NFL DFS Week 11 QB Coach: Lamar Jackson, Russell Wilson, Anthony Richardson

Week 11 of the NFL season has arrived and we are back to the 11 game main slate on DraftKings and 12 game main slate on FanDuel.
With byes this week we see Kyler Murray, Bryce Young, Daniel Jones and Baker Mayfield off the slate.
Week 10 was a pretty interesting week in fantasy football and Week 10 is shaping up to be even better as we have some top tier QB's in some really great spots to take advantage of, notably, the cover player Russell Wilson who draws a great matchup against the Baltimore Ravens this weekend.
As with every week, this week, we once again look to take advantage of some top matchups for our NFL DFS Week 11 QB coach as I bring you my NFL DFS Week 11 QB coach top targets, values and fades to build your lineups around this weekend.
NFL DFS Week 10 QB Coach Recap
Player | Pts | $ | Post | Value | Tier | Pos Finish |
Josh Allen | 20.2 | 7.7 | QB | 2.6 | Top | 7 |
Jalen Hurts | 31.68 | 7.8 | QB | 4.1 | Top | 3 |
Kirk Cousins | 14.24 | 6.7 | QB | 2.1 | Mid | 14 |
Sam Darnold | 9.44 | 6.2 | QB | 1.5 | Mid | 22 |
Brock Purdy | 26.82 | 6.5 | QB | 4.1 | Mid | 5 |
Aaron Rodgers | 5.04 | 5.7 | QB | 0.9 | Value | 28 |
Drake Maye | 12.76 | 5.8 | QB | 2.2 | Value | 17 |
Derek Carr | 20.46 | 6.2 | QB | 3.3 | Fade | 6 |
The top guys did the job we had hoped for, Brock Purdy was elite but the rest was pretty bad. The top rostered Aaron Rodgers and Sam Darnold were complete busts while last week's bust in Derek Carr has a huge week that could have been even better if not for a dropped touchdown by Alvin Kamara.
NFL DFS QB Top Tier Picks For Week 11
Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens - DraftKings: $8,000 | FanDuel: $9,000
Yes, the matchup with the Steelers can always be tough when the Baltimore and Pittsburgh lock horns but Jackson has been one of the more consistent QB's in fantasy this season thanks to his elite rushing skills and the Ravens improved passing offense.
With defenses needing to worry about Derek Henry, we are seeing a lot more opportunities open up for Lamar this season an the Steelers run defense is good, not great. I'd be looking for him to make plays with his legs and then eventually hit a big play or two through the air for us on Sunday.
Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills - DraftKings: $7,800 | FanDuel: $8,800
It's looking like Amari Cooper will be back for the Bills this weekend in their matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend which is a great thing considering it's looking like they will be missing tight end Dalton Kincaid along with receiver Keon Coleman against the Chiefs.
Allen flashed the rushing upside last week against the Colts and still has capable pass catchers to make some noise and pay off the price tag in this home matchup in Week 11.
NFL DFS QB Mid-Tier Picks For NFL Week 11
Jared Goff, Detroit Lions - DraftKings: $6,300 | FanDuel: $8,300
Big price difference over on DraftKings compared to FanDuel. I likely do not get to Goff on FanDuel but on DK he is a solid play against a very bad Jacksonville defense. Happy to use him as a core play in cash games this weekend at his price tag.
Bo Nix, Denver Broncos - DraftKings: $6,200 | FanDuel: $7,400
A fun tournament play this weekend against the Atlanta Falcons. Any time you get a dome team traveling into Denver as we get the colder weather I tend to lean on the Broncos side of things.
Nix has been impressive over the last few games, finally connecting with Courtland Sutton and making some plays with his legs as well.
Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers - FanDuel: $7,300
Instead of playing Jared Goff on FanDuel this week just play Justin Herbert instead. These next few weeks are elite matchups for Herbert and it kicks off in Week 11 with a favorable home matchup against a bad Cincinnati Bengals secondary. With Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston making plays. This passing attack is looking strong.
NFL Week 11 DFS QB Value Picks
Drake Maye, New England Patriots - DraftKings: $5,600 | FanDuel: $7,400
Home matchup after a nice win against the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams defense is nothing special and the Patriots are starting to find some rhythm with their offense as they begin to feature Demario Douglas and Kayshon Boutte as primary receivers.
Drake Maye is also on a 17 game pace that would have seen him rush for over 700-yards this season. His elite rushing upside helps his floor and raises his ceiling in DFS.
Jameis Winston, New Orleans Saints - DraftKings: $5,500 | FanDuel: $7,400
We absolutely should love this matchup for Winston this week. Off of a bye and facing a Saints defense that traded away their best corner back during the deadline. We've seen the good and we've seen the ugly in Winston's two starts this season and with another week of preparation as the starter I'm buying in.
NFL DFS QB Fades For Week 11
Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers - DraftKings: $7,000 | FanDuel: $7,700
On the road against a decent Bears defense has me worried here. We aren't really getting any sort of discount on Love either and there are QB's I'd rather play in this price range over him.
NFL Week 11 QB Play Of The Week
Russell Wilson, Pittsburgh Steelers - DraftKings: $5,900 | FanDuel: $7,800
He's the cover of the QB coach and will be the highest rostered QB on the slate this week as he draws a Ravens defense allowing the second most fantasy points to the QB position this season given their horrifically poor pass defense. With George Pickens turning into one of the top receivers in football and the addition of Mike Williams who caught a touchdown on his lone target last week, there is a lot to like about Wilson in Week 11.
NFL DFS Week 11 QB Projections
Player News
Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel’s Tom Silverstein reports the Packers have received interest and remain committed to waiting for a deal to be made for CB Jaire Alexander.
Silverstein’s sources add that the Packers were close to dealing Alexander near the start of free agency, but that the combination of “trade compensation and Alexander’s willingness to alter his contract to fit the other team’s salary cap have made it difficult to close a deal.” We’ve been blurbing about Alexander’s situation all offseason and nothing has changed to this point. If the draft passes without a trade, we’re likely headed to a place where the Packers would be more compelled to release or keep him than trade him.
Ravens GM Eric DeCosta said “I never know what’s going to happen” when asked if he expects Mark Andrews to be with the team in 2025.
“I can tell you this, Mark Andrews is a warrior. He’s a great player and we’re in the business of keeping as many great players as we can,” DeCosta continued. It’s a bit of a departure from John Harbaugh saying he “fully expected” Andrews to be here in late March. Reading between the lines, it sounds like Andrews may be available in a trade but that nobody has really given the Ravens an offer they’d consider feasible. We’d bet on Andrews returning still, but it is noteworthy that DeCosta wouldn’t commit to it.
NewOrleans Football’s Mike Triplett’s “best guess” is that Derek Carr is “trying to force a divorce” with the Saints.
“Either a) he legitimately is like my shoulder has reached a point where I think I’d rather take care of it than play this season or ... b) it’s some sort of threat, like we asked for you guys to release us, you didn’t, we were upset when you just restructured the contract instead of trying to work out a release, so now here’s another path for us not showing us, and maybe now we’ll force a release,” Triplett continued. “I don’t know how there’s any resolution from this,” Triplett added. The Athletic’s Diana Russini added that she believes Carr does not want the “Kirk Cousins treatment” where a team is not committed to him long-term. Triplett and Nick Underhill believe that Carr wanted out and was very upset when the Saints restructured his contract and forced him to stay. It sure feels like Carr is intent on not playing for the Saints this season.
Chargers LB Daiyan Henley (shoulder) expects to be ready for training camp.
Henley had surgery to repair a torn labrum that he played through for the final four months of the season. Henley told ESPN’s Kris Rhim that he expects to be “100 percent” before training camp. If for whatever reason Henley is slow coming back it could be an opening for 2024 third-rounder Junior Colson.
Panthers GM Dan Morgan said Georgia LB Jalon Walker would be a 3-4 linebacker in Carolina’s system.
While Morgan also spent the press conference telling interested teams the Panthers would be willing to move down, it was a little more telling that he spoke about the Georgia LB prospect in such finished terms. He didn’t do so at the combine. The Panthers have widely been perceived as interested in drafting a defender at No. 8 overall and Walker would be a logical fit for them.
Giants are hosting a private workout with Louisville QB Tyler Shough.
Shough, a rising name in the process per Dianna Russini, is one of several draft-eligible quarterbacks the Giants are doing late work on including Shedeur Sanders and Jalen Milroe. Shough’s rookie year will also be his age-26 season, so he’d be a bit of a weird developmental pick to hang behind Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston. Perhaps the Giants think he could compete for the job right away, or be ready to play the second half of the season.
