2024 NFL Pick Em Confidence Pools Strategy & Advice: Week 11 Predictions

NFL Week 11 kicks off on Thursday night which means it’s time to make those picks for our 2024 NFL Pick Em Confidence Pools.
If you thought last Thursday’s game was a hot way to start up the week, our Thursday Night Football game here in Week 11 is just as tasty. We’ve got an old school battle for NFC east supremacy as Jayden Daniels leads the upstart Washington Commanders into the City of the Brotherly Shove to take on Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Both teams have been strong this season with each posting seven wins and we’re expecting a close game. Vegas has it as a four-point spread with the Eagles as a fairly heavy favorite on the money line, so for our NFL Week 11 Confidence Pool picks, we are likely to favor them, but for picks against the spread, we might have a different story to tell.
We had a bit of a rough week last week as we went 9-5 on our picks straight-up. The Saints, Bears and Jets did us no favors nor did the Rams or Giants. The majority of the field in my 2024 NFL Pick Em Confidence Pool suffered a similar fate, but we tried to get cute and listed the Bears and Saints pretty high up on our list.
If I’m going to make a move at all in that pool, I am going to have to run the table with strong picks and some contrarian confidence levels. Not sure that’s going to work, but rather than dwell on last week, let’s dive into some helpful confidence pool advice before finalizing our 2024 NFL Pick Em Confidence Pool picks this week.
2024 NFL Pick Em Confidence Pools Strategy For Week 11
Looking for a good strategy for your 2024 NFL Pick Em Confidence Pool picks? Where are you in your overall standings? Obviously, that matters. If you are near the top of your standings, my standard confidence pool advice is to continue leaning into the chalk. There’s no reason to get too cute with your picks.
Middle of the pack? You’re going to have to take some chances now if you’re genuinely feeling like you can move up and potentially finish in the money. Maybe increase the confidence level of some of the less-chalky picks and see if you can move up. You should know by the end of this week, or maybe the next if you have a shot at finishing in the top-10.
If you’re at the bottom, it’s time to look at your 2024 NFL Pick Em Confidence pool rules and see if there is a second-half prize or even a weekly payout to chase. With everyone near the top leaning into the chalk, your chances of moving that far up are probably pretty slim. If you can steal a weekly payout or two over the next few weeks, chances are you can finish the season in the black. Obviously, not ideal, but it is what it is.
NFL Pick Em Confidence Pools Advice
Not much left to add to my current confidence pool advice other than what you just read. At the top, you want to wait for some real good games to try and make a move with a contrarian pick. In the middle, it’s about adjusting your confidence levels on some picks that could go either way – maybe games like the Bengals/Chargers, Chiefs/Bills or even the Saints/Broncos fit the bill.
If you don’t think you can finish top-10 then it’s time to look for other ways to make money off the pool. Most have a weekly payout, so lean into it. Now, let’s get to the rest of my picks for Week 11 of your 2024 NFL Pick Em Confidence pools.

Player News
Dolphins signed No. 13 overall pick DT Kenneth Grant to a four-year contract.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that Grant will sign his contract today. The former Michigan defensive tackle is expected to fill a major void left by Christian Wilkins, who left for the Raiders in the 2024 offseason. Grant totaled 32 tackles, three sacks, and seven TFLs in his final season at Michigan and excelled at stopping the run while also generating 27 pressures in his final season, per PFF.
Beat reporter John Hendrix reports that free agent WR Donovan Peoples-Jones is among the 16 players that the Saints will host for their rookie minicamp.
Peoples-Jones last played regular season snaps with the Lions back in 2023, when he caught 13-of-24 targets for 155 yards. He is highly unlikely to return to fantasy relevance at this point but could perhaps sign on as a special teams contributor.
Titans signed fourth-round pick WR Elic Ayomanor to a four-year contract.
Ayomanor will now begin learning behind Calvin Ridley. Although Ayomanor is unlikely to find a meaningful role in year one, dynasty managers should note his status as training camp gets underway this summer. The former Stanford receiver flashed big-play ability in his two college seasons.
Buccaneers signed seventh-round pick WR Tez Johnson to a four-year contract.
Johnson will serve as a rotational deep-threat option for Baker Mayfield. His thin frame (5'10/154) simply does not lend itself to the repeated hits one incurs in a full-time role. Johnson did earn 100-plus targets in his two seasons at Oregon, though. His big-play style make him a better fit in best ball for now, pending any major on-field breakthroughs.
Giants waived DT Casey Rogers.
Rogers was a 2024 undrafted free agent and logged 33 defensive snaps for the Giants in his rookie season. He is credited with zero tackles and/or sacks. He may find his way onto another roster as a practice squad option.
Vikings signed third-round pick WR Tai Felton to a four-year contract.
Felton is quietly in play to challenge Vikings No. 3 WR Jalen Nailor in training camp. Nailor (5'11/190) caught 28-of-42 targets for 414 yards and six touchdowns in his first season as a starter last year, with the latter category buoying his fantasy productivity. Felton (6'1/183), meanwhile, caught 96-of-143 targets for 1,119 yards and nine touchdowns while averaging 2.32 yards per route run in his final college season. Fantasy managers should monitor Felton’s training camp reports this summer, as he could have a matchup-based WR5 role if everything falls into place.
