MLB Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 6/25
We enjoyed a decent day yesterday, based off of our Monday MLB predictions, but it certainly could have been more explosive. We hit on a number of pitcher props for strikeouts and outs recorded and nailed a few first-five game bets as well.
We fell just short of a phenomenal night when our hitting props came up just short. Willy Adames, Tyler Stephenson and Brent Rooker – I’m looking at you guys! But not to worry as we’ve studied it all today and are ready to turn another profit.

Guardians vs. Orioles Prediction: Tuesday, June 25
Dueling southpaws on the mound for this one as Cole Irvin and Logan Allen take the mound for their respective teams. I’m not really a big fan of either and both the Orioles and the Guardians have solid numbers against lefties, but we get some decent value with our MLB best bets on siding with what I believe is the better team, even if the Guardians are coming in with a little extra momentum; they've won their last six.
Irvin has had a couple of tough outings, but he’s been tangling with the Yankees and Braves in recent outings and while New York got to him, he did manage to have a solid showing against Atlanta and fanned eight batters in that one. Allen, on the other side, is coming off back-to-back solid outings and has two quality starts in his last three. But Seattle, Miami and a struggling Toronto team? I’m going to lean into the Orioles bats to come out on top early on and from there, whatever happens, happens.
- Expert Guardians vs. Orioles Picks:
- Baltimore First 5 Innings Money Line (-130 on Bet365)
- Baltimore First 5 Innings Team Total Over 2.5 Runs (-110 on DraftKings)
Nationals vs. Padres Prediction: Tuesday, June 25
Rounding out our MLB picks, we’re going to lean into the Padres struggles against lefthanded pitching today with MacKenzie Gore on the mound for the Nationals. He’s had two hiccups this season, both in his last four starts, but around those two outings, he’s had nine starts where he’s only allowed two runs or fewer.
The strikeout rate has been a little erratic and the Padres actually strike out less than 20-percent of the time against southpaws, so we’ll leave that prop alone and bank on the Nats grabbing an early lead. The Padres are throwing righty Adam Mazur who was just called back up to the majors to make this start. He’s had four outings at the big-league level and his 7.27 ERA and 1.96 WHIP probably tell you everything you need to know.
The Nationals have been good (not great) against righties this season, but they know how to work the count, put the bat on the ball and they don’t strike out much. In fact, over the past week, their K-rate is down at 17.4-percent while they’ve posted a solid .312 wOBA with a .174 ISO. I like for them to score a couple of runs early and maintain the lead, at least until Gore takes a seat.

- Washington First 5 Innings Money Line (-120 on Bet365)
- Washington First 5 Innings Team Total Over 1.5 Runs (-130 on DraftKings)
