Today's early classic slate features seven games in the MLB.

Below, I'll share the best MLB DFS picks using various MLB DFS projections so you can enjoy a massive day of profit in the MLB.

Trust me, some people don't put nearly as much effort into Sunday slates when the NFL is in sight. Let's take advantage.

Here are the MLB DFS picks for September 15th for FanDuel and DraftKings.

Today's MLB DFS Lineup Optimizer & Generator

Using the MLB Lineup Optimizer, I assembled a mock MLB DFS lineup using DraftKings' values.

The MLB DFS projections for Carlos Rodon are different from those of DraftKings and FanDuel. At this point, Rodon is a must-play at DraftKings.

You'll also want to ensure you've got a solid amount of Blue Jays in your lineup, along with Bobby Witt Jr., who projects to be the best player on the entire slate.

My MLB DFS picks are below:

MLB DFS Lineup Picks: Starting Pitchers

Top Options For Strikeouts

Best Odds For A Win

MLB DFS Lineups: Core MLB DFS Pitchers

MacKenzie Gore, Washington Nationals

Over the last month, MacKenzie Gore has struck out 23.5% of batters. But he's held his previous 86 righties to a .089 ISO and wOBA of .300 with 26.7% of strikeouts.

Luckily for Gore, he'll face a Marlins lineup that should have at least eight righties in it. Those eight righties have combined to hit a .126 ISO and wOBA of .289 against lefties over the last month.

Meanwhile, the projected lineup has struck out more than 25% of the time against lefties and has walked only 6.2%.

Gore has limited fly balls and continues to induce an above-average rate of ground balls against righties. He's also added 12.8% of swinging strikes against righties in the last 30 days.

While Carlos Rodon might be one of the best MLB DFS picks today (see below), Gore is still a really good play, according to the MLB DFS projections.

Carlos Rodon, New York Yankees

The Yankees will start Carlos Rodon tonight. He's a left-handed pitcher who has added 33.3% of strikeouts over the last month.

In addition, Rodon has walked only 6.1% of batters and has added nearly 15% of swinging strikes with a near 29% whiff percentage.

He'll battle a Red Sox projected lineup that has hit only a .174 ISO and wOBA of .275 against lefties over the last month. The lineup has also struck out more than 30% of the time against lefties and has walked 5.7% of the time.

Rodon should have a massive game against the Red Sox today.

David Peterson, New York Mets

David Peterson is a left-handed pitcher for the Mets, with an ERA below 3.00 this season.

He's held his last 131 batters to a .098 ISO and wOBA of .301 and has induced 47.4% of ground balls with only 21.1% of fly balls allowed.

Peterson might not earn a heavy amount of strikeouts. He's had some big strikeout games, but the Phillies really don't strike out much against lefties. That said, the Phillies also don't have much power against lefties.

The projected lineup has hit a .090 ISO against lefties over the last month. The best power hitters are Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber, but those two haven't had much success against lefties lately.

I'd take a flier on Peterson if you couldn't fit in the other two lefties above.

JP Sears, Oakland Athletics

My favorite four MLB DFS picks for starters are all left-handed pitchers. Whatever that means.

Anyway, JP Sears will take the mound for the Athletics. He's allowed a .171 ISO and wOBA of .321, which isn't exactly elite. But he has a matchup against the White Sox that must be considered.

The White Sox's projected lineup has hit a .024 ISO and wOBA of .239 against lefties over the last 30 days.

The lineup has also struck out 28% of the time against lefties and has walked only 7.6% of the time.

Sears hasn't been electric like the other three pitchers above. But if you need to shed some salary, taking Sears as a low-tier option against the White Sox is never a bad option.

MLB DFS Lineup Picks: Hitters

Highest Expected Run Totals

MLB DFS Lineups: Core MLB DFS Hitters

Bobby Witt, SS, Kansas City Royals

Bobby Witt likely won't win the MVP in the American League. But he'll be a finalist. Witt Jr. is finishing the year strong, too.

He's added a .267 ISO and wOBA of .352 against his last 82 righties and has struck out below 16% of the time.

He's also smashed over 30% of fly balls with 50% hard contact and a 16.1% barrel percentage against righties.

He'll take on Jared Jones of the Pirates. While Jones has electric stuff, he's struggled throughout the second half of the season against righties. He's allowed a .379 ISO and wOBA of .424 to his last 32 righties.

In addition, Jones has allowed a 47.8% hard contact rate and has only struck out 18.8% of righties in the last 30 days.

Witt Jr. is in line for a big day. He's a must when deciding your MLB DFS picks

Blue Jays Stack

The Toronto Blue Jays' projected lineup has hit a .216 ISO and wOBA of .367 against righties over the 30 days. The lineup has six batters with an ISO of .219 or more and eight players with a wOBA of at least .316 against righties.

That's big news, especially with a matchup against Miles Mikolas today.

Mikolas is a right-handed pitcher for the Cardinals, who has already allowed a .228 ISO and wOBA of .370 to his last 103 batters. Those 103 batters have also minimized strikeouts to 20.4% and have added 47.5% of hard contact against him.

Consider these batters in the Toronto lineup.

Last 30 days against righties:

George Springer: .271 ISO, .349 wOBA
Vladimir Guerrero: .219 ISO, .399 wOBA
Spencer Horwitz: .343 ISO, .439 wOBA
Addison Barger: .306 ISO, .375 wOBA
Ernie Clement: .262 ISO, .391 wOBA
Joey Loperfido: .232 ISO, .333 wOBA

The MLB DFS projections don't have the Blue Jays as the top offense in this slate. But analytically. they certainly look like the best MLB DFS picks on the slate.

Lars Nootbarr, OF, St. Louis Cardinals

Over the last month, left-handed hitter Lars Nootbarr has hit a .185 ISO and wOBA of .399 against his last 76 righties. He's also struck out only 10.5% of the time and has worked 13.2% of walks in that same period.

Nootbarr has also smoked 56.9% of hard contact and has added a 12.1% barrel percentage with a .339 BABIP against righties.

He'll be in line to face Yariel Rodriguez of the Blue Jays. Rodriguez is a righty who has struggled against lefties over the last month. He's given up a .349 ISO and wOBA of .443 to his previous 49 lefties. Furthermore, he's allowed 54.3% of hard contact and has only recorded 16.3% of strikeouts against lefties over the last month.

Nootbarr is one of the lefties in the Cardinals' lineup who can take advantage of Rodriguez's weak stats. Consider adding Nootbarr as one of your top MLB DFS picks for the day.
