Top-Price NBA DFS Core Plays
Domantas Sabonis, C, Sacramento Kings
After a subpar performance, Domantas Sabonis was back to his usual ways of scoring over 50 DKP. He posted a 25-18-5 line against the Memphis Grizzlies shooting a whopping 15 free throws. He has the highest floor and ceiling on the salte and that is why is the most expensive. Like many other games on this slate, you do have to worry about some blowout potential. However, he will still get enough touches to get his tonight.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, PG, Oklahoma City Thunder
SGA has a great matchup at home against a banged-up Utah Jazz team. He has a solid floor in this one with the last three times he has played the Jazz he has scored at least 47 DKP in each matchup. As we go down the stretch here SGA is still playing minutes as he has played at least 33 in four of his last five games. If this game happens to stay close, he should be in line for a big night.
Damian Lillard, PG, Milwaukee Bucks
The matchup for Damian Lillard and the Bucks is a tough one having to go against the Celtics without Giannis Antetokounmpo. Even in a tough matchup, I expect Lillard to have a huge night without Giannis. In the four games without Giannis this season Lillards fantasy points per minute go from 2.37 to 3.1. Plus his usage rate goes from 28% to 36% and that was evident with him going for 64 DKP on Sunday against the Suns. Play Lillard tonight
Mid-Price NBA DFS Core Plays
Tyrese Haliburton, PG, Indiana Pacers
If only Tyrese Haliburton could hit his shots. He is shooting an abysmal percentage from three-point range as of late. Over his last five games, he is just 6-36 from behind the arc and is still averaging over 44 DKP. His price is under 9K on DraftKings and this could be the get-right game against a bad Pistons team. If Haliburton hits shots tonight he could break the slate in this great matchup.
Deandre Ayton, C, Portland Trail Blazers
Deandre Ayton has a good matchup against the Clippers who get beaten up by centers. Ayton has been very good as of late and he is playing a ton of minutes. Over his last four games, he has played at least 37 minutes in each. He is rebounding the ball very well grabbing at least 14 in four of his last five games. With Jerami Grant not expected to play tonight I expect Ayton to continue his success in this and should be in your lineup.
Desmond Bane, PG/SG, Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies rotation is a nightmare tonight as it has been for most of the season. It looks as if they may only have 8-9 players on their team available so Desmond Bane could be in line for big minutes. In just his second game back from injury he played a whopping 37 minutes. I expect that to stay close to the same out of necessity and if he shoots the ball better tonight he should bring you value at just over 8K.
Caris LeVert, PG/SG, Cleveland Cavaliers
This matchup has an abysmal game total of just 204 so you do not want a ton of pieces. However, it is hard to forget what Caris LeVert did in the last game without Donovan Mitchell and company. LeVert played 38 minutes, scored 23 points, dished out 11 assists and grabbed eight rebounds for 55 DKP. The matchup is much worse in this one, but we know he is going to play a lot giving him a solid floor.
Jalen Williams, PF, Oklahoma City Thunder
Jalen Williams seems like a misprice tonight sitting at just $6,900 on DraftKings in a great matchup against the Utah Jazz. He has scored over 45 DKP in back-to-back games in much worse matchups. He has gotten up at least 17 shot attempts in those games and just has great peripheral stats to go along with the scoring. Find a way to get J-Dub in your lineup tonight.
Malik Monk, SG/SF, Sacramento Kings
In the last game with Kevin Huerter leaving early Malik Monk played a whopping 39 minutes. He went off in that time scoring 28 points grabbing six rebounds and dishing out six assists. This matchup against the short-handed Raptors is also a good one having the second-highest point total on the slate. Monk will see a big chunk of time on the floor once again with Huerter out as long as this game can stay close.
GG Jackson, SF/PF, Memphis Grizzlies
I mentioned above that the Grizzlies are short-handed once again in this one, and you should be playing them. Jackson is coming off three straight games of scoring over 30+ DKP. This matchup is also a solid one going against the struggling Warriors who could be without their best defender in Draymond Green. This game could stay close with JJJ and Bane both in the lineup tonight but even if it doesnt, he is still going to have to play 30+ minutes again.
Value-Tier NBA DFS Core Plays
Jaime Jaquez, SF/PF, Miami Heat
Duncan Robinson has already been ruled out tonight, and Jimmy Butler is questionable. I would expect Jaquez to find his way into the starting lineup and play 30+ minutes one way or another. He has played 35 minutes in back-to-back games but has scored under 30 DKP. However, he shot just 9-27 from the floor during that span. If he knocks down more shots tonight he will go over 5x value at his price.
Scoot Henderson, PG, Portland Trail Blazers
Scoot Henderson was a full-go last game but he still only played 30 minutes. That number should tick up in this one as long as he is playing solid on the floor. He struggled some last game going just 4-17 from the floor, so that could have something to do with it. He gets a banged-up Clippers team tonight and has a solid opportunity to bounce back.
Trayce Jackson-Davis, C, Golden State Warriors
With or without Draymond Green in the lineup tonight TJD should be in your player pool. He has played at least 24 minutes in each of the last five games as the backup big. He has scored in double figures in all five of those games and has scored at least 23 DKP. TJD has a very solid floor in this one especially if Green happens to be ruled out.
John Konchar, SG/SF, Memphis Grizzlies
John Konchar is never going to light the scoreboard up with points. But he will give you some solid peripheral numbers night in and night out. Over his last three games, he has a combined eight steals 10 assists and 21 rebounds. With the Grizzlies short-handed he should play over 30 minutes once again making him a solid floor play.

Player News
Kristaps Porzingis (illness) said after Wednesday’s Game 2 loss to the Knicks that his current stamina issues may be related to the problem that sidelined him for eight games late in the regular season.
After an illness limited him to 13 first-half minutes in Boston’s series-opening defeat on Monday, Porzingis came off the bench in Game 2. Unfortunately, he could only give the Celtics 14 minutes. Following the game, Porzingis said his current problem may be related to the upper respiratory ailment that sidelined him for eight games late in the regular season. “Probably, probably,” Porzingis said. “I’ve had like ups and downs throughout until this point. Just now, had a big crash. Now, my energy, my everything, hasn’t been good, but who cares? Have to move forward and it will get better from this point.” While Boston’s shot selection was the focus following its two home defeats, Porzingis’ limited availability has also been a factor. He’ll hope to return to full health in time for Game 3 on Saturday afternoon.
Nikola Jokic finished with 17 points (6-of-16 FGs), eight rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block, two three-pointers and six turnovers in Game 2 against the Thunder on Wednesday.
This was Jokic’s worst performance of the postseason, and it came to an end in the third quarter. He fouled out with 1:17 left in the third, which brought his night to a close after he played 32 minutes. OKC was up 41 points when Jokic fouled out, so his night may have been close to over anyway. Jokic dominated Game 1, and the Thunder adjusted. Denver will need other players to step up if they want to have a chance of winning this series, but Jokic will also need to be better than he was in this game.
Michael Porter Jr. struggled on Wednesday and finished with just eight points (2-of-10 FGs), five rebounds, one steal and two three-pointers in Game 2 against the Thunder.
MPJ was slightly better in the second half, as all eight of his points came in the third quarter. However, the game was already out of hand at that point after a terrible first half for both Porter Jr. and the Nuggets. MPJ shot 1-of-8 in Game 1, and they’ll need him to be much better moving forward. The series will now shift back to Denver, and MPJ will look to get back on track during the two home games before the series heads back to Oklahoma City.
Russell Westbrook provided a boost off the bench with 19 points (5-of-11 FGs, 8-of-10 FTs), one rebound, five assists and one three-pointer in a 149-106 loss to the Thunder in Game 2 on Wednesday.
Despite an ugly first half for Denver, Westbrook was productive and entered the break with 15 points. He didn’t add much in the second half, though he sat the entire fourth quarter, still it was enough to lead the Nuggets in scoring. Russ has been awesome over Denver’s last five games, and his continued success will be key to the Nuggets winning this series. Though this game was ugly, they still have homecourt advantage in this series. They’ll look to keep it in Game 3 on Friday.
Chet Holmgren recorded a double-double on Wednesday with 15 points (3-of-8 FGs, 7-of-7 FTs), 11 rebounds, two assists, two steals, two blocks and two three-pointers in Game 2 against the Nuggets.
After struggling in Game 1, Holmgren bounced back and recorded the fourth postseason triple-double of his career, with three of those coming this season. Aside from Game 3 against Memphis, Holmgren has swatted at least two shots in every game during these playoffs, which was a trend that continued in this game despite him only playing 26 minutes. Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein (14/8/5/1/1) will look to continue to limit Nikola Jokic (17 points) in Game 3 on Friday.
Jalen Williams bounced back on Wednesday with 17 points (6-of-11 FGs), four rebounds, seven assists and two blocks in Game 2 against the Nuggets.
Williams was criticized for his poor performance in the Thunder’s Game 1 loss, but he responded well in OKC’s blowout victory. He was on pace for a bigger night, but he only played 26 minutes and sat the entire fourth quarter due to the lopsided score. He shot the ball much better after shooting 5-of-20 in Game 1, and he’ll need that success to carry over into Game 3 in Denver on Friday.
