Let's take a look at everything going on with our fantasy football injuries below!
NFL Week 6 Injury Report: Quarterbacks
Anthony Richardson Injury Update - Oblique
Despite logging full practices on Thursday and Friday, the Colts have listed Anthony Richardson as questionable in Week 6. He left early in Week 4 and missed the Colts Week 5 game due to an oblique injury. The full practices suggest he’s closer to probable than he is doubtful.
Derek Carr Injury Update - Oblique
Saints starting quarterback Derek Carr has a tear in his oblique and will miss multiple weeks but is not being placed on injured reserve. Spencer Rattler will start in his place in Week 6.
Will Levis Injury Update - Shoulder
After practicing all week for Tennessee despite the shoulder ailment, head coach Brian Callahan has officially named Will Levis his starting quarterback in Week 6.
Russell Wilson Injury Update - Calf
Russell Wilson had his first week of full practices since he first injured his calf before the team's Week 1 game and will serve as the team’s backup quarterback this week for the first time this season.
NFL Week 6 Injury Report: Running Backs
Christian McCaffrey Injury Update - Achilles
We got a big Christian McCaffrey update from NFL’s Ian Rapoport before Thursday Night Football that McCaffrey could return to practice between weeks seven and eight and come back and play in Week 10 after the 49ers Week 9 bye week.
Alvin Kamara Injury Update - Hip, Hand
Alvin Kamara has been removed from the Saints injury report ahead of their Week 6 bout with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He’s good to go despite dealing with two separate injuries this week. His number will be called a LOT this week without Derek Carr under center.
Jonathan Taylor Injury Update - Ankle
The Indianapolis Colts have officially ruled Jonathan Taylor out for their Week 6 game against the Tennessee Titans with a sprained ankle.
James Cook Injury Update - Toe
The Bills released the official injury report on Friday and Cook has not practiced on both Thursday and Friday. Because they have the Monday Night Football game on tap, they have an extra day of practice, but he’s definitely at risk of missing the Bills Week 6 game against the Jets.
Jordan Mason Injury Update - Shoulder
Head coach Kyle Shanahan has confirmed from Thursday's reporting that Jordan Mason did in fact suffer an AC joint sprain to his shoulder. He’s considered day-to-day and definitely dodged a bullet there.
Joe Mixon Injury Update - Ankle
Another day of practice for Joe Mixon as he trends toward playing per Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 Houston. Mixon has missed multiple weeks with an ankle sprain caused by a hip drop tackle that is now a penalized play in the NFL.
Nick Chubb Injury Update - Knee
Despite logging another week of practice, the Browns have ruled Chubb out for their Week 6 matchup against the Eagles. The Browns are taking it day by day, but he continues to improve and has a realistic opportunity to return in Week 7.
Brian Robinson Injury Update - Knee
After not practicing all week with a knee injury, head coach Dan Quinn told the media that Brian Robinson is officially a game-time decision in Week 6. He played through the injury last week but was able to practice.
Rhamondre Stevenson Injury Update - Foot
After not practicing at all this week, Rhamondre Stevenson has officially been ruled out for the Patriots Week 6 game against the Houston Texans. Head coach Jerod Mayo says it won’t be a long-term absence for Stevenson.
Devin Singletary Injury Update - Groin
After practicing in a limited capacity, the groin pull that kept Devin Singletary out of their Week 5 win against the Seahawks, he’s listed as questionable. It’s a bleak questionable, however, and things are trending toward rookie Tyrone Tracy once again shouldering the load for the Giants.
Zack Moss Injury Update - Foot
Zack Moss was dealing with a minor foot issue this week but is not listed on the team’s injury report and will play according to head coach, Zac Taylor.
Chase Brown Injury Update - Quad
Brown is good to go for Week 6 per head coach Zac Taylor and is past the minor quad injury he was dealing with this week.
Jaylen Warren Injury Update - Knee
After being originally listed as doubtful at the beginning of the week, the week has progressed very well for Jaylen Warren as he practiced in full on Friday. Head coach Mike Tomlin said things are looking good for Warren to be active in Week 6.
Rachaad White Injury Update - Foot
Things have progressed poorly throughout the week for Rachaad White as he’s now listed as doubtful for Week 6 with a foot injury. Those Bucky Irving shares couldn’t be higher right about now!
Gus Edwards Injury Update - Ankle
Another day of no practice on Friday for Gus Edwards as things are trending in the wrong direction for him being available in Week 6.
Dameon Pierce Injury Update - Hamstring
Dameon Pierce is not listed on the Texans injury report and will suit up for their Week 6 matchup with the New England Patriots.
Zamir White Injury Update - Groin
After not practicing the past two days, Zamir White was back on the practice field on Friday. That doesn’t clear him for Week 6 as head coach Antonio Pierce said “we’ll see” about him playing, but this is a trend in the right direction.
NFL Week 6 Injury Report: Wide Receivers
Malik Nabers Injury Update - Concussion
The New York Giants have ruled out star rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers for a second straight game due to a concussion. He’s still in concussion protocol.
Nico Collins Injury Update - Hamstring
Nico Collins has been placed on injured reserve and will miss a minimum of four games with a hamstring injury.
A.J. Brown Injury Update - Hamstring
After logging full practices all week, AJ Brown is returning to action in Week 6 against the Browns.
DeVonta Smith Injury Update - Concussion
Devonta Smith has officially cleared concussion protocol and will be available for the Eagles’ Week 6 matchup against the Browns.
Davante Adams Injury Update - Hamstring
It looks as if the Raiders will once again be without Davante Adams in Week 6 as he’s still dealing with a lingering hamstring injury. He hasn’t practiced at all this week.
Michael Pittman Injury Update - Back
Michael Pittman’s sudden status change has to be the craziest one of the year. Earlier in the week it was reported Pittman would be placed on injured reserve – which would keep him out for at least four weeks. Now, just a few days later, Pittman practiced in FULL on Friday and is going to PLAY in Week 6. Crazy.
Diontae Johnson Injury Update - Ankle
Diontae Johnson’s officially listed as questionable with an ankle sprain, but he was also questionable last week with the same injury and played through it. Look for that to be the case again in Week 6.
Rashid Shaheed Injury Update - Hip
Rashid Sheheed has been removed from the Saints injury report after practicing on a limited basis for most of the week and is good to go for Week 6.
Christian Watson Injury Update - Ankle
After practicing in a limited fashion this week, Christian Watson has officially been listed as questionable heading into Week 6. He was originally a potential IR candidate but if he plays this week, he’ll have missed just one game.
Josh Downs Injury Update - Toe
In a plot twist, Josh Downs went from not practicing all week to full participant and likely to play in Week 6 after suffering a toe injury.
Khalil Shakir Injury Update - Ankle
Khalil Shakir’s status for Week 6 is getting murkier by the day as he’s failed to practice on Thursday and Friday. He missed Week 5 with an ankle sprain he was able to play through in Week 4.
Xavier Legette Injury Update - Shoulder
*Looks at Panthers injury report* doesn’t see Xavier Legette anywhere. Legette has been fully removed from the injury report and is good to go for Week 6.
Rashod Bateman Injury Update - Groin
After participating in practice on Friday at full capacity, Rashod Bateman has been fully removed from the Ravens injury report ahead of their Week 6 clash against the Washington Commanders.
Jakobi Meyers Injury Update - Ankle
After missing practice on Thursday, Jakobi Meyers is back at practice on Friday according to head coach Antonio Pierce. That gives him a good shot in Week 6.
Ricky Pearsall Injury Update - Chest
After literally being shot in the chest before the season began, the 49ers are opening the practice window for Pearsall next week as he nears a return. Remarkable turnaround.
Gabe Davis Injury Update - Knee
The Jacksonville Jaguars have officially listed Davis as questionable for their Week 6 game against the Chicago Bears due to a knee injury.
NFL Week 6 Injury Report: Tight Ends
David Njoku Injury Update - Knee/Ankle
After missing practice earlier in the week, Njoku returned to the field albeit in a limited fashion as he was dealing with both knee and ankle issues. Head coach Kevin Stefanski said he’s playing in Week 6.
Evan Engram Injury Update - Hamstring
After a week of limited practices, Evan Engram has officially been listed as questionable heading into their Week 6 meeting with the Chicago Bears. The Jaguars and Bears are in London, so we’ll know nice and early about Engram’s status.
Taysom Hill Injury Update - Ribs
The New Orleans Saints have ruled out Swiss army knife, Taysom Hill, for their Week 6 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Tucker Kraft Injury Update - Groin

Player News
Ravens signed Derrick Henry to a two-year, $30 million contract extension.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Henry is the first running back over the age of 30 to make $15 million per year. Henry hit the open market at the peak of the “running backs don’t matter” discourse and signed a measly two-year, $16 million deal with the Ravens last offseason. He spent the 2025 season stuffing nerds in lockers with 1,921 yards and 16 touchdowns on 325 attempts. The monstrous season more than earned him a raise and the Ravens knew the assignment. Rapoport noted that Henry wants to finish his career in Baltimore and the extension will give him the opportunity to do so.
ESPN’s Rob Demovsky reports Packers C Elgton Jenkins is skipping offseason workouts for contract reasons.
Jenkins is being moved to center ahead of the 2025 season. He is a left guard by trade but has also spent time at both tackle spots during his six years in Green Bay. The Packers signed him to a four-year, $68 million extension in 2022 that runs through 2026. The deal initially made him a highly-paid guard. It now has him as one of the league’s most expensive centers. The Packers could save $20 million by cutting Jenkins next offseason, something they would likely do unless Jenkins is immediately one of the league’s best centers. Jenkins, in turn, is almost certainly looking to up his guarantees on the final two years of the contract. Though, as Demovsky points out, the Packers rarely adjust contracts this far from their expiration, Jenkins could be the exception to the rule.
Dak Prescott said George Pickens is “more than a 50-50 catcher.”
Prescott in a Wednesday morning radio interview was effusive in his praise of Pickens, who was traded last week from the Steelers to Dallas in exchange for draft compensation. “You put the ball anywhere in his vicinity, very strong hands,” Prescott said of Pickens. “He’s more than a 50-50 catcher. ... I’m excited for him. I know that we need some help at that position.” Pickens, 24, has 2,841 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns over three NFL seasons and is widely expected to see more single coverage in Dallas than he did as the unquestioned No. 1 wideout in Pittsburgh. Opposing coverage units won’t be able to shade safeties toward his side of the field with CeeDee Lamb threatening the middle of the field. Pickens shapes up as a volatile WR2/3 in 2025.
The Lions will play the Vikings on Christmas Day.
The Week 17 matchup between longtime NFC North rivals will be available exclusively on Netflix. Coming off a devastating Divisional Round loss to Washington last January, the Lions will be prominently featured by the league in 2025. Jared Goff and the Lions beat Minnesota twice during the 2024 regular season: A 31-29 Week 7 victory in Minnesota and a 31-9 Week 18 drubbing in Detroit. Goff combined to throw for 511 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions in those games. Justin Jefferson, meanwhile, was limited to ten catches for 131 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings’ 2024 games against Detroit.
The Eagles will face the Chiefs in Week 2.
The NFL’s trickle of 2025 schedule news includes a Super Bowl rematch in Kansas City, where Patrick Mahomes and company will look for a little revenge after getting bulldozed by the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, 40-22. Philadelphia’s elite defense held Mahomes to a mere 226 yards on 32 pass attempts, with much of that production coming in fourth quarter garbage time. Jalen Hurts threw of two scores and ran in another as Saquon Barkley was held in check to the tune of 57 scoreless yards on 23 carries. If the Chiefs are to get back at the Eagles in Week 2, they’ll have to do a far better job of protecting Mahomes.
The Athletic’s Mike DeFabo believes RB Kaleb Johnson is a “schematic fit” for the Steelers offense.
Johnson, a third-round draft pick who last month was listed as a co-starter alongside Jaylen Warren on the Pittsburgh depth chart, was a hyper-productive back in Iowa’s zone-based rushing scheme, a system used frequently in Arthur Smith’s run-first offense. Only three college running backs in 2024 logged more zone rushes than Johnson. Johnson’s goals in offseason practices, according to DeFabo, “are to learn the playbook and earn the coaching staff’s trust with the hope of becoming an ‘every-down back’ sooner rather than later.” That might require Johnson to improve his pass blocking. The rookie said he’s worked on that with Warren — one of the best blocking backs in the NFL — in recent days.
