If you’ve been keeping up with all the great NFL DFS content we’ve been rolling out here on the website, on the Fantasy Alarm YouTube page and on our show on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio, then you should be pretty excited about what’s in store for NFL Week 6.

The bye weeks have helped narrow down the player pool, the chalk plays are easily identifiable, and we’ve been doing a fantastic job unearthing some of the key value plays. And there’s no better way to get your research going than to dive in here with the best NFL DFS Week 6 Watch List.

I try to merge a lot of what we discuss on the Fantasy Alarm Show on SiriusXM with the written content here and the NFL DFS Show that I do with Jon Impemba, but it’s always important to check in with what we do on the radio. If you caught either show last week with me and Andrew Cooper – Thursday or Friday – you would have heard me map out a few lineups I was building and heard just how high we were on Cincinnati Bengals Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase in their match-up against the Baltimore Ravens

Granted, I had Derrick Henry coming back on them instead of Zay Flowers or Isaiah Likely and I didn’t full-stack the Bengals with Tee Higgins like some of the big winners, but the lineup popped on FanDuel for just over 173 points and cashed well in all of my GPP tournaments.

I know it’s tough for some of you to absorb everything we produce, but steady content rolling out, both audio and video, coupled with what we discuss on the show daily, allows you to hone in on some of the key players we are targeting.

Not everyone is going to pop for us like that Bengals/Ravens game, but it keeps you in the areas you need to be. Again, starting your research here with the best NFL DFS Week 6 Watch List is a great way to begin.

Best NFL DFS Week 6 Watch List For 2024

One of the things we always try to keep you from doing is chasing points. The Bengals popped last week and get the New York Giants on Sunday night which is part of FanDuel’s main slate. The Ravens take on the Washington Commanders. Both games have a 52.5 over/under and everyone is going to flock to those players.

Obviously, we are going to want to be somewhat invested in both games, but loading up on the same players isn’t the way to win a GPP as ownership is going to be high. Maybe we look at a few but identifying players from the other games who are going to be lower-owned but still have that swing-for-the-fences potential, will be where we want to look.

The players you see below are recommendations based off research done on a Tuesday. Things can definitely change, and we’ll track all the practice reports, injury news and ownership throughout the week, but for an early glance, a few teams we may want to be invested in at a potentially lower ownership rate include the Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, Atlanta Falcons and even the Carolina Panthers

All of those projected game totals are sitting at 47.5 and higher, so as you’re doing your research throughout the week, pay some special attention to those teams, just as we are doing here in the best NFL DFS Week 6 Watch List

Top DraftKings DFS Week 6 Watch List

Jayden Daniels, QB Washington Commanders ($7,800)

He’s a little pricey, but that seems to be where we want to love with quarterbacks here in Week 6. The high upside of a mobile quarterback is something we routinely preach, and Daniels is at the top of his game right now. Everyone is waiting for the bottom to eventually fall out but given some of the issues we’ve seen with the Ravens defense, it doesn’t appear that this week is that week.

The Ravens are allowing the second-most passing yards per game, they’ve allowed nine touchdowns through the air this season and opposing quarterbacks are posting a combined rating of 101.0. If this game becomes the shootout Vegas is expecting, then we’re going to want to get Daniels into our lineups. I will say that as we track projected ownership throughout the week, we would happily pivot to Lamar Jackson should his ownership totals be lower.

Bijan Robinson, RB Atlanta Falcons ($6,600)

Not only is everyone scared to use him, but his price has dropped to a place where I feel like you almost HAVE TO use him. The Panthers continue to be one of the worst run defenses out there and they’re allowing an average of 144.6 rushing yards per game. Even better is the fact that they’ve allowed nine rushing touchdowns this season already. We know Bijan has the talent. We’re just waiting for the right opportunity, and I believe this is it.

Zay Flowers, WR Baltimore Ravens ($6,500)

Last week, we were all over Amari Cooper because he was facing the Commanders secondary and, more specifically, Benjamin St-Juste. That didn’t work out for us as intended, but Cooper still had a decent day. Now we get Flowers who is a strong pass-catcher and a much better, much more reliable, quarterback in Lamar Jackson throwing him the football.

I don’t think you need me to spout DVOA data for this one, but just in case you do, the Commanders rank 32nd in DVOA against the opposing WR1 and are allowing an average of almost 85 receiving yards per game.

Trey McBride, TE Arizona Cardinals ($5,700)

We watched McBride shake of the concussion he suffered in Week 4 to become the target leader for the Cardinals in Week 5. He caught six of nine balls for 53 yards and now he’ll square off with the Packers who rank 17th in DVOA against the tight end and are allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per game to the position. If you’re paying up at the tight end position, this is the way.

Best FanDuel DFS Week 6 Watch List

Joe Burrow, QB Cincinnati Bengals ($8,100)

Like I said earlier, we are going to want pieces of this game and while Burrow is a pretty big piece, his cost is not nearly as constrictive as Chase’s, and we don’t have to worry about whether Higgins or some other pass-catcher is going to pop instead. Using Burrow on FanDuel allows you to have a slice of the entire Bengals passing attack.

The Giants aren’t giving up a ton of yards through the air, but with Zack Moss banged up, perhaps we see a bit more passing in this one for Cincinnati. I expect it to be a solid play given the Giants are allowing opposing quarterbacks a 104.4 passer rating and should this one stay relatively close, Burrow will continue to keep the attack in the air.

Tony Pollard, RB Tennessee Titans ($7,000)

There should be no question regarding who the lead back is in Tennessee a Pollard has easily pushed Tyjae Spears aside. He’s seen at least 16 carries in three of his four games and is also averaging four targets per game. He saw a substantial workload (22 carries) in Week 4 but is plenty rested after the bye week and is now ready to take on the defensively challenged Indianapolis Colts.

Last week, the Colts got shredded by Tank Bigsby who was working in relief of the injured Travis Etienne, and we expect more of the same from Pollard. Indianapolis is allowing the second-most rushing yards per game (157.0) and they’ve allowed five rushing touchdowns on the season. The Titans want to keep the pressure off Will Levis, so establishing a string rushing attack is going to be a top priority.

Jameson Williams, WR Detroit Lions ($6,300)

What I love about using Williams is that everyone is going to run to use Amon-Ra St. Brown first, especially coming off the bye week. But we all know the best way to attack Dallas is on the ground, so while yes, we will be investing in Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, Williams, at this price, is going to be huge.

Dan Campbell will run heavily and allow the play-action to open up the deep shots downfield. Those deep shots tend to fall into Williams’ lap and considering the Cowboys rank 28th in DVOA against the opposing WR2, we’re ready to lock him in.

Pat Freiermuth, TE Pittsburgh Steelers ($5,700)

If there’s one mid-tier tight end we can all seemingly rely on, it’s Freiermuth. The numbers aren’t eye-popping, but we also have only seen him with Justin Fields under center. No official change to Russell Wilson has been made yet, but we know it’s coming. We’re not sure if it happens from the start or if he comes in as relief, but Freiermuth is certainly more appealing with Wilson under center.

The Raiders rank 31st in DVOA against the tight end position and they’re allowing an average of seven passes for 54 yards each week. They haven’t allowed a ton of fantasy points to tight ends this season, but that seems like a stat waiting to be corrected. Muth is definitely affordable and in a great spot for Week 6.
