISO and wOBA of .331. The lefties may have more potential. That's why I'd suggest Francisco Lindor and Jesse Winker

Lindor has already hit a .303 ISO and wOBA of .455 against his last 95 righties. He's a legit MVP candidate in the National League and continues to find ways on base.

Winker has also hit a .219 ISO and wOBA of .378 against his last 69 righties. With a strikeout rate of 18.8%, Winker is an excellent option for today.

Finally, Mark Vientos has hit a .329 ISO and wOBA of .445 against his last 79 righties. When he's not striking out, he's tearing the baseball apart. With Aguiar struggling to add strikeouts, Vientos could launch one.

Yankees Lefties

The Yankees will take on an old friend in Jameson Taillon. While Taillon has been good against righties, he's been awful against lefties.

Taillon has allowed a .324 ISO and wOBA of .442 to his last 72 lefties. He's also allowed 45% of hard contact and has struck out only 11.1% of lefties in the previous month.

In addition, he's added only 7.2% of swinging strikes and has allowed nearly 27% of line drives.

Juan Soto, Austin Wells, and Jazz Chisholm are all plays today.

Soto has hit a .391 ISO and wOBA of .470 against his last 55 righties. Austin Wells has contributed a .340 ISO and wOBA of .442 against his last 54 righties. Lastly, Chisholm has hit a .265 ISO and wOBA of .528 against his last 35 righties.

Those three are live as top MLB DFS picks. You can also consider Anthony Rizzo, who has a small sample size since returning to the diamond. Still, if you had to choose between the two, the MLB DFS projections like Matt Olson more than Rizzo.
