Week 11 is here and there are only four weeks left in the regular season (for most fantasy football leagues).

Four teams are on bye this week; Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

2024 Fantasy Football Week 11 IDP Overview

If you have fantasy football IDPs from those teams on a bye, put them on the bench.

There are however a few great risers, some Fantasy Football Week 11 IDPs that bolster rosters on the waiver wire, and some great matchups to exploit for fantasy football teams.

Fantasy Football IDP Risers Week 11

Nnamdi Madubuike had a fantastic game for the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night. A fantasy football IDP performance that is worthy of the best of the week. He could have been described as an X factor in their crucial victory. He is also on the rise in fantasy football leagues.

Madubuike had an excellent season last year and earned a nice contract due to it. He appears to be hitting a stride late in the season too. Keep an eye on him as he paces himself for the fantasy football stretch. His bye week before the playoffs begin can bring big week 15 results too.

Bud Dupree busted out of the scene last week, as some didn’t even know he was a Los Angeles Charger. 2 sacks and a forced fumble will make you stick out from the crowd though. He now has 3 sacks and 9 tackles in his last 3 games.

The Chargers have two home games against the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens, and a favorable playoff schedule. Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Denver Broncos at home, then the New England Patriots on the road. Two rookie quarterbacks and one of the most sacked quarterbacks in the league. Keep an eye out for this rising veteran.

Deatrich Wise had an excellent week 10 and has sacks in back-to-back games. He is rising due to his constant pressure and his 5 sacks on the season in addition to 22 tackles. It may not seem like much but he is getting in a much better rhythm.

The Patriots also play the Los Angeles Rams, Miami Dolphins, and Indianapolis Colts. Assuming that Joe Flacco starts for the Colts, that is three games against immobile quarterbacks. Wise could earn a sack in every game until their bye and is rising up the waivers.

Fantasy Football Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire Targets

Daiyan Henley, Linebacker, Los Angeles Chargers

Daiyan Henley may not be known by most managers, even in fantasy football IDP leagues. He is worth a waiver and more than the average FAAB should be spent on him. He just hit his third game in a row with double digit tackles and added a sack for good measure.

The Chargers are past their bye week and Henley is set to be a plug and play linebacker the rest of the season. He is a must add even for teams deep at linebackers. He could be the IDP that gets a team over the playoff point hump. Particularly in cold weather games.

Cameron Heyward, Defensive Lineman, Pittsburgh Steelers

‘An oldie, but a goody’ might apply more to music but Cameron Heyward has been playing in the NFL longer than 98% of current NFL defensive tackles. He is playing in his 14th season, and still putting up remarkable numbers. He has 5 sacks this season, including two in week 10.

The defensive line of the Steelers thought they were adding depth, but the signing of Preston Smith could prove invaluable. Alex Highsmith could miss some time, however Heyward, a career long Pittsburgh Steeler, has a stretch of four consecutive AFC North opponents coming up. He knows what is at stake and fantasy football managers should expect the best from one of the best of all-time.

Micah Parsons, Defensive Lineman/Linebacker, Dallas Cowboys

Micah Parsons came back in a big way, two sacks and a forced fumble. He was the sole reason the Dallas Cowboys had a respectable score in the first half against the Philadelphia Eagles. He may not be available in most leagues, but some fantasy football IDPs get dropped when injured, regardless of the draft capital or fantasy football ceiling.

The Cowboys are past their bye week, Parsons is healthy, and he has a legitimate chance to get a sack in every game going forward. Four of his next six games are at home against teams that have less than great offensive lines. Put the FAAB on Parsons and have a great IDP going forward.

NFL Week 11 IDP Matchups To Capitalize On

Cleveland Browns vs. New Orleans Saints, Sunday 1:00 PM ET

Tyrann Mathieu may have saved the Saints season with an interception against their division rival, the Atlanta Falcons. He also earned 3 tackles, 1 interception, and 3 passes defended. The veteran is stepping it up when it matters most and has a former teammate coming to the Bayou.

The Cleveland Browns are a true mess, and their offensive line is not great. Jameis Winston is set to start against his former team, and no one truthfully knows what they are going to get with him at QB.

The one constant is Winston will throw it. He has 569 total passing yards, and threw 3 interceptions last week. Mathieu could be a prime Fantasy Football Week 11 IDP target and have another stellar performance capped off with an interception.

Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears, Sunday 1:00 PM ET

Xavier McKinney is almost a sure fire All-Pro for the 2024 season, and he has a valid case to be the Defensive Player of the Year. He is in a defensive scheme that fits him like a glove. He is also coming off a bye week, and an extra week to prepare against a rookie quarterback.

42 tackles, 7 passes defended, 6 interceptions, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble is a nice resume through 9 games, and now McKinney is going to get his first taste of the Green Bay Packers/Chicago Bears rivalry. Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears went from elite to delete from your lineup, and week 11 could be more of the same.

McKinney could add to his league leading 6 interceptions this Sunday against a suddenly panicked looking first overall selection. Play McKinney as a Fantasy Football Week 11 IDP with complete confidence against the Chicago Bears.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Detroit Lions, Sunday 1:00 PM ET

Za'Darius Smith is now on his 5th NFL franchise, and his third NFC North team. The former Cleveland Brown stated he is happy to join a winning franchise and upbeat team. He could be seen on Monday night coaching up the defensive line and said in the postgame show he wanted to play against the Houston Texans

However, Dan Campbell wanted to wait, and Smith could turn in his best numbers since being a Green Bay Packer. The Lions are playing like the best team in the NFL and went after a player to fill the void of Aidan Hutchinson due to injury.

Smith brings 65 career sacks and an eagerness to win a championship. For Fantasy Football Week 11 IDPs, play him this week against a team that has been one of the worst in the NFL. He could also be playing against a backup quarterback, which only boosts his chances of earning a sack.
