NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Tuesday Playbook

Trae Young stunk last night but we get to run it back again today. He simply couldn't make a shot last night but the peripheral stats were great. With everyone out/traded, Young gets a 2% USG bump up to 31% and he averages 1.2 FP/min.

Milwaukee's down a bunch of pieces tonight and Damian Lillard always has a ceiling. Without Kuzma, Portis and a traded Middleton, Lillard has a 27% USG and averages 1.2 FP/min in an elite paced game.

It's a really tough spot but Tyrese Haliburton has been an elite fantasy asset since the All-Star break. Haliburton has a 20% USG over that span and has averaged 1.55 FP/min. The FP/min are ELITE hard to ignore for someone sub-9K.

Giddey's just simply been an elite fantasy producer but we need to know if he's playing or not. Giddey, without Vuc and LaVine this year, has a 23% USG and averages nearly 1.4 FP/min. If the Bulls have any chance at keeping pace with Cleveland, Giddey spearheads that.

The last three games for Stephon Castle has given us a glimpse into what's to come from the young up and coming superstar. Castle has posted at least 25% USG, 22 points, and has had 3+ rebounds, 3+ assists, and 40+ DKP in all three. Twice he's popped for 32% USG or higher. We should continue to see his role look like this.

There are a lot of paths to success here for DDV and the minutes have looked good since returning from injury. He would've approached 29 minutes if he didn't lose garbage time last time out. He could start if Julius Randle sits and has had 27+ DKP in three straight, including 36 and 43 in the last two.

I found this play a bit interesting and it's a GPP only play, but the Knicks have extended Miles McBride in back-to-back games, including closing with him over Bridges last game. McBride can really get it going from three, knocking down three threes in two straight and has scored 12+ actual in each. 

Massive ceiling. Really solid floor. Really great matchup against a bottom-10 defense.

Things have definitely been trending in the right direction for Coby White lately as the scoring is trending upwards. He's scored 19+ points in three straight and four of five, 15+ in all five. He's had 36+ DKP in four of five and without Vucevic, LaVine, and Williams, he has a 25.6% USG and averages 1.08 FP/min.

There are question marks everywhere you turn in Philly but the last two games for Grimes have been awesome. He's played at least 37 minutes in each and has poured in 33+ DKP. He posted at least 22% USG for a second consecutive game too, and who knows who's actually playing for Philly tonight outside of Grimes.

After hitting a rut, Devin Vassell is climbing out of it lately and has been better offensively. He's scored 15+ points in three of four games and has at least 30 DKP in each of them and for a guy who's 5.6K, that's too cheap. He has a 25% USG (2% bump) without Wemby this year and averages .93 FP/min. Brooklyn plays slow, but they're 23rd in DRtg.

It's solid productive for Caris LeVert since arriving in ATL as the minutes are trending in the right direction and so is the fantasy value. He sits at 1.03 FP/min and averages 21.4% USG. He's essentially been in the closing lineup four straight games outside of one garbage time he lost out on. 

There is no bad game that will ever keep me from playing Josh Hart in the next game. Never. He's over a FP/min on the year and is a triple-double threat on a night-to-night basis.

Without Joel Embiid out, Paul George has been solid this year averaging 1.13 FP/min and 26.9% USG. The team might also be without Tyrese Maxey, so it could be Paul George and friends.

The production for OG is all over the place, but he's put up 35+ DKP in three straight games. The wide range of outcomes keeps him as a GPP play only play unless KAT sits.  

Hunter's been a 20% USG and 1.03 FP/min player in a Cavs uniform without Evan Mobley this year. He's the most likely candidate to start with Mobley sidelined here and in a start last time out, putting up 45 DKP.

Georges Niang is off the injury report, so that's worth noting, but we're starting to get a pretty good version of Risacher. He scored 27 actual and 40 DKP last night and is in a 241 implied point total. He's played 25+ minutes in five straight and 31+ in two in a row.

Yes. Giannis. Yes. Play him. Yes. Solid. 32 minutes is enough. Yes. Best spend on the slate.

Banchero gets another crack at the Raptors here. We'll see if he can take advantage because he'll be lower owned than normal. He has a 34.6% USG and averages 1.22 FP/min and Toronto is 24th in DRtg.

I have a REALLY hard time not playing Julius Randle at this price, especially if they're going to throw him out there for mid-30's minutes like they did in his return. Elite spot, elite price, elite play. Reason I coverboy'd him on today's playbook.

Things are trending up for Matas Buzelis of late and he's posted at least 20% USG in four of his last five games and will continue to have that opportunity with Nikola Vucevic out. They're also potentially without a lot of other rotation pieces. I like the price.

Keldon Johnson's a mixed bag of results but has been much more consistent lately. Without Wemby on the year, Johnson's averaged 1 FP/min and sits at a solid 23% USG. He has 30 minute upside when he's feeling it offensively.

Towns has a 27% USG and averages 1.44 FP/min, which is second and first on the team respectively. He's questionable, but his size is going to be an issue for Golden State.

Apparently the All-Star break was all Myles Turner needed because he's been great. Turner has a 20.3% USG and has averaged 1.16 FP/min. He's nearly a 1.1 FP/min player without Ben Mathurin this year.

Okongwu is too cheap ok DK for his price on DK as he continues to be good while on the floor. He's been a 1.15 FP/min player and he's put up 34+ DKP in five straight. This game environment is elite too.

We should feel much more confidence in Jarrett Allen in a closing lineup (if the game is close) without Evan Mobley

Drummond has absolutely smashed at this price lately. SMASHED. 31+ DKP in three straight, back-to-back double-doubles and had a 25 point, 18 rebound game yesterday. Without Embiid, he's going to continue to be extended at center.

FD ONLY - Harden's really good without Simmons, Powell, and Jones as he's posted a robust 37% USG and 1.4 FP/min. Harden sees a +6.5% USG bump against a bottom-five defense.

FD ONLY - It's hard to imagine not liking a player that gets a 10% USG bump without other key pieces. In 113 minutes without the three out, Leonard has a 38.9% USG and 1.25 FP/min on the year.

FD ONLY - Zubac is in a good spot and is a FP/min player. The Clippers need to win as they're clinging onto the 6th seed, and are going to extend their starters for heavy minutes.

FD ONLY - If we see Bodanovic start, there's a case for him to be a core play at this price. He's only 4.6K and he took a boatload of shots after starting the second half in place of Norman Powell. He's posted at least 21% USG in five of six games since the All-Star break.

FD ONLY - I really like LeBron James at 10K on FD in the spot against the Pelicans. The Pelicans are a bottom feeding defense ranking 29th on that end. He's an elite FP/min player.

FD ONLY - Kelly O has been a fantastic FP/min guy. 1.2 FP/min with the Pelicans.. ELITE stuff. The minutes being at 26 are solid and he's put up 26+ FDP in four straight games.

FD ONLY - I like the minutes from Kris Dunn lately. He should top 30 in the starting lnieup and is coming off some big games. In six of his last eight he's put up at least 26 DKP. His stocks on FD make him VERY appealing.
