NBA DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups, Injuries & More Today: Saturday Playbook

Luka appears to have fully knocked the rust off from his injury absence and is settling in nicely with his new squad, as he has flirted with a 30-point triple-double in each of his last three games. The asking price has fully adjusted as well, so you would need a monster performance in a difficult matchup. 

After a brief dry spell, Cade was back to his ceiling producing ways last game, as he posted 37-7-10 in a tough matchup with the Clippers. He gets another tough spot tonight against the Warriors. 

Trae and the Hawks run it back with the Pacers for the second time in three days. Trae was excellent in the last meeting, with 22 points and 16 assists.  

Curry has been on a bit of a heater since his 56-points outburst five games ago, and he put up another 40 points last game against Brooklyn. Detroit has allowed the 10th-most three-pointers made this season, so this is a good spot for the sharp shooter. 

Tyrese Haliburton might be back, back. He has averaged 24 points and 12 assists over his last six games, and he has not scored less than 47 fantasy point in any of them. Hali sat out last game against this Hawks team, but it is a matchup of two teams that rank in the top eight in pace. Click him with confidence (man, it's been a while since we have been able to say that.) 

Ayo Dosunmu remains out and Lonzo Ball is listed doubtful, which should clear the path for Tre Jones to make his third consecutive start. He has played at least 30 minutes and topped 30 fantasy points in each of his last two starts. 

The Raptors have a lengthy injury report that includes Immanuel Quickley, Gradey Dick, Ochai Agbaji, and JaKobe Walter listed out, with Scottie Barnes and Chris Boucher listed questionable. Shead is likely to draw the start and play roughly 30 minutes at near minimum salary. 

Herro is coming off a strong outing against the Wolves and now gets an elite matchup against the Bulls. Andrew Wiggins (questionable) missing this game would only solidify Herro as one of the top plays on the slate. 

Coby White finally seems to have taken on the larger role we have been expecting since the LaVine trade. He went off for 44 points last game against the Magic, so don't let the slow-paced matchup against the Heat scare you away. 

It has been a few games since we have seen a ceiling performance from Daniels, but he is still taking double-digit shot attempts and he is always live for an outburst in stocks. He is in the best game environment of the evening. 

Podz is listed questionable after missing last game against the Nets, so we need to monitor the news. He has topped 33 fantasy points in five of his last eight games, flashing a ceiling above 40 FP in two of them. 

A star-studded tilt between the Lakers and Celtics could have elite players like LeBron James, Luka Doncic, Jayson Tatum, and Jaylen Brown playing huge minutes. There could be epic ceiling performances from any one of them, so I will be sure to grab some GPP exposure.

Barnes has seen a 2.5% usage bump and 4.6% assist rate bump with Quickley and Dick off the floor this season. He is one of the best values on DK if he plays, and still underpriced on FD despite the heftier price tag. 

Fred VanVleet is out again and the Rockets get an elite matchup against the Pelicans, who rank 29th in DRtg. Thompson can fill up the stat sheet and have a spike game in virtually any statistical category. He has seen a 3.9% assist rate bump with FVV off the floor this season.

Barrett is a strong value if Barnes plays, and he is the likely the top value on the entire slate if Barnes misses. 

Giannis got the dreaded midday downgrade to questionable with an illness on the injury report, so this is certainly a situation to monitor. Giannis is a low-owned GPP option that is completely matchup proof if he plays. Lillard, Kuzma, and all the Bucks get huge boosts if Giannis sits. 

Bam has posted 50+ fantasy points in three straight games and now gets an elite matchup against Chicago. Kel'el Ware is expected back, and I do think that matters for Bam's ceiling, but the matchup is too good to ignore. The Bulls have allowed the most points in the paint in the entire league this season, by more than three points per game over the 29th-ranked Pelicans. 

After an extended stretch of no ceiling games after returning from injury, Banchero has now posted ceiling performances in two of his last four games. The FD price is particularly appealing for a player with legitimate 60-fantasy point upside. 

Siakam just went off for more than 50 fantasy points against this Hawks team last game. Tyrese Haliburton is expected back after missing that contest, but Siakam has actually scored more fantasy points per minute with Hali ON the floor this season.

Niang dropped 24 points in 24 minutes last game against this Pacers team. Caris LeVert and Terance Mann are both listed questionable on the injury report. Either of them missing could lead to more playing time for Niang. 

Sengun is underpriced on FD and one of the top values on the slate, while he is more of a GPP play on DK. He gets an elite matchup against the Pelicans, who have allowed the 2nd-most points in the paint and rank 2nd-worst in DRtg. 

Okongwu has averaged more than 42 fantasy points per game over his last three games and he gets a great matchup against the Pacers. Indiana ranks 8th in pace and has allowed the 3rd-most points in the paint this season. 

Poeltl is the mirror image of Sengun in that he is underpriced on DK, but a GPP-only play on FD. Poeltl isn't quite seeing 30 minutes like he was earlier in the season, but the matchup is excellent. 

Draymond has logged at least 31 minutes in four of his last five games. The only game he did log 31+ minutes was due to a blowout of the Hornets, where he went off for 16-12-7. Draymond has been posting extremely consistent production for over a month now.
