It seems as though we have at least one classic AFC South rivalry on a weekly basis, and we have one this Sunday with the Tennessee Titans hosting the Indianapolis Colts. They both still have work to do to get to a .500 record let alone catch the Houston Texans, but still, we’ve got our best Colts vs. Titans predictions for the matchup.

Colts vs. Titans Predictions For NFL Week 6, Sunday 10/13
It’s back-to-back AFC South rivalry games for the Colts with this one coming on the heels of allowing the Jacksonville Jaguars to earn their first win of the season. Speaking of which, the Titans only just notched theirs on Monday Night Football in Week 4.
We say “just” as they are coming off a Week 5 bye, so they’re still sitting at 1-3 on the year. In other words, this is far from a matchup of titans, no pun intended. Both teams have questions at QB as well, so it’s no surprise that we see this game at nearly a pick ‘em, which it is as some sportsbooks.
Regardless, we’ve still found an approach to the matchup that we love for the best bet from our Colts vs. Titans predictions.
Indianapolis Colts: Battling Through Injuries
We mentioned QB question marks, and that would be second-year signal-caller Anthony Richardson for the Colts. However, just as he did for the Cleveland Browns last year, 39-year-old Joe Flacco came in to lead Indy to a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers two weeks ago.
There’s a chance we see Richardson back under center this Sunday, but he isn’t the only injury concern for the Colts. Star RB Jonathan Taylor also missed Indy’s most recent game, and at this point, injuries always have to be considered for the Wisconsin product.
Tennessee Titans: Will Will Play?
The question above is, of course, referencing Titans QB Will Levis. He too was drafted just two seasons ago alongside Richardson, and the question is fair regarding both his recent injury and play.
Levis has made some wildly questionable decisions through the first few games, including each of the first two weeks where many fans would argue that he cost them the game completely. Fans were already calling for his benching after Week 3, which ultimately culminated in his shoulder injury on Monday Night Football in Week 4.
With Tennessee having since had a week off, it will be interesting to see how the team handles his return.
Colts vs. Titans Odds, Spreads, Total & Betting Lines
When we shared that this game was set to be a tight one, that was no exaggeration. Here are the latest Colts vs. Titans odds at BetMGM Sportsbook:
- Point Spread: Indianapolis Colts -1 (-110) vs. Tennessee Titans +1 (-110)
- Money Line: Indianapolis Colts (-120) vs. Tennessee Titans (+100)
- Game Total (Over/Under): Over 42.5 (-110) vs. Under 42.5 (-110)
Colts vs. Titans Predictions: Over 42.5 Points (-110 at BetMGM Sportsbook)
We’re getting some solid value with the best bet from our Colts vs. Titans picks thanks to BetMGM, as this total is still being listed as high as 43.5 points elsewhere. Even still, we see this number being overly adjusted with the injury concerns.
Clearly, oddsmakers don’t have faith in two offenses that are dealing with the injuries we’ve already mentioned. However, Indy also has key position roles missing on defense, so it’s no surprise that we’ve seen them struggle, especially as of late.
The Colts just allowed 37 points to a then 0-4 Jags team, and even though they got the win the week prior, they allowed an anemic Steelers offense to put up 24 points. In fact, given that they won that game, it also proves that they can do their fair share of scoring as well.
Even in last week’s loss, Indy put up 34 points themselves! Admittedly, we know that Tennessee’s offense leaves a bit to be desired, but they can at least thrive against poor defenses like the Colts - they scored 31 points in their most recent matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
These teams still may not play the cleanest football, but mistakes can also lead to points, so the best bet from our Colts vs. Titans predictions is over 42.5 points (-110 at BetMGM Sportsbook).
